John has been cutting my hair since my Dad took me to him when I was 13. That's OVER 30 years ago. Not the cheapest haircut, but a very professional and personable AND practical person. (At 13, I insisted on a Rat Tail, and John suggested against it.) Great guy, fast, friendly service. And a loyal clientele. Appointments are easy to get, and often times you can just arrive and get get your hair cut without a very long wait.
