I took our 2 sons to see Alex and could not be happier with the outcome/service. It was the little ones first haircut, Alex was so great with him. Being 1 years old he isn’t a fan of sitting still, Alex was gently, quick and gave him the exact hair cut I was hoping for.

Not sure how the other barbers are but the one I got was shown a picture of myself, from my last haircut at another barber. I let him know that was exactly what I wanted. I provided clear instructions of how I like my hair with a picture. The barber tried to get me to second guess every statement I made. He insulted my last barber (who did exactly what I asked for) which is an insult to my personal style as well. He was also sexist; twice he said it must have been a woman who cut my hair. He then 'educated' me on how my hair was cut incorrectly before proceeding to give me exactly his own haircut. I'm sorry, I didn't ask to look like you. I'm not interested in your style. I have hated how I look since visiting this place because he absolutely ruined the cut I spent a year trying to grow out properly. I will be going back to my previous barber across the city to fix what the barber down the street did. Worst haircut experience I've ever had and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Came here for the first time the day before my wedding for a beard clean-up. The gentlemen here politely (but firmly) recommended a haircut as well - the last hair dresser I had elsewhere didn't do a very good job. They showed me why and what to look for and gave me a complimentary bottle of beard oil at the end as a wedding gift. Special shout out to Omar, will definitely be returning! Thanks guys

I've been looking for a new barber shop closer to home, thank god I found Mr Barber in the Hamptons. Service is exceptional, all the barbers there make you feel incredibly welcome from the second you walk in. The shop's decor is very clean and warm, and they even have a nice refreshment fridge for soft-drinks/water while you wait. My number one guy there is Max, very professional and friendly, always takes his time and makes sure I am completely satisfied. But everyone there is pretty good too because I see clients request certain barbers there all the time when i visit. Also, the hours are freaking awesome, they close at 8 which gives most people time to get off work and get a clean haircut.

It’s awkward to have the barber cut your hair the take payment... just a suggestion.

I've been to Mr. Barber in the Hamptons twice now, both times I was greeted by the friendly staff when I came in, offered a cold drink and informed of the approximate wait. Both times they didn't leave me waiting longer than they said they would. My first cut was done by Terry. He was friendly, professional and gave me the best haircut I've ever had in my life. It was the first time I got home and looked in the mirror and thought "Damn, that's a nice haircut!" My second visit was with Alex. I told him about Terry's excellent work and warned him he had big shoes to fill. Alex was up to the challenge and I walked out of there with a cut every bit as good as Terry's. I've seen a lot of reviews praising Max's skills, but if he's busy don't worry about who you're getting instead. It doesn't matter what chair you're in these guys are going to do an excellent job and treat you like family from the moment you walk in. These dudes deserve 10 stars.

Last night was the 3rd time I got my haircut at Mr. Barber. My friend recommended them to me. It’s rare that I ever leave the barber’s chair without noticing a mistake or something that I don’t like, but this has happened for the third time with Alex. I have never noticed a mistake or something that I don’t like when he cuts my hair. He gets my haircut right every time. The place is very warm and welcoming, Alex is a very professional guy and extremely respectful. I highly recommend it!

I booked a last minute appointment for my 2 year old nephew to get his hair cut for the first time at a barber shop. I took him to Mr. Barber and was 100% expecting him to have a tantrum and lose it on me. Buttttt to my pleasant surprise, Alex managed to get him in the chair, apron on, cut and line his hair (and forehead - little guy had a hairy forehead), and without a single peep from my nephew to boot. We were out of there in 15 mins! His haircut looked so cute and perfect on him! I had no idea what I wanted to do with his hair and asked Alex to do whatever he thinks would look good. He delivered. My little dude looked so handsome and had a great first experience. Alex and the entire staff were so professional and kind. Definitely our go to from now on. :)

Love this barber shop! Every time I come here they treat me like family. They make sure to ask how I'm doing and they're always very polite, helpful and accommodating. The shop is always clean, the wait is never long and the banter is always great. Most important to me, the cuts are always top notch and the price is very reasonable. I've been going here for almost 2 years and I'm always very happy with my hair and the whole experience. Sam, Alex, Terry and the entire team are also doing an exceptional job during these crazy covid times by making sure the whole shop including the doors, counters, chairs and equipment are wiped down very regularly. They all wear masks, practice social distancing as much as possible and are taking every precaution they can to keep you safe. Can't recommend this place enough, best barber shop I've ever been to!

Alex always comes through with a clean cut and makes himself available even on short notice. He puts a lot of attention with every single hair and does not rush his work even though it's fast. In and out in 20 minutes but the work looks like he took an hour!

I wasn't at the barbers today when my son got his haircut but when he came home, me being a picky momma wasn't satisfied with his cut. I had only heard great things about the new Mr. Barber that just opened so I didn't hesitate to call. When I called they passed the phone to Alex. Alex was not the one Who cut my son's hair the first time but didn't hesitate to tell me bring him back anytime and he would do his best to fix his hair to how I wanted it. My son is leaving out of town this afternoon and I am working so when my son went back Alex called me and let me explain how I wanted it. I did and Alex delivered a beautiful hair cut on my son. He understood everything I wanted and he went beyond to make sure me and my son were both satisfied. I couldn't be happier with the service we recieved and how understanding they were. I will be bringing my son's there every 2 weeks to get their haircuts. I will also tell everyone how great the service was. Alex you have 2 very satisfied customer!

This place is great. I'm very slow to switch barber's but I had to because my previous stylist stopped due to covid. So happy because Mr. Barber is way better than my last place was and has given me cuts I'm way happier with. I now have 2 guys from here I trust on my hair. My son who is 12 also really likes the cuts he gets here. I also tried a close shave and beard trim for the first time ever and absolutely loved it as a treat. This is my permanent spot as long as my boys stay cutting here.

i just moved to this location. great advertisment online .i thought it would be a great friendly place . but i was surprised . it was not . i asked for a short mohawlk. and i get a standard cut . that i can get from any barber shop for 20bucks . it was my first worst experience at any barber shop . not a welcoming place . its the lessard road location . i m never going to this place. 37bucks for a bad experience . sorry guys train ur staff to be nice before teaching them how to cut hair.

I took my 2 year old to this new barber shop. We were very comfortable with their service. They made us feel welcome and they respected every customer. Very nice plaza. No appointment required. Wheelchair accessible. They open till 8 pm.

Ive been to a lot of different barber shops, and have never left a place so disappointed before. After getting my hair cut buy a gentleman wearing ear buds the entire time, with no conversation during my service, where he then decided to use a straight blade to save my neck. I was surprised to see that I had been cut 17 times on neck, then the gentleman doing the shave, told me that this is normal and still decided to charge me over $50. I get hair cuts ever two weeks and have never been through this before. Save your neck and money and go somewhere else.

My husband has been going to Mr Barber since they opened and he loves it!!! So I always wanted an undercut to get ride of those pesky baby hairs so I decided to try them out and it turned out better then the picture I gave him. The design was amazing! Everyone was super nice (especially since my 21 month old was making hard to get my hair done) they were so professional the shop is super bright and clean.... I mean clean that’s a big ????????. Super awaken place to go!

The reviews for Mr. Barber online are so good that I went to the one across from West Edmonton Mall and unfortunately, my beard was butchered. The young guy that did it didn't seem to know what he was doing. I even showed him a picture on my phone how I wanted it. I told him it was ok but when I left and actually combed it out with a comb, it was completely butchered and uneven all over the place. Now that I am back home, I'll go to my regular barber tomorrow to get it fixed. Really not impressed. Didn't seem like the young guy had a lot of experience doing beards and I should have asked but I just assumed. Bad mistake.

I have never been to another barber shop with all its barbers as perfectionists. Literally each and every one of them are so damn meticulous that each session takes them about an 45 mins to an hour. I sometimes wonder how do they even make money. They are super friendly and cater to their customers needs impeccably. They are so good that one should consider visiting them from as far as Sherwood Park I would say.

Customer service is bar none. Friendly staff, professional and free refreshment as you walk thru the door. Forgive me for forgetting the owner's name but I'll refer to him as a friendly giant. The thing that sticks out with me is he is not afraid to suggest an alternative and better way to do your hair. In my case I'm a fair skinned white guy and he suggested a different way to trim my beard to make it look more fuller and defined as opposed to thin and sparsely. I always leave with a smile.

I can confidently say that both Alex and Max are masters of their craft, ensuring that you get exactly what you came for. This time around I decided to start growing out my beard and Max shaped and trimmed my beard perfectly, I'm very satisfied with their service.
