Just had a US cheque to cash and since my bank is in Vancouver and no other local banks would be able to cash it, I was told there isn't many options. I was fine with paying the fee they ask, I just needed to have that cheque cashed, but I was told I needed to register an account with them. Fine. But then they were asking for bank statements, employers info, manager, income and SIN number. I refused to give my SIN since it is NOT mandatory to give to anyone but the government and it's actually illegal for anyone to demand it, they can ask, but they can't force you. That was met with patronizing attitude and arrogance with phrases like "Well, you give your social security number to your bank right? Then you have to give it to us". To which I replied "you are not a bank and you can't force me to give you this information". She kept on arguing about it and kept on going over my application in front of other customers, asking questions out loud about my income, what my job is, company etc. I've never been treated with such condescendance anywhere else but you have to wonder what kind of power they think they have when they deal with pay check loans. Definitely the last resort place to go.

One of the worst experience I ever had . I don’t recommend this place to anyone . The lady who was there tried to help us a lot but the western union who dealt with them have the worst service. They lost my money and they didn’t refund me back . They took a lot of personal information from my side a day after my transaction . And I did provide them with everything they requested but still until the this date I haven't received anything . This place is not secured and untrusted.

Switched to this location when the girls from London rd switched. I did once go back to London Rd and they messed up so bad it took my regular girls weeks to fix. But with their patients and great customer service they kept me calm and assured me they would make sure all got fixed properly. London rd juat made some notes and told me.they would cover any fees from mess up. Which 100% they would NOT. Exmouth has way better service for over the past year then London rd.

Spoke with a representative named Javid(Javeed). Super fast and on point and within 20 mins was on my way. He knew exactly what to look for and he was able to get me exactly what I wanted. Literally if I ever needed it again I would come back just for the efficiency and professionalism of his service. In comparison went to cash4u down the street and was told be 3-4 days to get the money on a simple payday loan. Representative there was completely unresponsive. If this is a reflection of money mart , this is exactly the type of employee I would want representing me.

If I could give a 0 star I would, I went in to sell my rings and waited more then half an hour because there was 1 woman who was running back and forth between testing my rings and helping other customers then to get a disgraceful price for 3 rings. I left and looked at my rings to find one broken and a huge chunk missing out of another. I go back inside and the woman tells me I signed a waiver and she can do whatever she wants to my ring, admitted she cut open my ring to test it and on my rings you can see she scrapped them multiple times in different areas causing my rings to now be worthless

Money mart at broad, have cashiers that are rude, disrespectful, and do no not care about your time. I went in at 4;10 and when I went to the cashier lady, she told me to wait for 5 minutes and wen to the back. She stayed there until, 4;30 and when already wasted 30 minutes, she comes back with a new cashier that is learning for the first time, and I had to wait until 4:40. After all that she asks for ID, I go to the car and get it, than wait for until 4;46, I tell the cashier lady, can you hurry up a bit, and she freaked out on me, she was if you are not cooperating nicely, you can take your card and leave after I just made my final payment. And on top that she started calling me names like rude , even though I am being nice and understand, that they are working. Do you want to waste your time? Then don't go here, and go to better money mart that actually cares for your time!

This is my Fave Money Mart, they're friendly an you can't help but enjoy their services. Not many places will treat you nice and be honest with you. I recently had an experience at Cash Money Store to exchange American into Canadian and was told after she gave me the amount I would need to get 200 Can. That she would not except my American money because it was a boss thing. Was her response to me. That's sad and I was like a Boss thing what is a Boss thing!! She had another customer there and she didn't want me as a customer so I politely excused myself and left. So for anyone and everyone Moneymart will not discriminate . Money mart advertises they exchange money for you and so does Cash Money. But if you look like you just worked all night and your native they will not serve you or help. Money mart is Awesome . They won't treat you badly and you won't have to walk out feeling the way I did the other evening. CHECK MONEY MART OUT THEY THE BOSS!!!!

This company has placed a negative item on my credit report. I have called numerous numbers and emailed on several occassions. I've spoken to service representatives, supervisors, and management, each person transfers me to someone else, no individual can correct this issue. All staff that I've spoken to have promised me satisfaction and has done absolutely nothing. Customer service is non existent!!! I even had one of their managers identify to me that their practices are wrong and they needed to be corrected. My initial contact with money mart began in Oct 2019, this is when I brought the error to their attention. I don't know how many times contact was made, however I know it's been well over 100 times. No resolution as occured and as soon as I inquire about it, all they do is pass the buck!!! My advice is... SEEK SERVICES FROM ANOTHER AGENCY!!!!!

i recently bought two 50 dollar vanilla mastercards. went home to pay bills. second card wouldn't work, was told to come back, then refused by manager to assist. was told to call mastercard only to find out the card sold to me at this location was a fraudulant card. do not deal with money st. thomas money mart. like to also add, i usually buy 100 cards because bills paid are over 70 dollars, store has stock issues, and sometimes they are out in which case you pay for two activations rather than one with the one dollar card.

This company genuinely doesn’t care about their customers or associates, just money. They force CSR’s to push hundreds of products on customers in each transaction regardless of the relevance. On top of that you’re punished when you don’t say the robotic guided scripts given to you. The store may be convenient to customers but the way they pressure workers are inhumane.
