Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. Wanted a basic fade. Even six weeks later, it still hasn’t grown in and looks messed up. The little feller cut my hair in such an f-Ed up way that even after six weeks it still looks f-ed up. Have gotten comments like “interesting haircut dude” or “trying a new style?” 0/10 would not recommend

Called ahead and was told about a half hour wait, showed up and was told wait wouldn't be long, so I put my name on the list. Waited a full hour and still never got called, had to leave without a cut. Got a call from them about a half hour later saying I was next. Might have been a good cut if I had time to wait all day. I won't be back.

63 minutes and counting. I’m still sat here. Sat down at 11:24 it’s now 12:28 with no end in sight. There’s 4 barbers here and was only 4 ahead of me. Between them taking people who’s only there for them and them taking so long for a haircut I might get out of here by 1:30. Me and my 2 boys have been coming here for our hair cuts since they left the mall. Guess it’s time to go back there.

This shop is a close spin off of central Barbers in the Avalon mall. I used to see Barry there and he would remember me and the cut I would get every time. Suddenly one day I went in and heard he had started his own shop. After some searching I finally found out Straight Edge was it. All their staff are wonderful and as much as I enjoy getting Barry I would see anyone else there as well. When you walk in just add your name to the wait list and you can even request the stylist you want. Prices are $16 normally or $15 for students. I usually just throw them a $20, because they deserve it. Sometimes the wait can be long, but that’s only a good sign - people are obviously willing to wait around for a quality haircut at a good price.

But I figured if I was going to leave a professional review, I should change it, so here I am. Straight Edge Barbers, the most relaxed, easy going, bestkind staff that work here. I have followed Chris Butt specifically from Centeral in the Avalon Mall, have been seeing him for a solid 4 years now or so. Barry, & Linda, also very kind, funny, and friendly people as well. Always has a laugh when I go in to get what I need to get done. The big bonus in all of this, is that the prices couldn't be more perfect. Keep up the hard work you guys, you all friggen rock ????

Probably the best Barbershop I’ve ever been too. Authenticate barber-shop feel with a sense of community and barbers who actually know what they’re doing. The value is unbeatable, they actually should be charging more. Both Barry and Linda have a long history of barbering and it shows with what they’ve created here. Don’t be tempted by other more expensive Barbers focusing on just their image, you won’t find better then this crowd. No frills needed, just amazing cuts, every single time.

Showed up 10 min early. Asked to wait in car. After 30 min in the car, I went back in to see what the delay was. They put me in the chair, waited another 15 min before being told the barber left for the rest of the morning. Pretty unimpressed. Owner was there as well, didn't seemed phased by this.

This was my first experience with a barbershop. Barry was able to finally give me the haircut that I've been trying to get from a hair salon for the past couple of years.
