I'm in an unfortunate place in my life where I need to rely on food banks to make it through the month. I have been going to this food bank for a while because of where I live. Every single time I have to throw away most of what I get. Two year old frozen chicken, five year old mac and cheese, dented/broken cans and moldy bread. I don't blame the people working here but I am confused by what they give out. Does no one check what is being handed out? Its just a matter of time before I get sick from having to eat expired food. Things are hard enough with the cost of food going through the roof. Please do better for the people that need this.
