Below Average food. Way overpriced! But the service and atmosphere is exceptional!

Steven Richard

Service was amazing and the our waiter was spectacular (Woodi). The food was the best I’ve ever had, which was the fish and chips. My father told me that the beer selection was incredible. For an apatizer I had potato skins which were delicious and served steaming on a large plate for the whole family. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and if I’m ever out there again I will be going back.

Dale M

This is a fun seafront restaurant with a tonne of character. My friend and I had the lobster which was delicious

Eric Lanthier

Scenic locale. Great service. Wide selection of food and drink with generous portion sizes

Kyle Lander

Excellent, fresh seafood (and veggies!) Friendly, smiling staff are obviously knowledgeable that many guests are Tourists (we were). We left fully satisfied with our beautiful lunch experience. Worth a mention too, they have installed plexiglass barriers between tables - not only contributing to virus safety measures but also creating a more 'private' dining experience.

Gary O

Very good food & choice of food for a pub. I wish they would change the menu more often, because otherwise it gets a bit boring over time.

Tasnim Khan

The place is very conveniently located near the waterfront, and has good positive vibes. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all the requests, even when …

Delicious food!! Would highly recommend. We had 4 altogether and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food came in a timely manner, and there is a good variety of options for food and drinks. I had the Salmon for lunch with a local riesling, and Pavlov for dessert.

Saleena

This is a busy bar & restaurant, it took awhile to get seating and to get served food as well. The interior aesthetics is very nautical. They also had plexiglass dividers between tables which was nice. The seafood linguine was packed with seafood, and the tomato soup was actually beyond expectations. Flavour wise the linguine wasn't up to my standards, the lemony flavour was far too strong with too many capers. As a tea lover, what impressed me the most was that they served looseleaf tea - really appreciated that especially on a gloomy rainy day :)

Shelley Shaw

My daughter and I had the 2 pce fish and chips, husband had the fish cakes and beans .. we all loved our lunch. My daughter and I ended up taking our second piece of fish home as it was alot to eat. Best tartar sauce we've ever had .. waitress said it's made in the restaurant. Delicious! Will definitely be back.

Patricia K Kelly

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is clean and well decorated with a lovely view of the waterfront. As for the food it was exceptional. Portion sizes were overly plentiful and for such an exceptional price. An array of great beer choices including beer brewed on site. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Olga Filimonova

Delicious fresh seafood, very reasonable prices. We especially enjoyed seafood chowder and lobster roll, good chunks of lobster in it. Drove all the way from Toronto, totally worth it ????

Sarah Chalk

Had dinner here last night. The service was friendly and fast. I had the squash apple soup and it was very good with a hit of spice. The pretzel was amazing and came with three different dipping sauces - chocolate was my favourite. Would def visit again. Great view of the ocean as well.

Anthony Novak

Such a nice spot for a random stop in Lunenburg! They have a great variety of options on the menu, both seafood and non-sea food. And don't forget to try a beverage!

Katie Lusk

This place is a new favorite, the Lunenburger is a must-try

Tony Hagan

Purchased a 2 piece fish and chips. Fries were fine, as was the service. However, the fish was terrible! No excuse for battered fish to be so bad. The piece of fish within the batter was very small, was very greasy and tasted poorly. To pay $16 for a 2-piece of that quality, (before tax and tip), is unacceptable.

Robert Young

Fantastic. Food was brilliant. I had the scallops and they were absolutely incredible. Even the mashed potatoes are worth writing about, and how often cam you say that? Mussels were bro good too, and it was an extremely generous portion. We liked it gets so much we went twice in 24hours.

One of our favorites. Good local spot for good food, friendly service, and positive energy.

Onur Kurtiç

A local favourite. Open year round, great beer selection, fantastic view and a tasty food menu. 10/10

Adam “Bison Court” D

Great food. Beer was not to my tastes. They are maybe a victim of their own success: we stood in the entry waiting for a table while two or three tables sat empty, just because they didn't have the staff to clear them. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices were good.

Jon Cyr

The best beer selection of all the places I'd been on my vacation, with 22 styles available. Great cheese dip, although I found the chips pretty cheap tasting. The Lunenburger was great, but I couldn't see myself getting it again for 25$. Overall a good experience but I'd probably try a different pub if I returned to Lunenburg.

Neerav Gandhi

Excellent service and friendly staff - kudos to Selena. Good collection of local beers. Calamari was fresh and crispy. Kids pc of fish fry is big. Lobster poutine is ok, can Skip it. Seafood chowder, Cajun seafood soup were absolute brilliant. Definitely coming here next time in Lunenburg.

Harrison Simmons

Our group was drawn to Grand Banker by the log beer tap list and good selection of seafood dishes. The seared scallops were a hit. Service was engaged and friendly. Bread pudding is made in house daily and was amazing! Make sure the seafood chowder is served hot; one star knocked off because the kitchen messed up this dish, but got it right the second time.

Great food by the water. We didn't have a view but the beer selection and seafood we ordered were very delicious. We got a flight of beers. 7x5 oz local brews. We also got the 4 seafood dish with salmon, halibut, scallops, shrimp with lemon butter sauce. The second dish was the fish cakes with house salad. Great food and excellent service.

Courtney Mac Neil

Great staff , amazing views! Loved the pretzels and beer ????????

Marc LeLacheur

Very nice establishment, with an inclined accessible ramp to get to their door. Not sure how accessible their door and floor space would be; they have a mix of booths and tables available. The food was delicious, having seen the steak sandwich, the fish tacos, and the mussels. There's a warm pretzel with nutella-sriracha dip that is akin to having a Mexican hot chocolate. The bathrooms were nice and have those awesome foot handles to open doors. The staff were nice too.

Tim McBroom

The ambiance is good. The food was tasty, but the portions are very small and the prices are high compared to the portions they serve you.

Tara Elizabeth

Nice, but not what I was expecting. My intention was to have the Nova Scotia dinner listed in their online menu that included a lobster tail. Everything was wonderful but the lobster, which was small enough to finish in two bites. If you are looking for oysters and salmon, this is the place. If it is lobster you want, keep looking.

Terry Bigelow

Delicious food, great service, beautiful views!

bill mceachern

Very nice restaurant with a varied menu and nice selection of local craft beers. Service was very good. We very much enjoyed our meal and food was very good. Nice vibe and great view of Lunenburg Harbour. Note to parents with kids that because of NS backwards liquor laws you need to be out of there by 9.

Their reputation is absolutely warranted as the top restaurant in Lunenburg. Started with the mussels in white wine sauce, which were tangy and delicious. Had some white wine and rotating craft beers from their wide selection. For entrees, we had the pan fried haddock, the lunenburger, lobster roll and the lamb rack. I am not exaggerating when I say that the lamb was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, the balsamic reduction sauce and garlic mashed potatoes blew my mind! Well done

sai kumar

I felt a little expensive but the food is great. We ordered 2 kinds of beer & both are amazing. Staff was very Friendly & Polite. Will definitely visit again!

D Ann D

Small place but quality very delicious food and awesome service. Don't be afraid to ask the chef for a favor as they are always willing to accommodate here. Can't wait for our next trip.

Joe Allard

Great place, so happy to be able to travel our of the city to enjoy authentic maritime food!

good job bob

A great little restaurant, The balcony is the best seat in the house ,if you’re there get. You can watch all the boats go by and the people go bye, Horse and buggy I had the Digby clams, they were very very very tasty, we also had The scallops which were cooked to perfection, The only problem is that the french fries are frozen with the batter on them :( But the staff was very friendly and answered our questions a good little spot.. You may even sometimes see the blue nose schooner, and only minutes away from the museum of the Atlantic, If you like this post give me a thumbs up

Terrence Lewis

Our waitress was Emily. She paid personal attention to the children in our group and gave great service to all of us. She was highly knowledgeable of the menu and guided us to the perfect experience. Food was hot, fast and delicious. We all enjoyed the view of the harbour. Just a wonderful spot.

Luke White

Good food, good service, just a bit slower than expected. We celebrated a friend's birthday, and they gave her a large and beautiful brownie dessert. The waitress mentioned "Happy birthday" on the receipt. I had the vegetarian curry dish and it wasn't too hot - had parsnips, chick peas, carrots, spinach and rice - excellent.

Wen Sun

Ordered some Coke, chicken wings and nachos, great place to rest after walk around the town.

Michael Gallant

Located right in the centre of Lunenburg, extensive draft selection and the food was very good also. Great view from our table as well.

Mitchell

Upscale compared to places around it. We're able to make a Gluten free meal. Very friendly staff

Paul Demetre

This experience started out a little rough with some confusion and our food order not being taken, but our second waitress stepped up and provided terrific service. Emily turned what could have been a disappointing visit to a memorable one with charm and very fast service. My seafood quartet (scallops, shrimp, pan fried haddock, salmon, mashed potatoes and vegetables) we all well cooked and seasoned and my wife was very pleased with her fish and chips.

Piotr Luczak

Food was unreal. The lobster roll was amazing . The fish and chips unreal. If I could eat here again and again I would.

Maru Aldan (1up)

A very classic diner by the sea vibe perfect for casual outings or dates under the sun. The service here was top notch! We got a table way off in a corner and never felt forgotten about. Prices are fair for the portions you get between 13-20 on average per entre but well worth it! What really pushed this place into 5 star territory is its location. Situated right across from a FREE parking lot and with outdoor seating available overlooking the beautiful ocean, this place is definitely a must go on your next visit to this beautiful little town.

Hào Howard (倫展浩)

Some of the best food I've had in a really log time and very reasonable price. Will definitely be back whenever in the area

crystal krammer

Wow! What a meal! Enjoyed the Steak Sandwich with Caesar along with a Blueberry Cobbler for desert! Great choice of local bets on tap as well as excellent appetizers. Atmosphere is light and friendly and the staff are just wonderful. They hosted our large group of 14 with perfect accuracy, food temps and service! Would love to be back!

Annie Rocque

Flavour wise; the Lobster Roll did not meet my expectations. The bread was dry, did not look so much appetizing. The ambiance; great decor, busy place, I got lucky they were able to take us right away. I was seated in a booth right in front of the bathrooms, which was not so great.. people came out of the bathrooms and I felt watched.

Food was not fresh. Dip was with hard layer on top. Fish cake was not fish rather mashed potatoes. Got my stomach upset

The food and service was amazing. I ordered the Vegetarian burger with side of house fries. The house fries were just amazing but the burger was So-So! The Patty tasted a little old and very Bland. Overall the service was amazing. They had some great local beers on tap as well.

Amor Xiao

Strongly recommend the Cajun seafood stew!! The best dish I had in Lunenburg by far! If you like spicy food, this is the one for you, it’s not too hot that’s unbearable, but it’s hot enough to keep you eating. I couldn’t stop even when I’m full because I don’t want to waste any.

Riordan Dennis

way too good! The view is beautiful also

Heiko Gehrig

Very fresh, tasty sea food. Prices are very reasonable. Staff were friendly. They also have a large selection of various alcoholic drink (small bar area in the restaurant) Located along the water front with wonderful views of the harbour and surrounding area. A large parking paid parking lot is right across the street (street side parking is nearly impossible to find during tourist season)

Nicholas Gregg

Delicious food, friendly efficient staff, great wine selection

Kristy Suik

The Lunenburger was excellent (slightly on the pricey side when you add a side) as was the gourmet grill cheese. Service was friendly and there is a nice view of the harbour.

Aparajita Paul

Great location for a restaurant. Prices were slightly on the pricier side. Portions however were very generous. The food and atmosphere was perfect. Would recommend. Pictured is the Acadian seafood stew and the Lunenburger.

David R Spears

Had eaten there many times. Ate there Friday August 6/21 and were disappointed. Coffee was terrible. I had the fishcakes. Had to pay extra for beans ( which I didn't used to pay Lunck for the two of us was $55 and was not worth it. Won't be back

Jme

Casual bar atmosphere. Excellent friendly service. Food was fast and hot and delicious. Great views of the harbor.

Steven Jackson

Covid is at the grand banker . Stop serving trash from halifax. There is no need of people coming from halifax to drink in lunenburg. This is not essential travel.this place has been a covid site 3 times ,how pathetic.

Judy Hung

I had their weekend brunch; it was just ok, nothing spectacular for their brunch. I had dinner here before, and the chowder, risotto, desserts were all amazing. That’s why I decided to come here for brunch. The bacons were fatty rather than crispy and thick. The coffee was laughing whale coffee; came with an individual French pressing coffee maker. The best part is the service and view. It’s always busy in here.

Mary-Jane Wells

One of our absolute favourites! Great way to end the day! They had implemented great COVID 19 safe protocols and I felt very safe dining here. As always, thanks for knocking it out of the park!

Mike Lafleur

Had an awesome lunch at the Grand Banker. It is small, busy place so expect a bit of a wait. The chowder was delicious and the $25 Lunenburger was something special! My wife had the lobster poutine and it was also amazing.

Adam Roy

Stayed in Lunenburg briefly for a mini Nova Scotia staycation this fall and since this place was close to where we stayed, we dropped in for a drink one evening. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere so much, we decided to come back the next evening for dinner. And so glad we did! The scallops and risotto were amazing! My friend had the seafood quartet which was so tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food but also the service. Our server was attentive and her timing was perfect with everything. I will be back whenever I am in the area again!

Very tasty, I'd come here again in the summer. Was very busy (only place open this time of year on a holiday) but only waited about 15 mins for a table.

Stopped in while touring Lunenburg. Nautical-themed tavern, excellent beer selection and good menu fare. Nice view of the harbour. Staff were friendly and food was quick. Tried the pretzel and burger, the pretzel was soft and warm and …

Jeremy Oakes

Great views, fresh seafood well executed, and friendly service.

Marilyn Hay

What a nice place! Stopped in for brunch today and was greeted by a nice young lady who found us a seat and did an excellent job in serving us. Thank you!

Marilyn Duncan

I almost never write reviews on here, but the fish and chips were so good I felt compelled to let everyone know. Great beers available too!

Ryan & Stacey Hickey

Great location right by the water (if you’re lucky you can get a table by the window) and great seafood for really good prices. This is seafood as fresh as it gets

Mary MacPherson

Busy. Excellent cuisine. Food servings large with scallops done to a turn. The striploin very tasty.. the veggies were cooked perfect with a slight crunch. Great Presentation of meals . Staff are polite. Decor fit the ocean view setting. Make your reservation. Get ready for a great meal. Cost $40/person incl. One drink.

Patty D

The Lunenbergburger was to die for...topped with lobster and a bacon wrapped scallop. Lovely little spot near the waterfront and friendly staff. Covid friendly protocols are in place.

Andra Schaz

We enjoyed really good quality food. The Taste of Nova Scotia with the corresponding flight of wines was a true delight! What really bothered us was the loud noise of a machine that could not be turned off (as per info of the staff) and that started humming and rumbling every 10-15 minutes. It was almost so loud you could not have a conversation. The harbour-view was nice!

Michael Davidson

We looked around at a few places in Lunenburg for lunch and settled on the Grand Banker due to cost and location (with a nice view of the harbour). The food was really good and the portions quite large. Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. There were a lot of good options on the menu.

Luca Giordano

Good food, pretty crowded resaturant, small and warm place. Nice view

Rod Paul

As always, we were not disappointed with either the food or the service. Whenever we're in Lunenburg, we know we can get a great meal with a fabulous Harbour view at the Grand Banker.

Wade Fisher

Amazing views with great food. Updated June 25, 2019 Absolutely worst service ever. Complete wrong order after waiting for our food. When ask if the burger was a grand banker, told yes. Ask if this was a $25 burger and was told no they don’t have one. We said it’s on the menu and server went and got the menu; came back and said yes they had it. But that’s not what he gave us. Very, very disappointed for a staple of Lunenburg. My wife’s fish cakes were amazing, but service was awful and zero compensation for a huge error.

Marina Vander Heyden

Excellent seafood chowder and dinner options, with generous portions: I highly recommend this restaurant.

Marc Bouchard

Food was great, and they had a good selection of local craft beer. Bartenders were friendly too!

Tara b

Although busy... This grilled cheese was well worth the wait!! Best grilled cheese I've ever had!! Becky, our server was wonderful and kept us happy!! Yum!! We'll be back!!

River Uygun

The Lunenburg Burger was the best burger I ever eat.

Jackson Glynn

Fast and kind service. Average pricing. The two main meals were disappointing. The fish and chips did not settle well. The fish was too greasy but the fries where at least good. Tiny portion of coleslaw. The fish cakes barely had any fish it it, was mostly mashed potatoes. The salad was the best part.

Christina Deveau

While the food was pretty good here and the waitress was nice, the food took FOREVER to come out. I had the seafood quartet (two bites missing in the photo), and it was just alright. We were a table of six plus a baby, and it was frustrating that the food took so long without any explanation (waitress didn’t come by and say it was coming soon, or ask if we wanted more drinks). I was excited to come here because of all the positive reviews, but I don’t think I’d recommend it based on the wait alone. Two people in our party had the fish cakes and they were cold when they got to the table. To be fair, we did not give the waitress the chance to fix this because we had already waited so long. Will definitely try somewhere else next time.

The Booku

Tried 3x to get seats here before we were finally able to find a spot at the bar one day. Needless to say, The Grand Banker is always busy! Did not try any mains, just the pretzel which came with 3 interesting dips (Nutella Sriracha was my favourite). There is a good variety of beers available on tap. Try the Propeller Stonefruit while its still available.

JoAnn Thompson

I found Jess our server's honesty refreshing. I asked if the salmin was wild or farmed. She told me farmed. Had the spinach dip instead, was also tasty. I recommend you eat here

Rachel Webber

The food choice was great and the view is spectacular. What killed it for me was the long wait time for our food. When it finally arrived, my fish cakes were cold. Before I was able to take a bite, a fly landed on one fish cake. I cut the portion off and ate the rest. I was too hungry at this point to send it back. The random beer selection my spouse got was great. Usually you only get four to five beers but I came with 7.

Kira W

Stopped by for lunch and was very impressed with my experience. The restaurant was at capacity but followed every covid protocol and was very clean. It wasn’t noisy, despite being busy, and the ambiance was very nice. I ordered the seafood stew and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous and it was loaded with seafood. The menu had lots of variety and the server was warm and offered personal suggestions. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Chris Sampson

Really enjoyed our two visits so far. Very friendly staff, excellent menu options especially during lobster crawl. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Andrew Prince

Bar scallops, canned shrimp, no lobster in the chowder paste with a little milk. Hope the mussels are better

Linda Todd

Excellent food and mimosas! Gluten-free options were great.

John MacInnis

I HIGHLY recommend the Acadian Seafood Stew. It has a little bit of heat to it, but it's absolutely !

Ryan Huurman

Absolutely incredible meal! Had the Seafood Scampi because I wanted to try mussels for the first time. The scampi had a really nice size portion of shrimp, scallops, mussels and fish. Loved the mussels so much that I ordered a pound of them! Thanks for a delicious meal! I'll always stop in when I'm in town!

Roger Bell

A treasure in historic Lunenburg! The setting and atmosphere were great. Arrive early to avoid waiting for a table. But even though we were 6th in line, the staff took great care of us and got us seated in a reasonable time. Our server, Michelle, was fantastic. Helpful with suggestions for food and drink, and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The food was spectacular. And for dessert, I highly recommend the bread pudding and the crème brûlée! Don't miss this wonderful dining experience during your Lunenburg visit.

Derek Taverner

We had a great time with the kids, they finished their meals without putting a fight! My wife loved her seafood stew and I don't like seafood or fish but their burger was very good. I took the chips and cheese dip side and it was excellent. Good beer selection. We'll come back if we visit the city again. Very crowded on a beautiful Summer day so expect to wait outside for a while even if you get there early.

Tricia W

It was probably the saddest seafood linguine I’ve ever had. I’m not sure there is a place for that much capers in the lemon better sauce which was watery to start with. All the seafood were bland & the fish was fishy. We also had the mussels. The portion was generous but the mussels were bland with little broth to dip them in. A nice waterfront spot but we were not impressed with the quality of the food.

Owen Wade

Delicious and quick service!

vincent bouchard

Good location but we were not impressed with the quality of the seafood. We had the haddock, the scallops and Cajun chowder

Matt Carpentier

Smoky porter - yumm. Grilled cheese with bacon jam - yumm. Quick and easy service - thanks!

Isabella Cuminato

Highly recommend this place! I think the Cajun Acadian Seafood Stew was one of the best meals I've had and the waiters are friendly and helpful.

Lindsay Cassidy

Excellent food, lots of options, not too long of a wait. Would go again

A Forge

Manmohan Manohara

Nathan James

Absolutely fantastic. Awesome staff

Harjinder Kaur

I was waiting for my guest and they let me wait for about 40mins…super friendly staff ????????

Bill Abbott

While visiting the maritimes on our annual summer rv excursion, we have stopped and tried many reputable restaurants that serve quality seafood chowder and authentic seafood dishes. This place is one of the best seafood restaurants we have experienced to date at very reasonable prices. A must try is their Cajun Seafood Stew...amazing!

Kraig Schwartz

The food and serve was awesome! I would recommend to anyone. Great spot!!

Woo Kim

This place was located at harbourfront and the building is very pretty with antique logo design. We went inside and they had great variety of fresh draft beers. We ordered Lunenberger (lobster on top of regular burger), fish cake (combination of mashed potato and fish), and artichoke olive flatbread and it was very delicious. I was very impressed by the great services that they gave free beers on the house when the food was coming slightly late!! I would recommend this place for sure:)

This Restaurant is definitely a great place to eat. The restaurant is always full of patrons and for good reason. The atmosphere is great along the Harbour. There is a large window facing the Harbour with views of the Bluenose, where it is parked for repairs for the winter. We got a private table in the back and enjoyed the privacy for our meal. The drinks were well mixed, tasted great and the appetizer we shared was awesome. The meals were clearly made with much attention to detail and tasted fantastic. Desserts were excellent and were the perfect way to end our dining experience. The lineup was out the door when we got up to leave. A great place to dine for sure!

Brittney K

We had an early dinner here and it was good. We had the lobster roll (which is $20 by the way) and nachos (I couldn't eat anymore seafood). Both were good...service was good (sat at the bar). They didn't seem to have a hostess or it seemed very unorganized at the front but maybe it's because we were there before the dinner rush? Overall, I'd recommend going.

Robert Frizzell

Great little resturant. The beer selection is good, the flights are reasonable and a good spread if local breweries.

Vikki Pink

Came here after searching the menu online while looking for somewhere to eat in Lunenburg. The restaurant entrance is towards the Harbour rather than the upper street. Due to COVID there are mask requirements and social distancing of course. But they’ve maintained their decor to seem less obvious about this. The menu has so many yummy options! I picked the lobster macaroni and cheese as I was informed the item would no longer be in the menu for the upcoming season. It’s considered an appetizer but is perfect for one. It was very delicious and had large chunks of lobster inside. Then I finished off with bread pudding which was so tasty and rich. I had a glass of Nova 7 (I was able to sample per server until I found a wine I enjoyed). The service was fantastic and the price was certainly affordable for the quality provided. I highly recommend this place and will be returning soon to try other menu items!

Aquiles M

Great food. Fish and Chips were awesome. The fries were freshly cut!. We'll come visit again!

Chris Martin

This is the place where social goes to die. What an unsupportive and non-social crew of staff. Keep it up team. The reviews are solid.

Mihiranga Hettige

Unfortunately the only table available was the booth beside the washrooms????. Tables with the view of the water looked nice. Food was tasty but pricy, small portion sizes

Gary swift

Absolutely fabulous. Cajun seafood stew was superb and reasonably priced. Follow that up with a server that made the evening even better. Great food great service at a reasonable price, why would you look anywhere else.

Dennis Fralic

Very busy restaurant patronised mostly by tourists. Moderately priced dishes and value for money

Kristina Srbljanin

Great tasting home made recipes. ceasar salad was amazing, only issue we had was the portion of the lobster roll... 20$ just for the sandwich and the lobster meat we had on it was a joke... barely had anything on it... more bread then anything... if you are looking for a traditional lobster roll this is not place for it. Other then that food was great, staff was friendly and the beer was great!

D Prizzon

Best meal I have had out since the Pandemic eased. Food was prepared by a staff that absolutely cares about what they serve. Had a meal in Halifax the night before for twice the price, but half as good.

Beer menu - Good selection of classics and odd ball beers that are hard to find ($18, rotating fleet, 7 5oz beers). Recommend trying the habanero Cesar ($12)! It comes with a grilled shrimp and a bacon wrapped scallop as a garnish. The scallop was awesome. So juicy and fresh. Definitely bang for your buck. Fried cheese curds ($12) - This was gooey goodness. A one time try for me. It was accompanied by a garlic sriracha which is not spicy but still tasty. Make sure you squeeze lemon onto the curds. Beef tenderloin sandwich ($15) - This one was a good choice. Loved the balsamic onions and the beef was cooked to perfection. Lobster Mac and Cheese ($19) - I liked that they used a good fussilli pasta as it held onto the sauce really well. The lobster was great but I felt the cheese sauce could have used a bit more gooey cheese. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Good covid-19 precautions were in place with masks and barriers present. Overall, I'd recommend a visit if you are in Lunenburg!

Rhonda Cox

Wonderful seaside view, Fast and friendly service! Lobster roll is delicious and great value for the fish and chips!

Mykle Jay

The seafood platter and lobster mac and cheese were to die for! Such a pleasant patio, lovely staff and amazing locations. It was our go to spot!

P Pahl

Excellent Fish N Chip! Great service, I will be back for sure!

Linda T

I’m not a huge seafood fan but being in Nova Scotia I had to try the lobster. I must say, it was delicious. The meat was sweet and tender. The price was steep though $42. The seafood chowder was light and fresh, not overly rich, abundance of fish, scallops etc. One of the best chowders I’ve had. Fish and chips was a bit greasy but the crust was good, fish tasted fresh and flakey.

Helen Shields

We had a superb dinner two nights ago and decided to return for our last meal in Lunenburg, I decided to repeat my first night's experience as it was absolutely amazing the first time. The seafood chowder was fantastic once again but the …

The reason why I’m giving this place 5* is simply because everything was on point. We ordered 7 items and they were all good. Service was fast and staff very nice. If you are in Lunenberg I highly recommend this place.

Larry Weatherby

Fantastic little restaurant right next to the bluenose. The seafood is really good - try the oysters! The beer selection excellent and really friendly service. If you are here in the summer during the main tourist season there will likely be a long wait as it's extremely busy.

Alan Goodwin

Large menu.Mostly seafood but, they had a tenderloin steak that was fantastic. Good wine and liquor menu. Great service.
