PNC Bank just opened in California after taking over another bank chain. Reason I am with PNC is they were originally the RBC. Please note, I have used the PNC Corona branch and they do a great job. This one, on Holt, in a grocery store, meh...was not worth the drive. I had to deposit some funds, and TWO tellers were working with ONE customer...thats fine, I'm patient, however, after 20 minutes, when the two tellers had not acknowledged me, no hellos, not even a look I left. Not that it matters to anyone, but I have my business accts with this bank, they have now been moved to a bank that likes their customers. PNC has never given 'stellar' service.....but this was the proverbial 'straw that broke the camels back'.....look if you want to bank, be smart, go to a credit union, they pay you more interest on your money and are happy to have your business. And to add to this story, I had called PNC 3 times, each time being on hold for 20-30 minutes....thats fine, I was working, but then when it rang thorugh the message said 'no one can take your call' .....lol are you getting a theme. I then went on their Facebook page, complained and their text in a box person said someone would get back to me as soon as possible.....its been a week. No one reached out. Don't bank here unless you can go into a branch like Corona where people are professional .

Late fees when paid on time . Called them on it and removed without question . Banks like this count on you to not notice while they rob you blind.

***UPDATE Open again 01.22. And still great service.. Great service but not open on 11.23.20. Sign said temp closed with no time frame or anything.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN. Every single experience/interaction with BBVA has been frustrating. This bank is faceless and useless. Usually the agents try to help, but they have zero authority to fix customer service issues. DO NOT BANK AT BBVA

My money got stuck in an ATM machine I notified the branch and they seemed a little with me it was $1,100 once they got the money retrieved they failed to reach out to me and let me know my money had been located very unprofessional

I had home equity line of credit for many years. I paid it off early. I asked BBVA to close the loan and they never did. Months later I got a bill for $50 which they called was an assessment fee. I called two more times over the last few weeks and asked them to close the account. They told me I would have a letter mailed to me and emailed to me within days and it's now been 3 weeks. They reversed the bogus assessment fee but they are still not closing the account. These people are crooks don't do business with them!
