I moved here from Winnipeg 3 years ago. Went to multiple barber shops when I first got here, and they were all crap. Inexperienced, and over priced. I'm very picky on my hair, and realistically, men's cuts aren't that complicated. Fady does your hair quick, and quality. And I feel like he would have no problem spicing it up, and would get whatever you need done, done. And at a great price with room to throw down a generous tip, because it is deserved. 10/10. I won't go anywhere else now in this city.

Was at Duggan for the first time today. I had my hair cut by Shakeeba. I was a bit concerned as she was not my typical man barber. But she did an amazing job. I will ask for her next time I’m in. I live in Calgary but am here most weeks for work. I think I have my new favourite barber. I will be waiting to get to Edmonton for my cuts from now on Great value but you need to bring cash. Don’t forget to buy their $5 hair culture brush. Works great for brushing or just gettIing a good head scratch in the shower.

Great value and a great first cut with Sue! Easy to talk to by making an effort to get to know her client. I'm definitely coming back. Only thing is that hours are not conducive to people working during the day. Will you consider having one or two days a week where you shift your hours later in the day so you're open until 8pm? I can almost never make it there during weekdays because I work 9a-5:30p. Considering your busiest times are after 4pm, it would seem that you could be more successful with later hours. Thanks

Over the years, Fadi has cut my hair and even done the blonde highlights. He gets to know his customers and has created a real friendly local hub with lots of community folk who stop in. I always seem to bump into somebody I know. Fadi has other barbers to assist particularly on busy Saturdays but wait times are always reasonable.

Just had a haircut today as Alberta brought out phase one of the economic re-launch. Fadi and his staff are very well prepared to offer their services in a safe way. There are now rigid plastic partitions seperating the waiting area chairs and there is hand sanitizer for use. The staff wear non-medical face masks and any clients without their own are provided a mask for free. Each work station was sanitized between clients and clients had their mask on durring their haircut. The experience felt orderly and safe. But of course it was! Fadi is a professional who cares about his community and knows each of his clients by name. Highly recommended!

It doesn't matter where in the city I am living I'll make the trip to see faddy and his staff which have always provided me with exceptional service and plenty of laughs. I'm a second generation client as my dad has also been a frequent customer, is a very short while I'll be bringing my 18month old twin sons making them the third generation. Prices are reasonable, people are friendly and the location is awesome. Went in and asked if I could get a haircut. Nobody was inside other than two hairstylists. I was told to have a seat since the man I spoke to was trimming his own beard….lol. Once I was called over I showed a picture of what I wanted. he said okay and began. When he was finished the length wasn't close to what i had asked so i asked politely if he could trim the front a bit more and he told me that he was adding style and it would not look as good if he did. I wasn't about to argue about it so I said okay. The cut itself took about 15 minutes at the absolute most and was very simple. When I went to the till he said it would be 30$ and said they only took cash. This seemed pretty steep for how quick of a job it was and I'm not sure if its just my ignorance but I had no idea no cards were accepted so I went and used the ATM across the street. Ended up frustrated and had to trim my hair how I wanted when I got home. Wasted my money completely.

I had a salon who did my hair a few times mess up my hair for my own wedding. Yikes... Duggan Barber Shop has multiple stylists where I can just walk in and be served. Busy times I wait no longer than10 minutes before I'm am in a chair. The service and resultant product is always top notch. I pay at least half the price of other salons where the result is never consistent. Duggan's price is awesome. Even a better plus... the staff at Duggan always remember me and welcome me with a pleasant demure. They somehow knows your name like a long time friend. You want consistency, great service and happy results... this is the place for you. I drive all the way across the city to come here... and I will go no place else.. as do many others of all professions that I know. You will not be disappointed. ????

When I first started getting my haircut there, in the previous, smaller shop, I lived a few blocks away, but even now that I live in the westend, I always make the trek back. I have gone to no other barber shop as when Fadi as alone and now with the others in his larger shop all do a great job. Will do anything you want, simple haircut to the whole spa style. For me it has become what I imagined an old time barber shop was. This is where all are known by their name and regular patrons know each other allowing anything and everything talked about while waiting, which is never that long anyways.
