Guys very good people with helping mentality and they will provide you with some food , shelter, dress and all... U will get food for 1-2 week just by a single visit... So if u r not able to survive in Canada just go and visit them....

An amazing place to go if you need help. Whether it is food or help with bills. They have many incredible programs to help people get back on their feet. Birthday presents for children under 10. Adopt a family for Christmas. The Christmas parties at Christmas for children are fantastic. They also sell bus tickets and bus passes at lower rates

Get there EARLY and when you get your number, STAY PUT! If you go outside for a smoke or take off to Timmy's for a coffee and your number is called and you're not there, well you go to the back of the line and wait for your turn again. Keep the language clean and respectful.

The worst place ever never eat a meal there, never use their food bank because the food they hand out is sometimes years past expiration! Also never ever have your tax returns prepared there you're better off having to pay to have it done at least it will be done right! I recently had my tax returns done there, then I took him to h&r block and they say every one of them was done wrong I could have got in a lot of trouble but they fixed it!!

Truly amazing help, care and resources for people in the area. I have only ever met with John, he's an incredibly caring person and so dedicated to his job, being there over 20 years I believe, not just a "job" for him I would strongly guess. From initially calling to the front desk staff to meeting face to face, one is treated with dignity and respect which I find very rare for places like this personally. Even if you can not be helped in ways specifically needed, they still find ways to offer other forms of help that may seem minimal to many but are actually huge to someone on a fixed income. Having come from another Province where you are definitely not left with dignity if you attempt to reach out, there really are almost no resources like this either...Sarnia-Lambton Country is very fortunate to have this organization and John on their side.

Its a really good place, where you get free food/groceries if you are in a low income group, bus tickets/ pass at a lower rate, free tax file-ing, etc. You just need a valid id proof. It's only for low income group, if you are one, feel free to go ahead. The people in here are really kind and polite.

I love the Inn of the good Sheppard. They provide so much more than just a hot meal.... You can get your income taxes done there for often free if you are on assistance, reduced cost on bus passes and tickets for those on assistance available for purchase.... Food bank and many social resources available. Friendly, clean... Essential part Sarnia community support services ????????

After walking through those doors and meeting the kind persons, having the oppertunity to sit down and speak with Jon at one of the lowest points in my life and my mind ... I feel now that i dont need to feel ashamed & that i will have the support i need. Most importantly from a kind safe place. Thank you.
