I've tried a few barbers but honestly this place is by far the best. Ever since finding it i only go there! It's by appointment so it's a quick in and out and the cuts are always PERFECT (i get cut by Jasmine btw she's the best). The rest of the staff is also great (Angelike who's at the front always puts a great vibe).

Very expensive for a simple mans hair cut. Seemed like the hair stylist were not in the mood of working, did everything with bad mood and the only thing asked, to even out the hair wasn’t done properly and didn’t even bring me the mirror to look all around, when I got home noticed that there was a hole on the back. I had to have another hair cut somewhere else after that, not coming back.

Had the chance to visit Jasmine today. The booking was easy and the place easy to find. Only downside is finding parking as all street have reserved signs. Nonetheless, place is super clean and staff is very welcoming. Jasmine also is a great barber. She understood right away the type of hairstyles I was looking for even if it's our first rendezvous. Highly recommended barbershop with skillful artist.

My cut lasted 15 minutes broke everything, and I pay without thinking too much, I put my tip on the shelf and then I leave. When I got home I realized that it was expensive so I called the salon who told me that the base price was not 35doll but 40doll because the price depends on the barber. Ok but then you have to say it before you cut because the cut suddenly cost me 53doll with the 15 percent tip. Honestly for spending 15 minutes on a guy’s head I find it expensive. I wouldn't go anymore because I wasn't taken for a rookie. Too bad because I am new to Montreal and I go twice by myself to the hairdresser. This practice is unprofessional at all. It is not for 5doll but it is really for the principle in fact (Original) Je prend rendez vous , sur le site internet il est indiqué que le tarif est de 35doll. Great place & cool vibe for a haircut! Angelike has been the only one to cut my hair since I started going there a few months ago. She's the best kept secret of Maison Privee! I keep on getting compliments on my haircuts, right after the cut and weeks after the cut.

Best barber shop in town. Jasmine is extremely talented. Make sure to book ahead of time because she’s very busy. On the plus side, it takes 30 minutes instead of an hour like the other barbershop and it’s not compromising he quality.

Maison Privée located in Griffintown hosts a ambient and modern salon. I was in luck to find a same day appointment with Velvet the Barber (Cathy). Her scissor work made for a solid shape up that places itself naturally with my hair type. Conversation flowed easy with Cathy, will definitively be going back.

Staff was friendly but the person who cut my hair ruined them. I didn't realize as it happened since she said she knew what she was doing and I trusted the staff. Only really saw the dammage once my hair had dried later on. Never going back there. Definitely don't recommend.

$45 for a man haircut at a barber and on top of that I had to rearrange it myself as it was uneven... the place is nice and clean but honestly expensive and the guy did not talk to me at all and was on the phone definitely not work related while cutting my hair. For the price I would have expected a coffee or a least a glass of water to be offered. I give it the benefit of a doubt as all other comments are positive so I might have been with the wrong barber at the wrong time.
