Found our new place! My 6 year old son doesn't like getting his hair cut, he is a sensory kid and is nervous about having people he doesn't know touch him. 5 minutes of him sitting with Vince and it was like they knew each other for years. Vince made my son so comfortable that when he was done Vince got a big hug from my son. Thank you. See you all again soon.

They were VERY accommodating seeing as I didn't call ahead (covid policies most places) and I didn't do an online check in. Didn’t question my choice in haircut. I went from fairly long to extremely short! Erin was fantastic and enthusiastic and she listened to what I wanted! There was absolutely no pressure to buy products from them (I did though because the product she used smelled FANTASTIC) They will absolutely get my business again!

Wish i could give 100 stars. This place is awesome. All the stylists are amazing. Courtney by far is the best. She's only the only one i let touch my hair. Been going to her since she started her career. She has always done a fantastic job. All the stylists are fun to talk to and i always enjoy their fun conversations. Prices also can't be beat.

We had couple bad experiences in Barrie South location, seems like they don't want work always eager to go home and never had time to take customer even 3 hours prior to close, same thing happen two weeks earlier when we there 2 hours earlier to close and same story again we decided to call Barrie North location and such a nice lady Courtney picked the phone she was happy to take us for hair cut, even we lives in Southern end of Barrie but was worth driving to Bayfield location, Courtney does amazing job of our hair cuts, she is professional, amazing service by Courtney, Way to go

I put off writing a review for this place because I really though if I just waited, my hair would grow out and it would be fine but it's been two months and I still have the worst haircut I've ever recieved from a professional. When I got to this location I waited almost 15 minutes before the stylist even acknowledged that I was there. I showed her pictures of what I wanted. It was short but I've always had shot hair and that's how I like my hair. She didn't listen and gave me some kind of undercut instead. It isn't parted straight and my bangs are completely uneven so I can't even wear it forward now that they've grown out. While I was in the chair, the stylist also made rude comments about my previous haircut and my ability to style my own hair. All around this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hair salon and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. :(

The people were nice and the atmosphere was friendly but the haircut wasn’t good. I went in few days ago for an inch haircut and the woman cut off 3 inches. When it was time to blow dry(yes, I paid the extra fee) she left my hair half wet and frizzy. She did not apply any product whatsoever and left me embarrassed of my hair for the rest of the day. After I arrived home I had to rewash and dry my hair. This salon is not accommodating for those with curly hair. Thank you.

I always go to Courtney to get my hair done. She makes me feel so comfortable with the easy conversation and laughs. She as always did a great job on my cut and colour. Had my hair done by Lisa and let me tell u she did an amazing job! Full head of highlights I wanted to go blonder and she did exactly that but made it look natural and not brassy at all! I was hesitant because I only let one other do my hair and she really did a great job ! 100% will be back !

Came in about 2-3 weeks ago got a girl names Jessica to shave the back on my head and asked her to do a simple design but she didnt know how to do it (thats fine i understand) but later that night i was looking at it and it was uneven and not centered i called and was told thst i cant get my money back and that the jessica girl would have to fix it for free but i wasnt letting her touch my head. after sitting in the chair for over an hour for the worst hair cut ever and not able to get my 25 dollars back is ridicules i DO NOT RECOMMEND HER!!!

Unfortunately I can't give this a zero. They don't do what they're asked they never complete what is supposed to be done if you have a complaint you're wrong. Not only that they start to cut a 2 year olds hair the two year old is nervous and wants to sit on his parents lap and they get all upset and refused service and insults you and kick you out of the store. So inappropriate and unprofessional it is unbelievable the incompetence and inability to deal with a situation maturely especially with a child is beyond unacceptable. Use this salon at your own risk

Website states that this location (in the south walmart) close at 8pm. We arrived tonight at moments after 7pm. There was only one employee on duty, sitting with her coats in the chair beside her and occupied with her cellular device. She stated that the store closes at 8:00pm and that she doesn't have time to cut my 2 childrens hair. I pointed out that its now 7:08 and wondered if she could possibly fit my oldest in as he would be receiving just a buzz cut. She said no that she has already tidied up her station for the night and won't be taking any more clients. Super frustrating.

A little coaching. I attended early this evening about 6 pm . Was greeted by one of the staff , there was nobody getting a haircut at that time. Was promptly told they could not cut my hair as previous appointments had been made . I kind of made a gesture with my hands to say ok . The young lady did say she was sorry. 20 minutes later when we left wal Mart she was sitting alone in one of the chairs . Maybe next time she could ask what kind of cut I would like . A number 2 all around it would of taken 15 minutes at most . I have had great experiences here in the past . This location and the stylist lost out on the hair cut and tip . Most likely will not use location again . I hope the appointment showed !!

This review is about MAPLEVIEW Location. Wish I could give a 5 star review... the atmosphere was amazing, hair stylists were extremely welcoming and friendly. My biggest issue was the girl I had wouldn't listen, she just kinda did her own thing even after I showed her a picture of how I wanted it to be cut... even asked if we could shorten the front more and got asked 'what do you mean?' .. I now have a HORRIBLE haircut that I did it ask for because I was told it would 'shorten up and look different as it dried up' other then that this place was great and fair price. I was just discouraged.

This is my second time here and I must say I'm giving them a 5 star! Both times I was attended by Hilary and she's simply awesome. My first visit about 2 months back for a cut and she did it just the way I want it. I only had a wash and blow dry today and she's very attentive to it too. My daughter went here and her hair was longer on one side than the other!! When she called back the manager said to come in and she would correct it, when she got there the hair cutter that did the cut said it was because we parted her hair in a different way.... What does that have to do with getting a hair cut, also manager didn't even deal with it it was the first person that F'd it in the first place..... I would recommend going anywhere else for this service

Went there to get a haircut. Lady told me I had to only wait 20 mins. There was 1 person the she was serving. In the meantime, I decide to do shopping at Walmart for exactly 20 mins. I came back afterwards, and she was seating another person right when I got there. I asked her "how long do I have to wait again?" she said to me another 20 mins. Absolutely Ridiculous. Why do you ask somebody to wait 20 mins and then when they arrive on time ask them to wait another 20 mins? DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE, IT WAS THE CHICK WITH TATTOOS TOP TO BOTTOM!
