A bad experience turned Amazing! My boyfriend was here on the weekend getting a hair cut. He wasn’t fully happy with what he walked out with but tried to just get over it because he isn’t one to make a stink. However by Tuesday after looking at himself in different angles he realized it’s much worse than he thought. He got a fade but it just wasn’t very blended. We went back on Tuesday to explain what happened and the hairdresser Jess immediately said she knew how to fix it for us. She worked after close to make sure my boyfriend left happy and got exactly what he asked for. We are beyond satisfied with Jess and all her hard work. we cannot express how thankful we are that she took our situation seriously and worked with us to correct his hairstyle. We will definitely be returning to Jess in the future !! Great job!!!

A fantastic place to get a clean up or a basic mens haircut (what I wanted) having to wait 10 minutes when the place was empty is a bit much. Too many barbershops want to be that old school urban place where people will wait because Carl has been cutting hair for 50 years and your Dad went to him when he was a kid. It's not that place. Get in get out and don't make me look like I'm deploying for Iraq is all I ask. These guys know what side of the road they are on and are doing a great job. I'd go back again.

Original review: Let me tell you about this place... you want an experience? Here's one. So we arrive at 5pm. It's a busy Saturday for my family and I. My daughter has been bugging to get her hair cut for a year. My wife regularly tells her she can't as she likes my daughter with long hair. About a month and a half ago my son went to this place after school. He thought it was a great place. I figured I would cave into my daughter's request while my wife was at work. So we went based off my son's recommendation. It is a nice looking place. Not the most comfortable seats. Nice big screen with a ball game on. We sign in Jessica. Then we wait. We wait and wait. I was talking to my son and he wanted his hair cut too. So I said sign in. So after about 30 mins it is Jessica's turn. She shows the girl what she wants. The girl doesn't know how to do it. So we have to wait again. Luckily Marcus is up next. He goes and tells the same girl he wants a brush cut. The girl has no clue what that it. We show her a picture. She says she knows how-to do that and she would try. Wait another 20 minutes. Jessica finally has her turn. They shampoo her and get ready to cut her hair. They found nits in her hair. They cant cut it. Ok. That is totally understandable. That is an issue that needs correction because you don't want to create a hazard to passing it on to other people. No problem. About 5 minutes later they say to my son they can't finish his haircut because he had some. Wait... finish? That girl who doesn't know how to cut hair has already cut most of his hair off with no issue. As far as nits being in his hair he barely has any hair. In my state of shock I paid for it and somehow even ended up tipping 18%. What the hell is wrong with me? What the hell is wrong with them? They have someone there who doesn't know what she is doing. I can cut hair better than her. She didn't even check to see if my son had anything beforehand. Then the poor boy has to walk around with half a damned haircut until the issue is corrected? Seriously if you go in there, shorter girl, little bit larger, glasses and brown hair. Younger. If you end up with her beware. She doesn't know what she is doing. I can accept why they couldnt cut my daughter hair but not that they couldnt complete my sons and consider how many times this woman has probably cut hair with full blown lice in it or whatever because she doesn't check before cutting. Meaning her equipment may be contaminated as well as anybody who's equipment comes in contact with her or it. Be careful. Also if they do half a haircut don't be stupid like I was just 20 minutes or so ago. Don't pay. You wouldnt pay full price for a builder to build half a house, don't pay for half a haircut. When I have corrected the issues with my kids I will be going elsewhere and ignoring recommendations from my son from now on. Highly disappointed.

Worst haircut ever!!! I thought my 14 yr old son did it himself. If there was a 0 star, I would give it. I would be embarassed to have a client leave my establishment looking so terrible. Had it been me with him and not his stepmum, I would have marched right back in. Shame on the staff member, whom I will refer to as Edward Scissorhands, that did the chopjob.

Went here with my boyfriend, and it was pretty bad. His haircut took over an hour (it’s a very simple haircut) and the woman had no idea what she was doing. When he was told to get up, another woman told him to sit back down and pretty much said that this was wrong and took over the appointment. In the end the cut was much shorter because they would just cut off mistakes that were made, not sure if many of these women have gone to school for hair or not, but it sure doesn’t show. Honestly, just pay a little more and go to a proper salon.

Even during a pandemic they have a great and safe way to ensure all customers get a safe experience that allows you to enjoy your time. The atmosphere is fun and even if you aren't a sports fan you have friendly staff to make your experience enjoyable. The hair cut and MVP experience with Jessica is worth every dollar, and due to the pandemic it was my first hair cut experience since lockdown and she made it a great one. I'll be coming back for all my hair cut needs, highly recommend to anyone.

I like this place, *usually* never much of a wait. - 5 mins on average the times I've been there. I like getting the MVP upgrade. The *can do ladies* but they have no styling abilities outside of mens hair cuts so keep that in mind and they will also straight up tell you there.

Good COVID protocols in place, staff was on top of requiring anyone entering to wear masks and hand sanitize. Great haircut as usual. I highly recommend web check-in so you will not have any wait when you arrive.

I'll start off by saying I went here once before on a cold snowy night, so they didn't really have the chance to do it then. But I walked in for a haircut, signed my name on the sheet, and sat down for 10 minutes. Soon after another few people came in and I sat there waiting another 10 minutes while they signed in. The ladies working went back to do it. There haircuts and I waited about another 10-15 minutes before they got up and called everyone that arrived after me for their service. Now that every person I was there with had left, and the new people arriving after me are getting their hair cut I wasn't to impressed. When i finally did get my hair cut the girl didn't say a word besides "what number." and "do you want gel." save yourself the 40 minutes.

I asked for this haircut...while cutting, she asked for the “length” size which i agreed on but she didn’t fade my sides..After 10 mins when i came to realize that my sides has not been faded and requested them humbly to do it..she literally denied on my face.!!!!.....on what basis can she deny.!!!!!!.... also she just literally damaged my back side..just have a look at photos..i feel too shy to show it in public even...100% customer satisfaction gauranteed is what you keep on mirror...then kindly obey it...this was totally not done...

Why go to a Casino when u can go here! I have been to sports clips a few times, i was there when their doors first open. But! As the opening sentence insinuates: a gamble! Dont get me wrong; i have had some amazing experiences here. Had hair cuts that boost my looks and mood. I have walked out looking and feeling like a model, but far too often now it has been a gamble as to what my experiences are. Today, i had an experience that very well may make sure i dont return. I did have to wait perhaps 5 mins which.. wasnt so bad... but was also about how much time my hair dresser spent with me and my hair. The time spent on what little hair i do still have left was appalling. I spent more time getting to the barbershop then they spent cutting my hair, and i live around the corner...literally. I had planned to do the vip treatment, and have a good experience. However... my barber spent 5 mins doing my hair and then told me it would be an extra $5 to do my beard. I told her not a problem but..apperently doing my beard was for her. By this time it became more apperant she was much more concerned with rushing me out the door and getting me out of there then just cutting my hair. A setiment i too now was beginning to share and feel. I decided against the vip treatment cause it seemed she didnt exactly know what that acronym means. A few literal snipes here and there... on my head and beard and was told that she was done. I wasnt going to argue. Last part that threw me was i was asked if i wanted product for my "haircut". i figured might aswell have alittle something to take away from all this. She then asked me to put my hands out palm up... she then placed a dime size amount in my hand and told me to rub it together and then style my hair. She made me put in my own product. Never have i had to do that when i go to the barbers. By this time i was just itching to leave. I got up to pay and frankly had to have an argument within myself about whether i should be paying the $40 charge infront of me. I was charged and had to pay $40 for this experience. There are no words to describe or express the sheer sadness, disappointment of being charged $40 for about 8 mins of someone not engaging their customer, doing a few scissor clips and then making you do the finishing touches and then have a great big smile on there face as you are forced to walk out in shock of paying them $40 for the little that they did. I ended up having to then go home to not just finish the hair cut; but to do exactly what they were suppose to do. The service they said that they were going to offer me. I made sure though... to take more then 8 mins. What happened sports clips? Is that the new business model? Spend only a few minutes. Do virtually nothing and or make sure the customer does some of the work and then charge them for the "experience"? I didnt even go to hairdresser school, yet i had to be the one to fix what a certified ( yes certified because while there i was told that the hairdresser was certified) did to me. So...if you ever feel like wasting your money, or take a big gamble and hope you get lucky... by all means come here; ill be taking my chances though at the casino... i seem to have better luck there!

Wanted to give this place a try as it looked nice aesthetically, boy was I disappointed. I walked inside and signed in the check-in sheet while I talked to one of the hairdressers. They ask right off the bat for your email and phone number and postal code on the check in sheet... I then proceeded to wait 30 minutes as about 4 people walked in after me and got their service completed before I did. While reading and waiting I overheard some chat from the hairdressers joking about how the other is going make them one day cause an ''accident'' on a customer. Totally unprofessional, bombarded with useless information and apparently they can’t read a check in sheet correctly. If I had one positive thing to say is that it had a nice sports atmosphere, hence the 1 star. Avoid at all costs and save 35 minutes of your life.

I have been going to a local barbershop for years here and they are closed on Sundays. I decided to roll the dice and try somewhere else and found sports clips. I had been there before but maybe a year ago for the same reason as stated and was unsure of the place. I love how you can check in online and show up around the estimated arrival time. Also Donna was absolutely amazing she saw the same vision I did and did an absolutely terrific job. Also the MVP treatment really rejuvenates you. It's about time there is a place where males can be "pampered". I believe I have found my new barbershop. The reason I went to the north end was because there was such a long wait at the south location. I'm so glad I did. I hope by the next time I need another cut I can visit Donna again and get the MVP treatment I deserve. Keep up the good work. Price point is a little high but sooo worth it. I walked out feeling like a new man.

The tv's are a nice touch but the sign (cundles Rd) on the window said 'No Wait' and ended up waiting just over 15mins. Was incredibly disappointed with the haircut I received from Lynda. Showed her a picture of what I was looking for & she took a quick look & told me she would 'give it a try' (it was nothing difficult or fancy). It ended being much shorter on the sides & looking like an older style haircut, very much not what I showed her.I will have to find a different style to match the length left to have it corrected somewhere else. I also left with lots of smallish chunks of white hair product all throughout my black hair giving the appearance of major dandruff & needed to go home & wash it out. I would NOT recommend her to anyone.

Never been to one before, was impressive. Blow away expectations! Had a bunch of TVs all running sports, got treated to a hot towel face massage, shampooing and neck massage! The entire time I as trying to add up the potential costs, because I didn't check beforehand (classic guy move when if comes to haircuts). I was pleasantly surprised to see how low the price was. ($24 plus tip). I had also 0 mins wait time which was nice.

“ This business closes down one of it outlets, and expects me (a customer) to travel many miles to make use of my prepaid MVP card. It keeps sending me promotional emails, but did not have the decency to advise me that they were closing down their Toronto Bayview branch when I last patronized the branch or via their promotional emails…. It does not offer to refund the unused value of the already prepaid card, nor does it offer to pay my transport costs to their other still open branches in order to use up my card… It seems that this business wants to “have its cake and eat it….” Follow up… After several emails complaining to SportClips Support, I received a phone call from “the owner” of the closed franchise. He said he would send me a check in refund, by Friday. Two Fridays have passed. No Cheque. They took my money, and that’s it… In reply to a further email from me SportClips Support said “compensation” had been dispatched to me, and I would be getting a further phone call from the “owner.” That was 2 days ago. No phone call, no compensation… Stay away from this business or any of their franchises….if that is how they treat customers…”

I took my kids yesterday (Feb 21st) for a haircut, they’re 11 and 14 years of age. Unfortunately it was only when I got home that I noticed how poorly their haircut had been done; it looked like something done in a rush, with no care or attention whatsoever. Their haircut is uneven from every angle you look, it seems that certain spots were never touched... very very poor skills really. We’re very disappointed. If you care about detail and your appearance, this is not the place to go.

My brother went to get a fade on the sides. Absolutely no fade done. Haircut was uneven near his ears, hairline was higher on one side. Mohawk was so uneven it was visible. Didn’t realize the extent of it until he got home.
