Every body that works at these shops are absolutely incredible. They know what it means to have customer service and take care of their customers. Both me and my son have been getting our hair done for years. They’ve been cutting my sons hair since he was six months and everyone is so incredibly great with him. The first time I got my hair cut there I almost past out in their chair due to a recent surgery. They took such good care of me I couldn’t think of going anywhere else. We moved to Airdrie, still head into town to see them.

I absolutely love this place! My boyfriend Jaron has been going to them for a very long time by Tarek who does an amazing job. I would highly recommend this place! It is very family friendly and it seems that they never fail to please their customers.

Love these guys! I tried the cheaper places around West Springs but nothing compares to the quality and professionalism delivered by all the barbers. They remember me each time I come in and no matter who I get I always leave happy and looking my best. It may cost a little more than some places but it’s definitely worth it.

I can’t share more praise about this location, their helpfulness and professionalism. Maddy saved my son today from a horrible haircut experience at another place. He was so kind and really took time with my son to fix what was a horrible haircut into something that now looks amazing. He spent a lot of time attending to each detail while also talking to my son. It is clear from being at this location that they really care about the person and I am so grateful that we came in today. Bruh if you’re getting a cut in calgary and it’s not from these guys, you’re doing something wrong. I used to think i was getting awesome haircuts/beard lineups from my old barber, until i came here. made me realize what a REAL barbershop is. These guys are the absolute best in calgary, doesn’t matter who you get. i’ve been 4 times, had a different barber every time. Excellent experience from the moment I walked in. Professional, polite, and helpful for my specific hair questions. My stylist (I forget his name!) was personable, kind, and gave me one of the best haircuts ever. He paid attention to extra details, and made sure I received a luxurious and comforting experience. I now live in Toronto, but made it a point to visit this place for the first time when I visited, I usually visit the Discovery Ridge location. The location is bright, well decorated, and extremely clean.

As someone who has gone to Cutting Edge Barber Shop for about four months now (switched from Great Clips in 2019) I can confidently say the quality of the service offered at this establishment is superb. From the moment you walk into the doors, the atmosphere for a barber shop is apparent. The inside has been decorated very nicely, with a soft radio in the background and it is very clean. Although the waiting times can be a bit brutal especially if there are multiple people there, the haircut itself takes about half an hour. However, the haircut is the best quality you can get and the staff put an insane amount of detail. Furthermore, it does not even feel like half an hour as the staff engages you in conversation and strives to know their customer. My review is mainly going to be about Moe who has done me the favor of cutting my hair countless times. The amount of detail Moe puts into his haircuts cannot be compared to anyone else. He does not just get the job done, he goes the extra mile in ensuring your comfort and making sure you are not bored at all. The entire staff team and in my opinion Moe are exceptionally charismatic and love to interact with people. So much so, that the first time I got my hair cut at Cutting Edge Barber Shop they instantly built customer loyalty and kept me coming back. You will not just be a "customer" in the staff teams eyes, but a member of their family and a friend at this establishment. Good luck with your endeavors you guys! I just stopped in at Maddy and Tarek’s new shop and we talked about how they had been cutting my hair for at least the last 15 years! While being a university student I was unable to always make it to their place in Discovery Ridge but when I did, they always took their time to say hi and catch up. Nothing has changed in the new shop. These guys are the most professional barbers and are second to none in Calgary. They are friendly and will take the time to get to know their regulars but are always welcoming to anyone. They are professional, great with kids, take their time and their work will speak for itself. I have never been more complemented on a haircut than after I go see them. I am happy that the new location is so close to my new place, I’ll be exclusively going to see these guys from now on.

I walked into this place first time in august top-notch clean it was amazing and then I came back again with my child again recently and they made me feel important. asked me constantly if I needed anything else I think it was Alex the nephew. a very professional young man who gave me a clean business haircut. the atmosphere was jokes as well with the guy who cut my hair and my child loved his haircut as well and the candy that came with it. if you need a cut and also to feel good this is the place to do so.

I've been going to Abdi for every haircut for the past couple of months now and there isn't a single flaw in his work, great customer service, extremely friendly, very passionate about his craft and he definitely has gifted talent behind his skill. If I could give this place more stars I would, 11/10 on everything. This is definitely the spot to go to if you want a great cut, I have never left this place unhappy.

These barbers are the absolute best! So friendly and talented. I have been to a number of barbers and have felt out of place or intimidated being a female getting a short cut. I use to go to their other location which is also fabulous, but recently stopped in here as it’s closer to my home. I was so pleasantly surprised and felt so welcome! Eddie/Eddy (not sure about spelling) put a notch in my eyebrow and did a full cut on my husband. He was so kind and calming. It was a fabulous experience. My three year old son watched and had a great time. I absolutely recommend this shop to men and women with shorter cuts. So happy to have come across this team :)
