It's a very chill, laid back environment. I went in for a simple hair cut and the attention to detail was over the top. When most barbers would say "good enough" these guys take it the next step by going over every spec of your hair to make sure it's perfect. Make sure you bring extra money to tip them well, you're gonna want to.

From what I could see, these Barbers are extremely talented at doing young trendy cuts. The Precision is unbelievable. The downside is to be prepared to wait an eternity. After two and a half hours I ended up just walking out as each person is in the chair at least an hour to an hour and a half and after waiting all that time there were still 3 ahead of me. Great work, but I just couldn't justify spending an entire afternoon in the waiting room to get my haircut. It's walk-in only and no appointments. The other thing I will mention that was a turn off was their lack of sanitary precautions and procedures, the kind I have witnessed at other barber shops such as Maverick in the Georgian Mall. Their sanitary practices are outstanding.

Terrible experience, I waited 3 hours to get a hair cut I will regret for a long time, WOULD NOT RECCEMOND, it’s not worth the wait, money, or experience. I definitely will not be going again, I also believe the man that cut my hair was not fluent in English, which did not help

A hidden gem. I’ve been trying a few places in Barrie over the past few months and I thought I’d give this place a try. The barbers at this shop ended up giving me the best cut I’ve had in years. A nice view and a very laid back environment goes hand in hand with the amazing work they do at this shop. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting an amazing cut for an even better price.

It's a nightmare living in a town where there are limited to zero black barbershops where a gal can go get a serious haircut. But, I found one and I'm oh-so happy. Barber-In-A-Box is a very small barbershop, with two young barbers, in Barrie, if you can make an appointment the do so, but I was very happy with the work.

Barber in a box is a great location to get you style up your life. It is located right at Five Points downtown Barrie and occupies a large and uniquely designed Building, very nice architecture. The customer service and quality of my haircut was amazing. It is owned and operated locally which is good for the economy as well lol :) ... Definitely worth checking out if your in the area and feel like changing your style.
