PolarGrizz is a great little guest house in Sachs Harbour, NWT. It has five guest bedrooms with two or three beds in the room. It has kitchen facilities for guest use, as well as a common area for dining and watching satellite TV. Laundry is available if you're staying longer periods too. Two washrooms with showers that are separate, so you can do your business and shower in private. Towels provided. They also supply basic breakfast foods for the guests (e.g. bread, coffee, cereal, etc). Nice little place. It is owned by the local Community Corporation, so when you stay here you are directly supporting local residents via one of their community organizations.

I had a lovely stay at the PolarGrizz! Very cozy room equipped with twin beds, a dresser, desk and chair, and a space heater for extra comfort. The closet near the shared bathrooms was always full of clean towels. I had the pleasure of meeting three other guests during my stay and loved how we could enjoy meals together in the kitchen and have mid-day coffee breaks in the living room. The shared spaces are large enough to not feel crowded. Special thanks to Sharon who made herself available to pick me up and drop me off at the airport!
