I wish I could write 0 starts they used to be amazing and kind hearted now they have some drill sergeant in charge ( or maybe she just thinks it ) but either way i was bassically shoved( not physically) out crying how embarrassing( i say this cause she wouldnt even let me put my stuff back in my purse and i was fumbling a bit because of the tears so like she could have some form of heart) all because of a rent receipt they sold my building literally a couple months ago so ive yet to get one due to my landlord being in Toronto i just do bank deposit's but I kept offering like my bills to prove where i live and other stuff an nope and i was very polite how could I not be I was so greatful so to go home with a grumbling belly hurts I havent been to a food bank in so long and i will never go back soooo embarrassing and to other who see this make sure you have what they need cause like i said i wasnt mean i just started crying in the chair and she got very rude not with words with tones but the two guys sitting there were very nice i just thought id add that but make sure you have everything so you dont end up like me...Karma is everything !

Today I was trying to gather information to go to the food bank asking if health card was the only identification station for my kids if it’s valid she didn’t even answer if health card was valid enough …. all she was saying was everybody needs ID but she wasn’t being specify of what I D is eligible .. She refuse to give me options but she and she started yelling saying no id no service . again I ask what would you like to see.. And it was ID … I guess it’s very busy over there she cant let us know whats acceptable ID for children ...I have no interest on going over cuz I feel very uncomfortable is this how they treat people??? it was going to be my first time using their service like wow but not interested. I guess I was expecting her to the friendly with a heart and inform them to help individual. But there very rude for what they shown me. They should hire or have volunteers that actually have a heart they should not be hiring or having volunteers that are not bitter and rude about people in need

Rude staff and volunteers. They don't follow their own system or rules. Favouritism and unfair practices. Not worth the effort for individuals.

It is a shame they give expired food...... I am afraid to eat the food from fear of food poisoning, or worse.. i guess if you can't afford housing and food, you are some how worthy of rotten or dangerous food. Not even the pandemic has stopped this from occurring. I just went to eat some yogart i got just yesterday and it had all seperated and was horrible. It has happened many times where i open something and it turns out spoiled or un eatable I refuse to go back.

I have always found the staff friendly and courteous and always willing to share a smile. Wait times are enjoyable because other clients are always friendly and enjoy a good chat. The experience makes you feel good about going.

Well worth going to the food bank these days as they are giving about 7 to 10 grocery bags of food/supplies to each client... prepare to take a taxi home or have a ride or helper mule's if your taking the bus
