Heard good things about this shop from a few friends at work so decided to check it out. Never judge a book by it's cover, entering the shop I was quite surprised. The decor is refreshing, fits the name perfectly, and gives that olden day barber shop feeling you see in movies. Was welcomed by the Ali, friendly guy and always a smile on his face. He gives out good vibes, you instantly feel comfortable like you've known him for years. Gives a great hair cut, not slow or fast. As a first time customer he takes his time, gets enough details of what you'd like done with your hair, asks details during the cut. Assessing my haircut, the fade was spot on, beard was perfectly trimmed and cleaned the way I wanted it, and Ali knew some of the problems I have with my hair and helped fixed those annoying little things. Very reasonable prices and something I do like is rewarding loyal customers with a free haircut every 10 haircuts which is something you don't see in the majority of barbershops. Lots of free parking spots, easy to get in and out of the shopping center plus it's real close to the shopping center across the street, drop the wife off for shopping and come enjoy a haircut as I know a lot of us aren't looking forward to watch the wife shop ;) Even better there's a Pizza 73 right beside the shop for a quick slice of pizza if you got a few minutes to wait for your turn.

I was biking from downtown, thinking, "where I can get a good haircut?" I stopped at Capone's. Ali insisted I take by bike inside. He gave me a handshake and quickly proceeded to cut my hair with prowess, after carefully asking what I wanted of course. We decided to do something different from anything I've done before and the results were great. Ali is quick, but he took his time -- top notch service. The space is crisp and relaxing and the price was more than fair. A modern little shop with a flare of tradition.

Turned out to be one of the best clean ups I’ve ever gotten and I was so impressed I had him take this pic so he could do it again the next time. Hidden Gem located in a small strip mall just east of 149th and S.P.R I am extremely picky with my hair/style, and having to move to the West Side of Edmonton, I was really worried as my previous barber was now too far. I met Ali hoping for someone who has vast exp. with clippers, fades, etc. He is PRO. Ask for him by name. He can do any cut you describe, and if your'e not sure he will recommend something with your type or hair that will suit you. Wait times are usually sporadic, but you never wait long, if at all. Clean shop.GOOD music. *lots of free parking.* Capones is where it's @.! :)
