Very bad service especially with parcel deliveries. Over the past few years my parcels have been delivered to the wrong address about 20% of the time. Furthermore the parcel deliver individuals from this location are so lazy they never even bother to ring the doorbell half the time to make a delivery attempt they just leave a door hanger and make you go to post office. As an Amazon customer I am very happy they no longer use Canada post for the items they fulfill and ship. With the courier Amazon uses now I always get an email with a picture of my item(s) when they are safe dropped. Why isn't Canada post providing that type of assurance it's the year 2021 get with it your service sucks!

I went there because my postman put a parcel note on my door instead of delivering the package and the lady who worked there refused to give me my package unless I gave her a letter with the same address on it even though I already showed her my ID! It's sad that in today's day and age that Canada post still as such archaic rules around dogs ,refusing to deliver mail to a box outside of a yard ,because of a barking dog in the yard ,just silly !Dogs are not going away and are getting more and more popular ,knowing this Canada Post should have some kind of dog behavior awareness course for there posties so they can recognize the difference between an aggressive dog and one who is just letting his owner know there is someone there ,Unfortunately that won't help if they refuse to deliver to a safe box several feet from the fence that the dog is behind .This just seems very childish to me and Canada post seems to be pandering to a irrational employee rather than just telling her to put the mail in the safe box provided and not make a big deal out of nothing ! Why do they never answer the phone
Staff are always friendly and helpful at this location. We visited in May 2018 for the Race To Erase. The employees were really nice and even took us for a short tour.

Went in to mail a copy of a document just within the HRM. The lady working there gives me an "express post" folder to put my papers in and doesnt tell me the price. 20 dollars later she tells me it will be 5 to 6 days for it to arrive. I asked If I could get a refund and she says: "no you already wrote on the envelope". So why did I need express shipping when I could of walked it over faster than 6 days?Why didnt she tell me the price and how long it would take initially? Why did she sell me a 20 dollar envelope when I had even brought my own box that would of been cheaper? Why could't she offer a refund on the envelope when it's really the express service that is expensive? Mostly, why was she so rude the entire time, condescendingly calling me sir continuously? That is a job in high demand and should be given to someone who cares. Two complaints here about this staff member now. I was embarassed for our Canada post service that day.

Would put 0 but cannot, in 5 years I have never gotten a package delivered to my door despite my talking to their Ombudsman and ensuring that everything was in order, and fast forward a year still no package delivered to my door as it was agreed to, within 10 minutes of the tracking saying out for delivery it is stated as attempted delivery, which is not physically possible given the distance from myself to the depot, their driver does not want to deliver to my house, my sister just 2 minutes away will get her and her husbands packages delivered no problem, the driver apparently doesn't like dogs I understand this, if my dog was outside at the time sure don't deliver but as soon as i see that i have a package coming that day my dog does not go outside until that package is delivered, and if he does he is tied up and I am with him to ensure nothing happens.
Usually an okay post office location. However, a few months ago, there was someone by the name of Stephanie working. She was quite snippy and rude to me. I asked her approximate times for different shipping options and she was abrupt/snippy: "I have no idea! We can't predict anything". An appropriate response could have been: "we are experiencing trouble with estimating times for deliveries because of xyz factors. Sorry about that, I wish I could be more accurate for you". Stephanie needs to improve her customer service! I left there extremely irritated and I will no longer recommend this location.
Note it's closed 24-26 Dec, 31 Dec- 1 Jan. This is the ONLY Shopper's with a photo lab for passports and official documents etc, as well as a post office. They're both inside the Shopper's but know that Canada Post had different hours.
Helpful staff at the mail counter are patient with customers. Always busy but service is fast.
Shout out to employee Matt who went way above and beyond today to ensure that my graduation photos would arrive safely to my family. He was eager to assist: cutting cardboard for extra support, packaging with care and informing me about insurance options available to me. Matt did this while also helping other customers with ease. Wonderful experience, hang on to this one Canada Post!
Pretty busy location given the proximity to a full service post office. There is one particular employee at this location that seems to go above and beyond in her attempts to make customers days worse in any possible way.

I understand changing the label for shipment is complicated, but when you start tapping forcefully onto the screen, dropping the mail on the counter and the debit machine is not the way to treat someone who rarely sends out a package and without full knowledge of the products and services offered. And as a manager, Mr. Butler, you have an obligation to communicate properly and clearly with your clients. If you don't like your job, it's best for you to work from home.

have had 9 items including my Drivers License delivered to wrong address. They also refuse to deliver parcels after last May. They deliver a pickup card three or four days after the tracking says "delivery failed" although ,of course ,no delivery is ever made or attempted. I went in to find out why I receive no parcels and after I left I watched the postal employee throw my formal complaint in the garbage.
Sent a label to their email to be printed, they printed the wrong label and shipped my package to the wrong address

I know there are challenges in the delivery services and one has to allow a bit of delay for that under the circumstances. However, knowing that your parcel from AMAZON has been sitting idle at this Halifax Central Station for 5, 6, 10 days is infuriating and frustrating. AMAZON has already refunded the value of two packages to me because of LATE DELIVERY!!! One package was valued at $69.19 and the other was $46.77. How can this possibly happen? Other delivery services have adapted to the current COVID-19 workplace changes. This has been going on for over a year after all. You should have adapted more effectively by now or you should just throw in the towel. Most other delivery services manage to get their packages delivered on time and, in most cases, a day or two early. Not only is this Halifax Central Station costing AMAZON a LOT of money, they are also a huge blemish for Canada Post. Currently I am waiting for a package that has been in Halifax since March 23rd...it is now March 28th. Their tracking site says it Now is rescheduled to arrive on March 30th.....it was due March 25th. AMAZON just sent me a message advising that I qualify for a refund due to late delivery.....AGAIN !!!!! CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THIS IS HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! Get your business in order HALIFAX!!

I’ve always had great service inside the actual post office. However I’ve not had such luck with the delivery person who has my route. I’ve ordered several things over the last few weeks, none of them were put in my mailbox despite my address being very clearly printed on the package. Luckily one of them was delivered to an honest man who called me right away. Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case for the other 2 that say they’ve been delivered. I could understand if the addresses were similar, but again that’s not the case. My address ends in 69 and the address it was delivered to was 44! I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but when you’re delivering parcels to people who’ve spent their hard earned money on them you should at least double check that you’ve got the right address. Disappointed.

Well I ordered a package out of states from eBay, usps sent it here via pbi which in turn went to Canada post, here's the good part the address on the box is to my place and it ended up over 2 streets thank god for some honest people in the world and brough it To my house, definitely fedex or ups next time.

I was able to obtain my package from the grasp of Canada Post once more, but not without its challenges. Mr. Butler managed to antagonize my wife and I all the while making everyone in the store uncomfortable with his ROARING yells and his PERCUSSIVE 2 handed slams on the counter with every demeaning syllable under the claims of "procedure"...funny how I was in the right but still had to fight to get my property... Aug 1st /19 Waited in line for my turn to receive package, once I got my turn in line I was told to stand to the side so the lady behind the desk could help another lady. when she was done helping her, I was told she probably won't be able to locate the package and reluctantly went to go find it. When she found it she said that they usually hold the package for a day and I should be grateful that I got it. I've never been told I should be grateful to receive my own property but if that's how this post office works I looks like it needs a lesson in how not to be lazy and ornery

Laziest canada post workers to date. Canada posts holiday schedule said all office would be open Jan 3rd, this one chose to not service the town. On top of this, they are so understaffed/lazy, they have never delivered mail to my home, nor do they scan deliveries in correctly. Seriously need to hire more staff to account for mail volumn.

Worst post office in pa. Went to send a package they wanted to try to charge me 60$ when I know for a fact I've sent the same package before for under 20$. They were training too and it was busy. Pretty sure the girl training had no idea what shes doing doesnt talk or ask you questions at all, your the one who should ask about everything.
