Went to this place after reading good reviews. But was a wrong decision. Very slow, unprofessional. Just asked him to make my hair shorter and he did a very lousy job (uneven cut). I look like a clown now! Not sure what he was trying to do as I did not even have a fancy styling request, just needed a simple haircut! Apart from this, one of the young barber had lots of friends visiting there and it smelled like weed in the salon. Worst haircut I have ever had and yet most expensive! Don't recommend this place.

Worst haircut I've ever had unfortunately! No attempt made to blend the sides into the top, just shaved then long! Hair on top varies in lenght by an inch or more! Had to trim the sides myself when i got home, long hair left behind my ears and neck! Should of known when the whole haircut was done facing away from the mirror! That's a first for me.

Went here based on the reviews and decent price. Receptionist was really nice and helpful. Let me leave a number to call for when I was nearing my appointment as I was walking in on a Saturday. Got a barber who didn't know what he was doing. His tools weren't cleaned and still had hair all over from previous customers. We kept it quiet during the haircut as I don't like the small talk so that's a plus but when he was done and showed the back of my head for me to see and I saw he failed to cut the neck line at all. It looked so untidy. I asked if he could cut it and the response I got back was "oh you want the neck line cut too?". I didn't think it was uncommon to cut the neck line but never had issues before at other barbers. Overall, not the best place and won't be back nor will I recommend to a friend or family member.

Brought my son here for a haircut. He freaked out so bad during his previous cuts at another spot so I tried this right after I got my own haircut. I have just received my 5th hair cut from Walker's Barber Shop and every one has been spot on. 4 out of the 5 cuts I received were from different barbers. They ask what you're looking for. You give them an idea of the hair cut you want and 10 minutes later you're looking fresh as ever. It gets very busy at times but they still manage to put you in a chair in a timely manner. They also offer to give you call when they are ready for you, giving you the liberty to go shop around. And to top it all off, the people are great, the prices are great and music is bumpin'

I recently started growing my hair out after 20 years of shaving and decided to visit this location because of the reviews. I was greeted promptly and politely by the young woman at the front and directed to get my haircut by Dwayne. My experience starts with his back to me and slapping his chair directing me to sit down. I walked up, said "hello" and the reply was "uh huh" without making eye contact. I explain that I want my sides and back shaved with a fade and the top left untouched. Once the cut started I was spun aggressively from side to side, he was extremely rough with the clippers and was practically scrapping my head the entire time and even managed to stab my head a few times with the corner edge of the blade. At one point he took a call with the phone in one hand and the clipper in the other and continued to cut. I really felt that I was being rushed out the door and the less then discrete conversation between the staff about closing up early if no one else walked in the door confirmed it. Overall, Dwayne gave me the cut I asked for but I was disappointed that he left me with small patches of hair on my side burns. Fading should have included into my stubble beard. It looked ridiculous and showed obvious poor attention to detail. I would never base my decision not to return to a business based on my experience with one person but this barber should be avoided.

Update 4 star: I went there multiple times now and I am completely satisfied with them. Maybe I was wrong on my first try because of miscommunication but since that, every cut I had was good! Old 1 star: Asians hair are different and unfortunately, the guy who took care of my hair wasn’t that great with scissors. Not going back again. $21 wasted and I don’t really like my hair right now. It's is a great place to go for a haircut and the prices are really good. The staff there are amazing and actually take the time on their clients and satisfy their needs. It is an amazing environment. If you decide on trying the place out I recommended Armin as he does an amazing job and will make you look crisp. He is real sharp when it comes to the work and really leaves you with a good experience. He can properly do whatever it is you want with no hesitation and will have you leaving the store looking really crisp.

$28 dollar haircut to get an uneven cut, from someone who wasn't listening to what I asked for (2 inches on top, 1 inch on the sides - and he pulled out the electric razor and shaved down below 1cm on the sides and I had to stop him before doing the top). I also got cuts from the razor all long my head from points where he made trims. Can pay much less for a better haircut almost anywhere else. Not recommended.

Ive looked everywhere for a barbershop and ive never seen any barbershop who was so dedicated and who take their time to satisfy their customers, the second i walked in i knew that it was the perfect place. the place is clean, the barbers are fresh, some guy is wearing fresh ovo 12's and i guarantee everybody who walks in there will come back and I guarantee everybody who is reading this that you will not be dissapointed and that it will be the best barbershop you went to in your life. Also They Sell gel and wax for cheap so go get yourself a cut, beard trim with hot towel and buy yourself some gel or wax that has a high hold and it works in a dry or wet look. Also they accept walk-ins. They cut any style of hair and they always do it so perfect. Ive went to alot of barbershops and they always messed up cutting my hair the way i want it, but at walkers finest barbershop they cut it perfectly and to be honest they cut it better than the way you want it. They will not stop until your satisfied and their customer service is great. I walked in this place and I saw a guy sleeping on the job, I basically woke him up for service. Guess what he was going to cut my hair and no way I felt comfortable or even trusted to let this person touch me. I only had bad haircuts so far in this place: the first time, one guy had cut way too much hair on top of my forehead, the second time it was an average haircut, the third time it was with Walker, who cuts just the sides and not the top and then he finished, I then told him I need also the top cut, he was very surprised when I told him that!! Is it somehow unusual to have a complete haircut and not just the sides??? I asked him at the end that I would like to have some gel, he was then so rude and told me I already have some on my hair. What a bad customer service!!! The fourth time , I scheduled an appointment with Walker, but when I went there he was not even working that day and they did not bother calling me and telling me he would not be available. So I ended up having my hair cut by a young guy, who then cuts my hair on the sides and in the back to the level 0 (it was bold) without telling me and DESPITE showing him at the beginning a picture of the cut I need, it was just VERY BAD. So, don't waste your time going there, You'll regret it.

Walker himself gives amazing haircuts, but even if you book an appointment with him, there's a good chance he just won't show up for it, and then you're stuck with one of the junior barbers who are pretty sloppy and don't really know how to do a fade. Came here because of all the positive reviews on Google and was not disappointed. Got Josh who was very friendly, patient and skilled. I wanted to change my look but didn't know what to get, Josh offered up some good suggestions and even gave me some styling tips when he was done. Normally my skin fade takes 15 min, but the barber Trey spent 45min (sept 18 around 5:45pm) making sure it was perfect. He gave me one of the best haircuts ive ever gotten, super awsome, chill experience , everyone from the front staff to the other barbers were awesome. Will be back specifically because of the service I recieved from him. The staff know what they're doing, best place I've been in the city. Do yourself a favour and go here for your next haircut.

Definitely recommended. I've been to all the other barbers in Barrhaven, so I can say with confidence that Andel (owner) and his team (Mark and Armin) are the best barbers in Barrhaven. They provide quality haircuts with modern styles. Unlike other barbers, they don't hastily rush through your haircut in less than 10-15 minutes; expect a cut to take 30 mins+ because of their attention to detail. Great atmosphere as well.

They take walk ins Minday to Sunday and bookings Mon to saturday. making an appointment is advised but in the event that you are a walk in their management waitlist is top notch and considerate.

Terrible. My husband took my 3 year old and he waited almost an hour to be seen. My son had a longer boy style and we just wanted it cleaned up (trimmed) and my husband never asked for it to be shaved anywhere! He took the buzzer to it at the back right up the middle and it was too late to save his regular style. The guy did a horrible job and was pushy and didn't listen to what my husband said he wanted. He never told him to give him a completely different look! It honestly looks like a Mr.Bean bowl cut! It's awful and doesn't fit with his face shape. I would not recommend them if your sons have longer hair and you want it to remain that way. First choice did a better job. I am very disappointed as I read positive reviews and was hopeful.

Let me start off by saying I’ve had Haircuts/Fades in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and of course Ottawa. Out of all the places I’ve had a cut, this place is by far the best place I’ve been to. I bring my little brothers here too and we all get treated like we are apart of the Walkers Finest Family. Upon entering, you get a friendly greeting from the barbers as well from the receptionist. The atmosphere is amazing as they have music playing but not to loudly where you can’t talk to the barbers. Myself and my brothers get our fades/cuts from Dwayne who is a very friendly and has a great sense of humour. You know that a barbershop is good when the staff is all laughing and making jokes with everyone and treating everyone the same. Dwayne is very particular with his cuts as he takes his time to make sure you look good before leaving his chair and if you happen to leave and notice something isn’t right with your cut then definitely you can walk right back in and it will be corrected. If you want a relax/fun place to get a cut then definitely go here otherwise if you want a business/professional type of environment where people talk like they have a stick up their butt then go to a salon. As well as showing the barber how much hair i wanted taken off the top he failed to do so almost leaving me bald not at all taking into consideration that i physically showed him what i wanted taken off my head. After seeing good reviews I decided to try this barber shop. Booked an appointment online for 4pm and arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. Only 2 customers ahead of me and one left before getting a haircut. I waited 50 minutes and when the barber I had the appointment with was done he asked me to wait for the other barber so I left. Very slow service and I don't understand why they offer appointments since you have to wait as long as if you walk-in.
