Went in because of an email I recieved regarding an extra 30% value if taken in store credit (cashopolis cash card). had called beforehand and when mentioning the offer they urged me to come into the store to ensure the condition of my item. (Unused Ultrabook). After seeing the (spotless) item they reduced the offer to 375 from the 400-500 estimate over the phone. When I mentioned store credit they offered me 425-450 in credit (30% extra of 375 is 487.50). After mentioning the promotion in the email he still offered me 475 (this isn't complex math). Never will I return to this dishonest operation, don't send out promotional ads if your not going to honor the promotion. Thankful that it's easy enough to sell things to others online that this place will be out of business, good riddance!

Over the weekend took some stuff into Cashopolis which was my friends things. My friend was busy looking around while I was trying to sell his stuff. I was dealing with a younng kid. Made the deal for $45 for all. So he ask for my ID and ran it. Then he found out I had a record from 10 years ago and read some of my charges out load for others to hear. I grad my friends stuff and was head out rightaway. While leaving the Kid told me am not welcome and banded me for life from there store. A lot of people heard what was going on. One person outside said they couldn't do that if you didnt get charge from them. He said he and others wouldn't be going back there to shop anymore. My friend is very upset over this matter and wouldn't be returning back. I have gone to the cops and will be laying charges against CASHOPOLIS for exposing may past charges. Fast forward I have got a lawyer June 29 2021 they are saying nobody has rights into a person's past charges from a pawn shop from the City Police. They said that means this pawn shop has access to everybody's Criminal charges and records. Which is very dangerous in the wrong hands.

They pull shady moves... bad services.. my wife and got 3 pairs of beats and two laptops couple months ago plus 20 x box games 4 ps4 games so we spent little bit of cash first got home the one pair of beats the leather started to come off first night plus the laptop we got was a little messed up i think someone dropped it because buddy said if we had issuses due to the place being messed up where cord went we could bring it back we got this stuff half hour b4 place closed we came back next day you guys said we were not telling truth that it showed on video that laptop was fine and buddy said the beats were different so we got stuck with 330.00 worth of stuff we just wanted to trade for with laptop we wanted to trade and spend 3 hundred more beats we gave to some guy walking out with a kid point is we use to spend 5 hundred to a thounsand every month with you guys and all our family but we all go different place all because buddy lied to us for a sale ...

I’ve bought and sold at Cashopolis quite a few times and I can honestly say I’ve never left disappointed (or empty handed!). When selling to them they’ve always given me a fair price, sometimes more than I asked for (thanks ‘Handsome Mike’ ????). I would recommend to anyone, Many thanks guys/gals!

It's the only pawn shop that doesn't feel like some sheisty ghetto shack where someone might follow you out and mug you. Good area, nice parking lot, big store, great selection. They have tons of video games and movies, including some rare finds. Just make sure you check your items before you drive away. There have been a few times where they forgot to put a disc in a case when I was buying 5-10 games at once. I'm not judging, it's an understandable mistake and they'll fix it as soon as you bring it to their attention.

Cashopolis went above and beyond for me this week. I had an expensive camera stolen from my car two days ago. I was so stressed out and upset about it. Thankfully, my camera had been turned in to cashopolis! The cashopolis staff went above and beyond and figured out that it was a stolen camera. They scrolled through the photos on the camera and found clues about who the camera belonged to. (They actually zoomed in on my dog’s collar In one of the photos to figure it out). I AM SO THANKFUL. They are ethically good humans. They made my whole week so much better. I cried happy tears of relief when I got the call that they found it. They even left fun photos on my camera that made me laugh! ALSO. Thank you, Handsome Mike.

Prices on most games are quite high, some are ridiculous. Several times ive had to return them because of scratches and inability to play after a certain point. I was quite surprised with the horrible gouges/scratches on many games/dvd/blu rays ect. And upon return i got charged $1 off of the return for the few days i had them. All i wanted was an exchange for a working game. For ppl who work full time its not always easy to test out 5 games within 24hrs. I understand the company not wanting to get taken advantage of, but at the same time it would be nice if i was recognized as a loyal and regular customer. Well after today ill be buying elsewhere.

Decent usually but I have purchased game boxes/cases here before only to realize they are empty later. This happens with older games quite often, especially gameboy.

Any musicians die hard place to go. Honestly love it. Some stuff is a little pricey and others are not but you get what you pay for. For selling go for in store credit usually there price will not be what you want for it unless it’s in store credit.

I love this place and I'm a regular customer here until the old woman was very rude to me when I'm just asking politely if there's a stock of far cry 3 for ps3 and she told me she have no idea about that when she can check it on computer if there's a stock of far cry 3. The tone of her voice was very arrogant and the video games section used to be organized but now it's very messy which make it harder for customer find the game they want. I'm very disappointed for the way she deal with me was very rude and very unprofessional.

I went there on march 18th with item to sell there. U had a rice maker brand new and retail price outside is around $30 and i ask for $20 and the strange thing is the guy working there offer me $5 for new brand new rice make and this really sucks and he told that i will give u $20 than what i earn for myself. This is really weared and they are promoting on there webside we give best price for everthing. It was the worst expierenced for me and the person over the counter was talking rudly a and he was not interested in buying anything.so its a request to the people before going there think twice or u will be insulted

today I drove an hour to get a ps2, didn't work so I drove back and bought a GameCube controller. Its also not working and now I have no chance of a return, this is like the 4 thing I've bought from them that broke within a week. the genesis I bought there does not work and one of the games I bought actually was the consoles undoing as its broke the pin connecters. I just lost 20 dollars plus the GameCube game I bought which I cannot play now because of the controller. Like come on. the one in saskatoon actually had working products at a cheaper price so pick up the slack guys. You instantly know that the ps2 disc drive is broken apologize and then sell me another broken product, I don't think ill be coming back to this store again.

Ever since the pandemic started, I had been paying for things via Apple Pay so I don’t have to touch things unless absolutely necessary. Most businesses have advised their customers to use tap to reduce the chance of spreading covid. Well, cashopolis does complete opposite. The second I attempted to pay via Apple Pay, the guy at the counter told me they don’t accept tap. I mentioned to him that this is counter productive to the safety measures and they should do something about it and he just started at me with no response. Guess what - they didn’t even spray the debit machine after I used it.

My favorite shop in town. They are pretty good with pricing and there is usually a good amount of stuff I am interested in. I hit it up twice a week, just to stay updated. The staff are awesome and helpful. Never had trouble of any sort. I traded some stuff for store credit once and they were totally fair about it. Anyone complaining they are unfair should stop selling things they find that precious, I guess. lol ! Highly recommended.

Sold me a nice guitar for 350. about a week and a half later realized not everything on the guitar was working properly, and called and asked if I could return for a refund. They offered me 160 bucks they’d probably do nothing to it and sell it again for 350. Won’t get my business again

Just left this shop where I had one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had in any business. When someone comes to your store to sell whatever they have, they’re obviously doing it because they need the money and I find it disgusting that someone would be subjected to an interrogation by the counter staff while they giggle and whisper about you and your motives for selling your hardware. The process was completely dehumanizing. I find the treatment especially disgusting during the time we are in right now where many don’t have jobs or reliable income. If you don’t want to be judged and joked about when you’re selling something that is most likely valuable to you because you NEED the money, I would strongly suggest finding another pawn shop.

Bought a game from here that they had put there sticker on to keep the game case closed when I took the sticker off it and opened the case there was a completely different game in the case then what was suppose to be. Don’t buy games from here they will scam you.

I'm a retro game collector from Calgary so I went here because someone mentioned they had a lot old games and systems in stock. That was not an understatement as the store has large and diverse inventory of new and old video games from the original NES up to modern consoles. It was basically half the store. Prices were on the high side (eg. doom 64 cart about $30 eBay/Kijiji versus $60 here), but they had tonnes of rare/desirable games like Pocky and Rocky, Metal Storm, Mega Man Soccer, Fire Emblem etc. and when it comes to retro games higher prices are the norm with selection/convenience. Some sections of the store were a little disorganized, but they have an inventory system so they can look things up. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall I'd say this is a must stop for any video game collector making their way through Regina. Just be prepared to pay retail prices.

I have been here a number of times. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They have a large selection of second hand goods for sale. I have no complaints. I would invite you to check it out for yourself and not read too much into the negative reviews as they may come with the territory. And note that the owner responds to many of the reviews unlike many other business owners out there. Keep up the great service!

Cashopolis is a great place to shop. I have been going there since it first open. Friendly staff especially from Mike, Paulette and Carey who I always deal with. No hassle policy on returns. Lots of games, movies, tools and musical instruments. After leaving the store, my wallet feels very lighter.

Bought 2 subs in a box. One is a svc and other was a dvc. One a good sub and other a cheap one. I complained and they didn't care. So if u buy subs, make sure they take them out and check
