Horrible they would not claim my work travel expenses...the lady said they don't do that everyone pays to get to work but when I spoke to other accountants and did some research I realize she was a lier, and a racist.... Just look through the comments only people with Western names give them good reviews.... If you are not white go somewhere else don't waste your time and money ...I went to a different place and had my travel expenses claimed ...in your face racist H&R

The employees are very friendly and know what they are doing. Answer all any question you may have, and made it for my appointment on time and we did everything on time and properly. They are very friendly and will make it very comfortable for you and give you any information you require in regards to getting your tax returns. Very professional.

Wish I could give no stars . Very disappointed in the service received I booked an appointment online went In office at my appointment time they did not know who I was and said they weren’t making appointments just drop off although the email sent had a particular persons name assigned . When greeted he was unsure and wanted me to drop off my information when presented with a slight difficulty he felt unsure about how to handle it which was a red flag for me to even leave my documents there which was pretty straight forward . I took time out of my day to get organized and go only to feel like a burden as I walked in . I understand Covid has put a damper on things but don’t offer online appointments or make it clear . Waste of time .

If I could give zero stars I would. Basically my husband and I went to file together as a married couple for the first time and we had each missed a year. My husband 2 years of filing. Which was our fault but we had never had a problem previous years filing in yorktons h and r block even missing years. So we scheduled our appointment and yes they were very busy and we could see that and there were only 2 workers. But we go in and we find out my husband needs to update his revenue Canada account. And this is where the lady filing us starts to give us attitude "why didnt yoy think to get this done prior" well im sorry i had no idea in fact we straight out explained how we missed years etc while making the appointment to file so they are aware in advance . Anyways So they start the call and we can't get through because he's having trouble verifying so the lady tells us that's gonna be it for they day call them and come back the next week. So we get there the next week and attempt to file and run into a " I don't have time to finish filing your taxes today" like we are causing her so many issues just trying to get it done and asking many questions to attempt to have ready what they need *I should mention we waited over an hour patiently each time so the reason was because she was running late not us* so we are asked to come back on the next Monday so we do. We finally get through the final portion of the taxes. Now they print the wrong last name on my cheque and my bank refuses to cash it so we go back and ask them politely to change it. She refuses throws a pen at us and tells us to convince the bank that we filed there and need it cashed. We ended up going to every bank most refused but we stumbled upon on that did it for a charge which at that point was fine I just didn't care I wanted it done. So today we receive the rest of our income tax only to find out that they charged us for every visit even when we made zero progress. Therefore we were charged to get our very first cheque back(which she told me all the charges got taken out of) but when we got the other cheques we realize they dinged us even more so we paid 400 dollars to get our taxes done roughly. Never go here go somewhere else or to literally any other h and r block.

what no one is taking into account here is that this location is only open part of the year so come tax season they are dealing with a new set of staff every year

$190 for a tax return. That's right. $190 for barely trained people to type a few things and 10 minutes later charge me $190. Avoid going after April 1st they jack up the prices. Highway robbery.

Every year I go to them with the simplest tax return possible a disability return. It's a 10 minute job. Every year I'm in there for a minimum of 40 minutes. This year was a record 70 minutes. Every time I either get stuck with someone who doesn't know the computer system or the tax forms baffle them.this was my last year with them save yourself the headache dont go
