If you ever need to use this service, you will be glad it's there. I have needed a couple times. You don't really get a lot, but you get enough, and if you're creative in cooking it is very helpful. The staff are very passionate about helping clients as well. Make sure you bring your own bags or boxes to take you order home tho, as they always don't have bags for you to use. Bus stop is nearby. Don't judge because it's a food bank. When I have been there, there is always a full range of people. People that if you seen them elsewhere, you would never ever even consider they need help. So, don't judge. If you need this place, be glad it is there

The Regina food bank takes donations of food and portions it to families in need of assistance. They offer volunteer opportunities to groups and schools as well as educational seminars on small scale aeroponics and composting.

The Food Bank is a good place ,to help the low income.One thing that should be change is other people taken more fruit then they should leaving others with out.Plus having people telling other people what do with there food order when they don't work there.Plus saying any exter food only go's to them .Which is wrong,because they don't work there.

Volunteered here for school. They are doing a lot of good for the Regina community. A lot of food does go to waste due to improper storage and refrigerating.

Long story. If you need a hamper make sure you get two people to confirm what you need to bring with you before going. Giving a homeless teenager the runaround on a food hamper is absolutely disgusting.

Good place to go when welfare don't give you enough and this also supports penny pinchers who probably don't even need food bank, I seen this white woman with an expensive car picking up food where street people pick up food...she looked eccentric and dressed to the nines...

They are great when using them, however most other cities and towns I have been through (hitchhiking) have given me food even if I didn't live there and were more than happy to do so with no questions asked.

I'm grateful for the food bank for the help they have given me and for the help they provide the community. But a family of four is expected to live off of 4 boxes of Kraft dinner? My family doesn't need sweets we need items with nutritional value. Also I asked for formula and because my baby is 18 months old i was told no. Also i was there in for over an hour and this guy was there for the same amount of time waiting for people to leave so he could scoop their stuff. He left with well over 3 boxes of items.

Continuously crappy food, not enough staff, and if you miss your appt to pick up your order, there is no way you can call in and leave a message, no answering machine, then you are cut off for a month. How does that help fight hunger in our city? And very harsh qualifications to even be approved, and so many families on different groups begging for food, or having to wait 2 week minimum to get food order.

I donte once a month because I have been in a position of poverty and my life is pretty good now so I like to give back, however the staff at this location, (especially the people in the back) seem to have an attitude problem and act like you are a problem for needing a hand, bringing in boxes from your car or ignore you enirely, I feel so uncomfortable doing this good deed because I'm afraid of the unwelcome I receive every single time I go here, I wish I could drop stuff off at someone's home or a near by park before going to the food bank!
