I had a real estate purchase deadline to meet that depended on the sale of my town house and Jodie did an utterly amazing job helping me sell and meet that deadline in only 2.5 weeks (listing date to condition removal date), and on top of meeting the deadline I received asking price! Throughout the sale, Jodie was easy to communicate with and quick to respond via text, phone calls and email to answer all of my concerns. She used the ShowingTime app to schedule viewings in order to ensure that they worked with both myself and my roomate’s schedules. All realtors and potential buyers were respectful of covid policies (wearing a mask, not viewing if sick, etc…)- I did not feel concerned about exposure during the process. Since I was away when I decided to list my townhouse through Jodie, Jodie was able to contact my roomate and staged the whole house for pictures. She took pictures that highlighted the selling features of the townhouse and then made a virtual 3D rendering using a Matterport Camera. The 3D rendering was amazing to see and allowed me to take a virtual walk through of the townhouse. I really liked how it provided an accurate layout of my house and sizes of the rooms. Jodie made the sale of this property turn from a stressful situation to one where I felt optimistic and confident that my townhouse would sell. I trusted Jodie throughout the sale and everything could have not gone more smoothly. If I am selling again or have any friends who are planning to sell, my recommendation is to one hundred percent go with Jodie and the Mountain Town team!

Great place to enjoy Red Mountain and Rossland in general. I didn’t realize it when booking this property that you could literally walk to the resort (3-5 min to chairlift). Beds are comfortable, and area is beautiful! Everything you need for a great stay!

I do not recommend this company! I just moved to Rossland and am renting the home of a previous Mountain Town Properties employee. The landlord left the home uncleaned, with renovations and painting scheduled for the entire first week of our tenancy and zero communication about it all. After a week of contractors coming and going from our house she put the house up for sale with Fred Behrens one of the real estate agents working for Mountain Town Properties. He has been extremely disrespectful to all current COVID 19 heath restrictions, he has repeatedly called our cell phones, emailed us and shown up at our door unannounced to talk about the house or asking to take photos. He doesn't seem to understand what proper 24hrs notice is, even after asking him to reference the Residential Tenancy Branch. He also is not offering any virtual tours, videos or other means to keep down visitors from the coast looking to come buy a new home in Rossland. Seriously.. I can't have my mom come visit me because of COVID19 restrictions yet on Sunday we had nearly 20 people in and out of our home?? This morning was the cherry on top of it all.... I went to my garage to take my recycling out and Fred had come by unannounced at some point this morning and cut the lock, changing the keys and not providing me a copy. He seems to not understand how the Residential Tenancy branch works... here it is incase he or anyone else needs to review: Prohibitions on changes to locks and other access 31 (1)A landlord must not change locks or other means that give access to residential property unless the landlord provides each tenant with new keys or other means that give access to the residential property. (1.1)A landlord must not change locks or other means of access to a rental unit unless (a)the tenant agrees to the change, and (b)the landlord provides the tenant with new keys or other means of access to the rental unit. (2)A tenant must not change locks or other means that give access to common areas of residential property unless the landlord consents to the change. (3)A tenant must not change a lock or other means that gives access to his or her rental unit unless the landlord agrees in writing to, or the director has ordered, the change.

I have actually enjoyed speaking with these people. Some of the places are a bit higher than seems reasonable but I am pretty sure that is the choice of the owners and not the fault of the ladies at Mountain Town Properties. If I could suggest one thing it would be to lose the e-transfer rent payment option as it just costs extra in unnecessary bank fees.
