Pathwise was a lot easier to work with and a lot better % on loan than T.D. by far .. TD wanted 16.03% and Pathwise did it for 7% no problem at all ..

Banking with a local credit union is refreshing. After banking at the big 5 for years, I find the level of service, emphasis that's placed on member service and friendliness of the staff to be a welcome change. Pathwise has been a great value add to my business and to my finances. Keep up the good work team Pathwise.

It is no auto workers, they change everything and their holding on to money that doesn't belong to them. I did the probate they wanted now a month later they still have not released the money that is no longer theirs. Under Canada issue the release of money should only take 10 to 14 business days not 30 and longer. They don't want to give up the money because they are getting good interest off it. It's no longer and has never been thier money but I did all that was asked to release our money and they act like it belongs to them.

I had a mortgage with these guys for years. They were not my main banking account but I also had a line of credit with them. I did a refinance with another mortgage company and they forced the payout of the line of credit and closed it without telling me. Shortly after I close the account because I had no need for their banking services. I felt it was highly unprofessional to close an account without telling the client you were closing it. It wasn't a home equity line of credit. I've never had any issues anywhere else I have ever banked like this. Save your time plenty of other lenders out there that treat their customers better.

Well, they can start by taking "auto workers" off the branch name. I've been a member for almost 17 years and have been treated like I'm homeless. I was told my credit rating was not good enough for overdraft, and I understand that. But when I ask them to hold a cheque that will bounce -37$ and they say yes just come in and pay after my shift, and proceeded to charge me the $40 fee, i tend to feel they don't have the working class members best interests.

Very poor and untrained staff, along with a poorly run bank. They have continually blamed any troubles on their new computer system which seems to be having trouble since they opened!! The computer system should have been fixed months ago. I definitely don't believe that excuse. You do a term deposit and walk out with no proof of your interest rate or maturity date; you only can see it on-line. They made a mistake on my interest rate on a term deposit and it took 4 long phone calls to correct it, again blaming the computer system. Finally, I got a photocopied typed letter stating my term deposit with no account number on it to prove I have the right interest rate for that account changed, but 3 months later still have not received the certificate in the mail. I have not received one certificate of any of my renewed special term deposits, even though they said we would receive it within 10 days of maturity. . We get no notification in the mail of term deposits that are maturing. Finally, they have very poor hours for people who work 9 to 5. They have no evening or weekend hours. It is as if they do it on purpose to drive you to do on-line banking.

Horrible management. They don’t do what they says they will. It’s obvious they don’t know what they are doing. They claim it’s the system, change it and it’s even worse. Don’t bank there!

I've been with this financial institution for almost 20 years. Back when it was AWCCU it was great - well trained, friendly staff and a help line that was available evenings and weekends. About 8-10 years ago, something changed - they laid off the old staff and went with people who are not helpful and not trained. Their help line is only 9-5 Monday to Friday. Branch hours are shorter. To contact them, you're told to email them and then discover they will reply in 48 hours and just get an auto- acknowledgement and no further contact. Not a happy camper. Follow up 11/09/21 - I called in today for assistance with the app and paying a couple of bills. Got a very nice woman who was able to help me with both. A big improvement over the last time I called for help.

I've been trying to renew my mortgage since January. Rates are at an all time low and their offer to me was more than 3.5% i asked for the mortgage advisor to get back to me with something better no reply since then. I've tried calling in several times to only sit on the phone for over an hour each time to have someone hang up the phone on me 2 twice. This company makes me feel that their trying to bully me into excepting an extremely high mortgage rate and rip me off. This is bull#$%!

I have been at this bank for so long and the communication is terrible. I go to aunto union credit union and name has changed. Today I come to bank and can't pay bills at machines. I'm sorry I am in my sixties and in the middle of pandemic and you want me to come inside bank face to face ? I'll change banks before you tell me what to do. And the customer service will be better also.
