My son and I decided to check out this out this new neighbourhood barbershop and upon opening the door were pleasantly surprised to see the friendly face of John (who had cut our hair previously at another barbershop). John and his brother Joe are nice guys who have opened up their own shop and take great pride in their craft. The shop is sleek and clean with some retro chairs. Most importantly, the haircuts are great and these guys are as sharp as their scissors.

As well as being within a short walk from my house, Joe and John provide detailed, friendly, courteous and prompt services, and throughout the pandemic have always worn masks. Always enjoy visiting while in their chairs. Their shop is always neat and tidy, and has a great modern look, along with several television monitors. While I have not had to book an appointment (always been fairly lucky at getting in right away or after a short wait) I notice from Google, that they have an appointment booking site. A full five stars and thumbs up from me!

This is one of the few barber shops I've been to where they are genuinely trying to earn your business. I've been going to John for a few years now getting a short head shave and a beard trim. Not only is the standard service exceptional and professional, but he and his team also provide extra perks such as face steamers, scented towels and face massagers. Every time I go in (and that is every two weeks) there is something new in the shop that John is excited to tell me about. I have seen super sophisticated, modern hair cuts; superb beard trims; more traditional, standard cuts; and plenty of kids getting super cool trims - basically, whatever the customer is looking for, these guys can do it. I'm lucky they're in my neighbourhood, but even if they weren't, I'd drive for it. You should too - you won't be disappointed.

They offer a wide range of services including shaves and plucking which are expected from a modern barber shop and nowadays needs. Owners John and Joey are very courteous and always on top of their client’s needs and will always give you a good advise on what hairstyle is best for your specific forms and shapes, how to style it at home, etc. A very clean, well designed shop. This is my first time in Calgary that I go to cut my hair. I just showed John the picture of one of their customers, and he cut my hair exactly as the picture. You will get the best fade in Calgary in there as quick as possible. John and Joe are both nice men, and I suggest everyone to go there and see that these reviews are all real.

I'm not one for haircuts personally, I don't like them and wait months until I absolutely need one. That being said I came here for the first time today and they are the best barbers in Calgary. John was extremely nice and genuine. It was the most comfortable haircut ive ever had and I will definitely be a customer for years to come. The business is very nice and clean. He gave me a large jar of free hair product and it was a great experience in general. Come here for talented barbers and top of the line customer service. I don't usually leave positive reviews but this business deserves a higher rating than 5 stars.

I want to start this off with: I NEVER leave Google reviews. But. I went to Trosa barber because it was close to me and offered a reasonably priced haircut. What I didn't expect was the customer service and genuineness of my experience. John (i think that is how you spell it) was my barber and was pleasant from the moment I walked in. I have a fairly high maintenance hair cut but he knew exactly what I wanted from the start. He talked of his family passion for hair styling and cutting and really showed his skill. He has very interesting stories about his families heritage and experiences which he spoke of while very quickly cutting through my mop of a head. The haircut I got was the cleanest fade I've ever had. Literally artwork in hair if I may say so. This barber shop is family owned and operated, him and his brother Joe are one of the most passionate barbers within calgary and really show it. To top it all off before I left John gave me a complementary jar of hair wax as a thank you for visiting his shop. I am 25 years old and am fairly shallow, I pride myself on my haircut and these guys delivered tenfold. If I could give them more than a 5 star review I would. If you are in need of a quality haircut at a bellow average rate. I highly highly recommend this place.

This is easily one of the best barbershops in Calgary. The staff here are incredibly talented, and they know what they're doing, and more importantly, they take pride in giving you the best haircut. I got my haircut yesterday by John, and he took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. If you're looking for a shape-up or a fade or anything, you owe it to yourself to give this place a chance. It's tough to find a professional who is passionate about what he does, and I was lucky enough to discover the barbershop I was looking for years where I can come regularly and be sure to get a quality haircut.
