It's actually gold containing glass! It gives the building a distinct appearance and assists in the energy savings of the glass building. There are connections to the PATH and Union Station (GO rail, Via rail and TTC - subway and LRT.) GO and TTC buses are nearby.

My favourite bank. Been in Canada for less than 2 years as a class A client and they already have increased my credit limit to 14k, approved mortgage and a line of credit. The customer service is always on top. RBC always makes sure you stay satisfied. I almost always get the best exchange rate, close to the staff one, so never need to find a currency exchange place. The food court is extremely busy during the lunch rush hours, just like most of the food courts surrounding it, but the service at the various restaurants is well coordinated and very fast. It's a good option for a quick lunch if you are in the area. Good luck finding a table though! You will probably be asked to share your table with a stranger.

I don't go there that often but it is always clean no matter how busy it is and they used to be crowded before covid, their food court was also nice, clean and spacious. You just feel comfy walking there to whatever business you are visiting.. Then open concept where the bank is gives it this welcoming feeling. Very well maintained. Maybe cause it is Royal Bank:)). They are amazing... especially now after I had to deal with another bank ( forcefully as only option ) for something and I experienced what it means to be dealing with the worst bank in history ( and it is a major bank )...

Not really one for banks but this building is super cool. Maybe it's my email address realized. I dunno. Then the path entrance and this interior reminds me of old school bank time where my mom puts her favorite inherited heirlooms and most expensive costume jewelry in a safety deposit box not forgetting the time it was my turn to bite the gold nugget to mark my teeth into the metal. Oh yeah that's soft. My teeth are strong calcium and the properties of gold. The only childhood bank memory. Staffs great too very accommodating as I spazz about privacy invasions and avoid online banking.

Great location. Across union station with underground PATH connection. Lower level of building features many stores (LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, etc). Also food court. There is also a RBC branch located on the main level between the north and south towers. Path connection will take you all the way to Eaton Centre.

I am not happy with RBC as a bank. My account was opened in Alberta. When I moved to ON I had no issue opening a Mortgage an being able to track it online. I recently bought a condo in Montreal, and RBC has not been able to see the line of credit associated online. They claim I have to open a second account in the province of QC...6 months and I get different messages. At least now someone at a branch in Kingston (they have nothing to do with the mortgage) is looking into it...still 2 months, no solution other than opening a second RBC account!

Royal Bank Plaza is a great south most entranceway to the PATH -- the underground pathway that runs from Union Station up through TD Centre, First Canadian Place and north the Hudson's Bay and Eaton Centre. If you're on the subway line and need to jump off for a quick pickup at Starbucks, LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, Godiva, MAC cosmetics or an Indigo, this is a great spot. You're in and out in minutes, or if you have the time, you can walk the PATH and find a ton of great options (McEwan for fantastic take home dishes, Purdy's for superb chocolates, L'Occitane for great hostess gifts and Nadege Patisserie because they have the best croissants in TO -- the apple streusel are delish as well). But it all starts as soon as you come up the stairs from Union station and see the Starbucks on the left and Shoppers on the right. Stay at the underground level for all these things and more. And yes, there are RBC bank machines around the corner from the LCBO across from MAC Cosmetics. If you've never been, check it out!

Great parking spot if your watching a game. Could be a little tricky and there could be very long waits getting out. Had to wait for over 20 minutes to get into the parking as only one elevator serves the parking. It’s also hard to find your car since all floors look the same with no obvious color codes. Looked for stairs but couldn’t find any, so make sure you take a picture of which floor you parked at. Overall not a bad spot to park

Same as usual, nothing really changed in the pass 20 years. Food court was very quiet after 6pm. Bathroom was always clean. Last time when I was at the food court, there were less than ten people there and most of the shops were already closed. One of the guys started to smoke and the security guard saw and smelt it but did nothing!

This is your typical corporate office tower, with retail space underneath that forms part of Toronto's PATH system. Miles and miles of underground shopping, it's like a city in itself. Royal Bank Plaza has one of the more upscale concourses, with a good food court, medical, dental, physio, massage, Starbucks, banking and numerous retail stores.

Perimeter is equally fascinating as is its interior. My hats off to wonderful , all the dedicated staff caring for this Great Plaza.

Horrible security guards... gaurd was rude and spoke down to the whole work crew.. threatened to not let us complete our jobs in the loading bay due to issues that we realistically had no control over... hope that new company enjoys their new security friends... SMH

Palmark construction has just completed a parking garage ramp project at my office, 200 Bay Street west. Oxford Properties Group detailed the project would be completed some time In October, however to our surprise the Ramp was open 1.5 month ahead of schedule!
