Had an amazing experience with Courtney today!! I went in with limp flat straight hair and came out with a textured long bob. Exactly what i asked for! Everything was perfect, both girls were super nice, we didn't stop chatting the whole way through. A wonderful experience for a really great price. Thank you Courtney! I will definitely be back for a colour in the near future :)

I did not have an appointment and just walked in after a quick internet research. Without hesitation a men's haircut was possible anyway. I went to Aliscia at the Hair company for my wedding day, as recommended by my photographer for the event! I could not be more happy. I requested my hair down, and a natural look as far as makeup went. Aliscia delivered exactly to my requests, and was a ton of fun throughout the morning! She was able to set me up for success to battle the incoming snow and moisture throughout the day, lent me an umbrella to get to my car, and was even able to schedule me in for one additional touch up prior to mt ceremony if I needed it. They did such a great job here!

It's been a while since I've had such an amazing haircut. Very professional, cut my short hair exactly as I asked and it came out perfectly. The sign of someone who is very skilled and passionate in what they do! I'm glad I've found someone I can return to in the future! Highly recommend.

Was in Banff for a wedding just before Christmas & desperately needed a wash & blow wave after discovering the tiny hair dryer at the hotel wasn't up to the task. I phoned & got an appointment nice and quick. The salon was easy to find as it's centrally located in downtown Banff. I had a lovely hairdresser who was also a fellow Kiwi (I'm sorry but I've forgotten her name but I think it may have been Sarah? Apologies if I've got this wrong). She did an amazing job & I felt bad for having to put a hat on to go out in the snow & cover up the lovely job she did. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great experience at this salon. I was the "mother of the groom" part of a bridal party this past Saturday. Everyone was treated wonderful and came out looking beautiful. The makeup was done tastefully and not that "heavy" look that sometimes you get. I felt like a princess and my hair held up over night for day two with only slight alterations. Thank you. :)

So so happy with my experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I was lucky enough to see Aliscia, who greeted me warmly the moment I walked in. I was reluctant to find a new stylist but after my experience, she has gained a new lifelong client! I really appreciated the 30 min consultation to start with as I felt like she really took the time to understand my needs! I'm very particular and she gained my full trust. She not only managed to meet my expectations, but fully exceed them. Sarah and Sarah (forgive me if it's Sarah minus the H) both did an amazing job for my wedding photos. I didn't do what I was supposed to, which was have photos of what I wanted, but they patiently looked at pinterest with me, listened, and worked their magic. Both hair, and make-up Sarahs were very precise in doing their work. The eyeliner was perfect, the braids were perfect, and all of it held up until it was time for photos hours later. Thank you so much! Hair Sarah was able to give me the braids I wanted, even though all the photos I showed her was of people with long hair, and mine is quite short. I am still so impressed! Tip for people getting makeup done, bring a photo of how you usually do your makeup, I think they asked me to do this, but I was kind of freaking out pre-wedding. Makeup Sarah was very patient when I was trying to describe my preferences. She was able to to things exactly the way I asked because she is awesome, and a good listener. I highly recommend The Hair Company!!

I had a hair appointment at 9am today to get my hair done for my wedding. I had made the appointment 3 weeks prior. The stylist did not show up on time, try to call to say they would be late, nothing. I tried calling a few times, and eventually left the still closed salon at 9:30am. At 10:40, I finally got a call back saying they were sorry that they arrived late and they could still “try to fit me in” if I came back. Brutal and appalling service. Would not recommend booking here if you are on a schedule, as we were supposed to start photos at noon. My fiancé had an appointment at 10am as well which the stylist did not bother to show up for. I had heard weddings were stressful, but did not expect this level of discourtesy to not even call to let us know that they would be late.

I provided her with little direction but when she was done it felt as if she knew exactly what kind of look I wanted to achieve for my wedding day! I was referred here from local woman in Banff, she deals with this company a lot with her business and i have to say from the minute i walked in to the minute i walked out (1 hour after closing) I had the best time, experience, treatment and my hairdresser Kat was AWESOME!!!! We chatted the entire time, i felt right at home and so comfortable. My hair was 5 months overdue, Kat gave my hair 200% of her talent, we altered it slightly at the end, Kat gave me some education and products for home and i couldn't be happier!! :-) I was the last client to leave an hour after closing time purely cause i didn't want to! Money well spent!! Locals discount, very reasonable pricing! x

I went there for an eyebrow wax this weekend. I phoned ahead of time to make an appointment, not knowing they were not set up to do it. Im not even sure if the girl who did my eyebrows had ever done it before. Both ladies I thought were very unprofessional and as a result I left very dissatisfied.
