First time visit.. usually go to a hair specialist but was in the area and was recommended to try.. immediately when I entered I was treated like a sports rockstar. Decided to try the MVP and wow, hot towel, massage and a great haircut!! All this without breaking the bank.. prices are great, staff are awesome.. Venessa was exceptional

Although the wait was a little long, the atmosphere was calm and clean. Service was accommodating and efficient. One staff member appeared to be loafing about but other 3 were constantly hard at work either cleaning or servicing. Much better experience than other places in Barrie, as I felt the stylist actually took her time to cut my hair and beard to my specifications rather than rushing through to get me out the door. I'll definitely be coming back.

What an experience! Went in as a Joe Dirt impressionist, came out as Bond, aging Bond. My stylist, Molly, was an absolute rock star! Great conversation and she perfectly styled my out of control mane. I had the “MVP” treatment; guys, this is how the other half gets a haircut. Wow. Most certainly recommended! Sport Clips is a new mens hair salon in Barrie and it is FIRST RATE all the way. The salon is very well organised and extremely comfortable. My stylist, BRANDY, was very knowledgeable about the latest styles in mens hair. BRANDY listened to what I wanted and was able to finish my cut exactly as I wanted. Brandy introduced me to a product, TEA TREE SHAMPOO, that I was happy to purchase from the salon. I most definitely will be back and I will also recommend Sport Clips to ALL MY FRIENDS and I will also highly recommend that they ask for BRANDY as their stylist.

Our two sons went to this Sports Clips and got taken advantage of. They came in as new customers and were told they would get the VIP treatment. When they were done they charged them extra but had implied that the VIP treatment was free for new customers. Both boys are also very disappointed in the quality of the cut. Over priced and under delivered!!! Don't support this establishment where they take advantage of young clientele.

He feels spoiled every time he goes. He was also shocked to learn he won Jays tickets from Sports Clips! He went to the game in May and had the time of his life - thanks Sports Clips - you ROCK!

My son's (age 6) name got pulled out in a draw for a Raptors game, ended taking my daughter as he was tired. Just wanted to say thank you very much for the tickets. We really enjoyed the game. Posting on behalf on my 13 yr old son who was disappointed with the hair cut given. He requested a crew cut and was not given that . It may be that the stylist did not know what a crew cut is .He is correct that hair cut is not a crew cut . Maybe next time ?

I visited Sport Clips today. I came up to see my sister-in-law and was in need of a tidy up. I was greeted relatively quickly, which was nice. I gave my info and hopped right into the chair. The lady was nice and pleasant to talk to, however, the hair cut quite honestly was the worst I've ever had. I asked for a skin fade and not for the top to be cut into. I was in the chair for no more than 20 mins and was given a closed 1 and very quick clipper over comb blend. As a hairdresser myself, I'd never allow a client to leave with what was done on my head. There were steps all throughout my head and the fade wasn't balanced from one side to the other. There was also a chunk cut out of my hair that's quite visible now. I don't have the greatest vision without my glasses, so when I got in the car afterwards my girlfriend asked if this was some kind of joke, and then I put on my glasses and saw what circus act had been left on my head. The hair cut was free due to a referral card, but I tipped out of courtesy of being in industry myself. All in all, would I go back? Definitely not. Would I recommended this place to anyone? Never. I ended up going to A Man's Zone to get it fixed where it cost more, but the quality was so worth it. The conversation was the only redeeming quality of Sport Clips. If you're looking for a good chat about sports, go to a sports bar. Save the money, time, frustration, and heart ache.

My son gave me a free haircut from Sport Clips Barrie...great establishment, atmosphere was excellent, they setup is very "guy" friendly. Sports on TV with waiting area setup with stadium seating, great concept. Staff were friendly and were fast efficient and did a great job. Very satisfied and will go back. Only reason I'm not giving 5 Stars is they tried to sell me hair products and all I really wanted was a cut. But I understand why they did it and will not fault them for trying but when you see there's no interest stop trying to up sell. Great place, great people, great atmosphere...great job!

Just got a cut done tonight with the MVP package. Just wanted to point out some of the great things I like about this place. When you walk in your greeted right away. The new check in process makes it easy and can see it will help speed things up. The wait is never bad with sports on big screen. Another thing is they record how you got your last cut. Its a little thing but makes you feel like this is your place and everyone knows you. The MVP package is great way to cap off your day with the massage and tea tree shampoo. Always feel refreshed. The only thing that bugs me is that I wear glasses and I'm blind as a bat without them. I get to miss out on the sports while in chair. Although the staff always can strike up a great conversation. I like this place, This is my place!

The online check-in is somewhat lacking. I realize it's not a reservation but when I arrive at the location approx 10 minutes before my suggested time their tablet says I have the same wait time as when I originally checked-in. I waited at home for 30 minutes then waited another 35 at the store. I may as well have just come straight here. The staff acknowledged that they do not know how the online check-in system works.

This was my first visit and what a great experience. From their checkin system to in store service, very impressive! I love how their checkin system works, allowing the store to space in store clients due to COVID regulations. Their system should be a model for any retail or service brick and mortar business looking to figure out how to service clients in specific time intervals so not everyone is in at the same time! Well done!

We just had the best experience at the Park Place location. Molly cut our 2 year olds hair and she was INCREDIBLE. Toddler haircuts are sometimes stressful, but Molly put us all at ease and made the visit fun for our little guy. She did a great job with his hair as well. He looks amazing!!! Sports clips is a very cool place to take your son for a haircut. The waiting room has chairs like a sports event and there is a large screen tv. The kids are treated like VIPs. Make sure you sign in on line before you get there to save on wait times (when they're busy).

Been here a couple times. First time. Excellent experience. Second and third I had to wait at minimum 30 minutes plus the second time had a girl who struggled to cut my hair (relatively simple). Had to call someone over to help (never experienced this before) and honestly had the worst manners ever. Last time ( in my car writing this) they have 3 girls on at prime time. No one greeted me. I entered my name in the system. There were 3 people ahead of me. After waiting 30 minutes finally got to talk to someone. They said another 30 minutes. I literally watched one girl be finished a haircut for 15 minutes and complain about a headache and not take anyone else in. The family in front of me was obviously annoyed too. They said 5 more minutes and they were leaving. Brutal staffing. Haircuts have been subpar 2 of the times and some of the girls doing the cuts need some lessons on customer service. No one wants to be waiting an hour for a cut (with only 3 other people in the place) and then watch as you move slow and talk and complain and make people wait even longer as we witness it all. It's a job. Get use to it. Last time I go here.

My sons went here for a haircut and came away sorely disappointed. They were told that because it was their first visit they were going to get the MVP treatment no mention of the fact that it cost extra. One of my sons was told his hair would be blended and when the stylist finished she admitted that she hadn't blended his hair. Not impressed with the service received nor the cost involved. Won't be back.

Gave my son the worst haircut. Asked for a fade and to leave top long because he was growing it out. Well he was left with a choppy mess and of course she cut the top. Will need to take him somewhere else to have it corrected. Do not go here.

Coming in as a first time customer I was told that I had been upgraded to the MVP cut for free. At the checkout the extra charge had been added, reading other reviews similar situations have occured. The haircut and service was good but did not appreciate the free upgrade lie.

Went with my husband to get our 10 month old son a hair cut. The wait was not long, but the person who called my sons name said she was not comfortable cutting his hair and recommended a different stylist. Connie did a great job and was very patient and experienced, knowing how to move and hold him to cut different sections. His hair was not 100% even, but I have a little boy who won't sit still. I appreciated that the first stylist admitted that she was not experienced enough to cut the hair of an infant and she did a good job on my husbands hair.

Staff was enforcing there Covid protocols in an unfriendly manner. My hairdresser completed my haircut with record speed. When I got home I noticed several hairs around my ears and forehead that were really long (as in not cut at all). Got out the scissors and trimmed them myself. Could have been avoided if my hairdresser would have taken an extra 30 seconds to look at her work before sending me on my way. I will not go back to this location.

The haircuts are always done with great care and she is really considerate regarding the customer's needs. “ This business closes down one of it outlets, and expects me (a customer) to travel many miles to make use of my prepaid MVP card. It keeps sending me promotional emails, but did not have the decency to advise me that they were closing down their Toronto Bayview branch when I last patronized the branch or via their promotional emails…. It does not offer to refund the unused value of the already prepaid card, nor does it offer to pay my transport costs to their other still open branches in order to use up my card… It seems that this business wants to “have its cake and eat it….” Follow up… After several emails complaining to SportClips Support, I received a phone call from “the owner” of the closed franchise. He said he would send me a check in refund, by Friday. Two Fridays have passed. No Cheque. They took my money, and that’s it… In reply to a further email from me SportClips Support said “compensation” had been dispatched to me, and I would be getting a further phone call from the “owner.” That was 2 days ago. No phone call, no compensation… Stay away from this business or any of their franchises….if that is how they treat customers…”

Tried going here for a haircut SIX times to try it out as I keep getting coupons to TRY this MVP haircut experience. EVERY single time has been over an hour wait and only 2 or 3 hair dressers on site. Terrible business. Will never see a penny from me and I'll be sure to pass on my experience to everyone I know.

Tried this place today for the first time and I got to say I was truly impressed with the service and friendliness. As soon as I walk in the door I was greeted and they shook my hand. Never have I gotten a greeting from any other barber like that. I guess I was treated to a MVP type treatment for my first visit and I got to say it is a must do again. The hair cut was okay. I just needed a quick trim. My fault really should have put my glasses on but they could have taken a bit more off the top. Again my fault really. I guess i was just taken in with the great hospitality. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new barber/stylist its the small things that make this place great.

Was told 15 minute wait and signed in and waited 45mins, unfortunately they only have 2 people to cut hair and 6 people in the waiting lobby, very slow, hair dresser must be annoyed also because it was a poor personal experience for a first timer didn’t feel too welcomed and probably won’t be coming back to pay extra for a haircut that I can get at great clips.

I would give the hairdresser 0 stars if I could but google makes you put atleast 1, I’m 19 years old and have had my hair cut a hundred times but I have never had someone rush so fast in my life and I was the only customer in the building! She’s also the only hairdresser I’ve ever had that has not shown me the back of my hair after getting it cut as I type this I have no idea what the back of my head could look like! She’s also the manager of this fine establishment. And to top it off since she was in such a rush for no reason at all she barely even touched my hair and when I asked her to cut the top shorter she COMPLAINED!! And rushed it even faster, lastly when I first came in I told her it was my first time at that shop so she said she would give me the MVP package for free with my cut for it being my first time at her shop but I guess asking her to do a little more cutting made her freakin charge me for it $26 dollars for the fastest, and worst hair cut I’ve ever had. DONT GO HERE
