Went here because my 2013 Santa Fe was having engine issues related to a turbo sensor/ DTS error. Car was in limp mode due to issue. I was initially concerned that I wouldn't get the proper service needed on my SUV because they had a number of apprentices working with only 2 full time mechanics on site. Happy to say they figured it out with a quick call to Hyundai as there was a known bulletin issue about this error back from 2011 in a turbo Sonatas. They had me on my way in relative short order and at minimal cost. They didn't try and push other repairs or services, nor did they make more out of what was wrong with my car. Nice to see some honesty.

Bought some tires online to have them installed in-store. After a week without any news I called and was told they already had the tires (would have been great to know...). I then left the car for the tire change only to have the wrong tires installed. I was told they would 'do something with the invoice due to the error' which ended being 10$ off which really isn't much on a 800$ invoice. Finally, I was charged to have the tires balanced only to have to pay another garage to redo the job since they had been horribly balanced. FYI balancing tires is very simple since most of the process is automated.

I love Canadian Tire. This store is good for both car service, and tools and other items. Every spring I buy my flowers here, as they have the ones I like. Staff is always helpful, if at times difficult to find in peak hours. There are almost always carriages.

Very very bad customer services, staff is very arrogant. Also the store is very disorganised. they have these very huge carts that occupy almost more than half of each section, I couln't even look at anything without somebody asks me to move. There is lots of hordings in the store, because of that that is very difficult to circulate. I also think that this place is not safe for the young kids, while they are moving around, they can easly hit their head on something or some materials can fall down on them

Typical Canadian Tire store which is a heaven for buying tools and home repair equipment. However you cannot shake the feeling that they are always missing on that one tool that you happen to be looking for that exact day, which is a common feeling in all saint eustache stores i guess. Dislike their garage they are more expensive, you don't see what they do to your car (mechanic behind a closed door), and they always find something wrong with my car.

The sales floor did not have many staff. Most staff were positioned at the cash. It was difficult to find the right person to speak to, but once I had found a salesperson he was knowledgeable of the store layout and pointed me in the right direction. I was a bit disappointed with the young man (30ish) who served me. I needed a tail light for my car. He said it would cost $16. to install it. I know this takes about 2 minutes to do. I explained that I am a regular customer, that he can look at the thousands of dollars I've spent this year alone at Canadian Tire, and that I think they should put a light in for free. I know they have installed my wipers free in the past. His answer to me was, no matter how many times I take my dog to the Vet, the Vet keeps changing me. I answered this is a GARAGE, not a Vet. I bought the light and found a friend to help me install it. I've never been disappointed with Can Tire in the past, they are always so helpful.

Long time customer of the store, purchased a kids bike and the bearings in the pedal mechanism fell out. Bike is 3.5 months old. I didn't have my receipt and was told that they can't warranty it. I asked if they can look up the receipt in their system, I was told they couldn't. I asked if they could look it us using the rewards system, they said no. I left with the bike, instead of paying to have the bike repaired I went to wal-mart and purchased a new bike for my 5 year old. Decided to call corporate customer relations for Canadian Tire and ask the same questions and was told different answers. They said that the receipts can be looked up if I had paid debit, credit and or used rewards within 12 months which I did. Called back to the local Canadian Tire and they do some backtracking saying that it was just the individual store policy to look up the receipts or not. They then asked if I wanted the bike repaired and I said no, refund or store credit, they said no. Bike was not needed after buying a new one elsewhere. It only takes the one bad service experience to loose a customer.

I made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes late and they wouldn’t serve me. They were shockingly rude. She started screaming at me that it was going to mess up their whole system. I kindly explained that I just spent 4 hours cleaning my car out from a horrific snow storm and 5 minutes late was not the end of the world. Look at all these people waiting... I understand but I made an appointment last week. Anyway, I can’t comment on the quality of the service they offer if it’s anything like the staff I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay away! There are better places to go.

Took car for service. Vehicle was clearly not test driven after repair. Had to return to have work completed properly the following Monday. Car still has issues. I have to take it to the dealer to see what is causing the problems. I think they punctured my resonator when doing the other work.

Great service and products. Was looking to stop the squeaking of my fan belt and a fog lamp bulb and the service guy was able to find a few options for me to choose from. Would be 5 stars but the store is akin to a walmart with too many unrelated products. Getting out of there was like through a maze. Took only a few minutes to get what I needed but almost 20min to checkout.

I went there to buy a headlight for my vehicle. Can’t complain except that the former mechanic at a different location gave me the wrong info but that was only because of his English barrier. I do want to thank him for showing me how to replace the bulb by myself and save labour costs. So for that I am giving Canadian tire four stars. Being from the States this is a great little store. We do not have the Canadian tire. The store had a great selection and everything we needed. We were on a trip North in a motor home pulling a Jeep. We were able to pick up several miscellaneous supplies that were unexpected to be found in one place. Service with a smile as well... didn't hurt.

This store gets no stars from me even if I put 1 start. It wont allow you to post if you don't put at least 1 star. This is the worst Canadian Tire of all. You call and you are always placed on hold and they never come back to answer you. I tested it and I was on hold for 33 minutes before I hung up. I called back and I was frustrated explaining to her and asking what the problem is. I get no answers but put back on hold for another 20 minutes before I hung up. The girl that answers the phone is always rude, young and never helpful because she does not give a damn. Before you go there do research on items you wish to purchased because you wont get help there. And no one thinks further than their nose. I go there as I know what to get and get out but if you don't...LOL Good luck!!!

Worst experience ever! I understand that it is a busy time of year and that is why I proceeded with curb side to avoid any headache and long lines. Well well, was this a disappointment. I was better off going to the store and purchasing the items myself. The staff member hand no manners, did not verify that it was in fact the correct person picking up the order, and slammed my trunk closed then went about her business! I have a better experience at the Saint Jacques location; staff are much friendlier and your order is processed within the estimated time given! I unfortunately could not shop that location as the items I wanted were sold out. I will definitely rethink this location in the future!

I bought winter tires & Rims here on-line and had to go in for a work order to get them balanced. (It's early fall and I switch out my own wheels to winter) You should offer that on-line too. Waste of time for your customers. So I had to go twice...???? Worse yet, there was some confused guy here making me go to parts counter too then back in line for the only service guy on duty who was very slow on the computer. I'll pass on using them in the future and go to a different C.T.

Did not honor price as on shelf at checkout. I took a photo of the item on the shelf before going to the checkout. The price was wrong at checkout. The cashier called the manager. The manager admitted she changed the price after we picked up the product when she was doing the price check. Horrible customer service. Not one price one the shelf was the price the item was being scanned at. Even the price in store is different than online. They blamed the customer for not matching the bar code numbers when their whole shelf is wrongly priced

The auto service is horrible and they always try to oversell. I went to their auto service for winter tire change 4 years ago. The manager quoted me for extra brake change for like $400. After I refused that, they broke my car battery and I had to pay $120 for a new battery. 4 years after they asked to change me brake, my car still brakes great.

Got my car worked on there today. This morning they said there were no appointments until the next day and then I drop it off and they say well maybe we can have a look at it turns around they looked at it and fixed it in a few hours. The problem was the horn they installed wasn't working properly and the serpentine belt came off after the alternator they put on. I was going to put the belt on myself but I noticed the air conditioning belt was still on there and it was a difficult task to remove it then put the serpentine belt on and put the AC belt back on so I took it to Canadian Tire to have them look at the horn anyway. I got a bill for a starting charging inspection of $35 and a bill for an air conditioner compressor belt for 5 0.33. I get in the car I drive at home the air conditioner don't work now and the horn still doesn't work. Not happy will change my review if tomorrow they fix everything

Not only did one of the Canadian Tire Gestapo follow me around the store to make sure I was wearing my mask "properly " she lied right to my face about being told repeatedly by another SS guard that my mask was not properly affixed to my face. My advice to the two mask prefects is quit pulling your power trip on people and maybe put some of your product on the shelf instead of leaving it in the aisles

Continue the entire in LaSalle is a big one that has lots of parking room. I went there for what I wanted, that I had seen on the sales circular and I had chosen my Canadian Tire store onlineand even knew which aisle the item was supposed to be in. I actually couldn't see it in that aisle and asked a Canadian Tire wrap to help me and he knew where it was right away from the picture on my smartphone. Very helpful.. it was a digital caliper with its own plastic fold-over bots, and done in metal. At $30.49 I thought it was very good although I had a less expensive by far the did the same job but plastic. at the cash everything was quick with one of those automated things that lights up and tells you which cash to go to.. unfortunately my cashier kept me there for a good ten minutes as she struggled to make her credit card reading machine work and I said I'll just go over there and she said no stay and it was very frustrating and I finally went to somebody else's cash and they didn't have any trouble accepting my American Express card at all!. And yes they scan my Canadian Tire triangle points thingie card. 1 handicap slot was available when I part sew my car wasn't too far away with all the others were completely full even though it's a huge. overall, except for the cashiers machine not working to read my credit card, it was fast and easy.

Worst auto department in all of Niagara. They treat you like dirt and have a attitude, They will fix thing you dint ask for and then charge you for it! They will tell you one thing on the phone and in person it's a different story/price. Do yourself a favor and get your car service anywhere else. This Canadian tire is Independently owned and the owner/manager will not take any responsibility for there auto department actions. I had to call the 1-800 number (Canadian tire corporate office, CT) To get my money back. Would never recommend to anyone ,worst experience ever.

I'm happy enough with the service I received at the garage. Patrick, who called me to make my appointment, and Max at the counter were efficient and friendly. The installation of the new winter tires took far too long (1h30), even though it was started on right away, but I suspect that's due to a shortage of personnel (they have a sign advertising for tire changers). As usual, I'm not thrilled with Canadian Tire procedures, though. The warranty stated online does not tell the whole story, so I felt deceived when asked if I wanted to buy the REPLACEMENT ADVANTAGE warranty. Not having had the chance to research this beforehand, I took it. As far as I can see, I'm not sure if it's worth it. Furthermore, the bill is almost impossible to understand -- just like those store bills with their incomprehensible item abbreviations. I only bought here because I discovered I needed new tires immediately. So far, my Firestones are much quieter than the last winters I had.

Absolutely horrible place to shop. Went in for wall anchors. An employee stopped and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told him what I was looking for and he just said "Oh, good question. I don't know, sorry" and walked away. When I finally found them and got to cash there were two customers in front of me. The cashier was checking if another store location had an item the first customer was looking for because this location didn't. When she finally resolved that. The next customer's item scanned at a different price than on the shelf. So the cashier leaves the till with the customer for 5 minutes to go find where the item was. Absolutely horrid customer service. When I got home to install the wall anchors they were garbage. 4 out of 6 of them broke off in my wall or destroyed the drywall. Now I'm left with a frustrating repair that wouldn't be necessary if their product actually did what it was supposed to.

Avoid this garage. Book an appointment at 8am? Be prepared to arrive an hour early otherwise it will take seven hours for them to even look at your car -then try to sell you repairs that aren't necessary and weren't asked for after an "inspection". The cost of your seven hours of waiting? 10% off of parts. From out of province? Don't even bother with this place. Unprofessional and rude staff.

My sisters took her car in a month ago for a trailer hitch. After having lunch locally, she returned to pick up the car and was told there is a leaking gas tank so the work could not be done. She decided to get a second opinion from another repair shop and was told that there is absolutely no hole or leak anywhere in the gas tank. Would be 5 stars but the store is akin to a walmart with too many unrelated products. Getting out of there was like through a maze. Mechanics actually look for cheaper ways to fix your vehicle for you, but often it's less expensive to buy the part yourself elsewhere. Some of the parts counter clerks are really truly terrible; they pass of parts before confirming they are the correct one. Most recently I pulled out my Honda Civic's thermostat to realize the one they sold me is not even close to the same; I can't put the old one back as the gasket is not reusable. I was lucky there was a Honda dealer within walking distance. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened. I won't buy parts from this Canadian Tire again. The rest of the store and staff are always wonderful. Great fishing selection offsets my huge disappointment with the parts counter.

I had a bad experience here a few years ago, I had an assistant manager get very nasty with me when discussing the nuances of the Scanner Code of Conduct after s product scanned higher and he did not want to honor the policy. When I complained to the head office the complaint feel on deaf ears and I never heard back from the manager of the store. For the most part I try not to buy from Canadian Tire, and let's be honest they is very little that you can buy from Canadian Tire that you can't get at Walmart, possibly for less.

The Cooper Zeon RS3 G1 Tires that I bought were cheapest at CDN. Tire. Almost half the price of the most expensive competitor! Plus, to my knowledge, CDN Tire is the only place offering road hazard insurance ($12 per tire). This is an absolute godsend on our horrible roads. Purchased a replacement battery, for Mazda 3 2008 GT 2.3L Auto, their computers gave me the wrong battery. Advised I had to add a 2x4 piece of WOOD as the battery was too small, they blamed me stating I was wrong and the computer is correct, even showed them the original battery core was different. They advised there was nothing they could do, as the computer is correct. I have no modifications to my vehicle and they were unwilling to help me further. Forced to go there to buy small things because of the small town, and it's always a bother to get assistance, or they lie that they don't carry something, even though I just found it on there large computer in the front of the store..called them out...then they circled back and said it must be Out of Stock. Asked if I could order it, and said no.....i'm always pleasant to the cashiers even though the part people didn't know about my battery.....still bad customer service as well.

I call back and press 0 for customer service....went to voice-mail. So I called back and tried 3 different random departments before I finally got someone in sporting goods. He is the only reason there's any stars. He actually went and found the person who was supposed to be doing curbside pickups and sent him out to me. So I finally got my item....no apologies. No acknowledgement at all that no one was answering. I understand there's a labour shortage and that may have affected this situation but it was still a negative experience.

I do not recommend this Canadian Tire Service at all. I left my car this morning around 8:30 to change tires and oil. The employee told me my car would be ready around 1pm. I came back at 2pm and my car was still parked at the exactly same spot I had left in the morning. I asked the employee why my car was still sitting outside, and why he told me my car would be ready around 1pm when he clearly knew it wouldn’t. He told me he gives people approximative hours. That would’ve been true if my car was ready at 2pm, but it wasn’t even close to be. I took my key back and went back home. Never going back there.

Multiple bad experiences at this CT. Asked what type of wipers to get for my Nissan Versa Note. Guy at Auto Parts counter gave wrong information multiple times. Said I should buy two 28" wipers. Needed an oil change and was near Canadian Tire. Decided against my better judgement to give them a last shot. Started off well. They called to ask followup questions regarding wipers (one was a little too old). We sat in the waiting room at Canadian Tire for almost 2.5 hours. We look outside to see a car similar to ours at one point. Assume it's not ours because they haven't called us yet and they "always call" (their words). I finally walk outside to find out it IS ours. I walked back in to ask why it's been there for an hour and they haven't called us. Similar reaction to my previous experience. Man at the counter shrugs his shoulders. I understand bad customer service, but it feels like the employees are actively trying to dissuade people from visiting this location.

Okay so Canadian Tire here by angrignon street right across from angrignon Shopping Center so this Canadian Tire is definitely a good one the people here are very nice they have smiles and they will stop what you're doing to help you out I'm just not much of a wait time they're very accurate which is great and they are locked. And this is one of the only Canadian Tires in Montreal when they have a special on where they don't run out of stock so I say I give it a five-star all Canadian tires are good but this one definitely has your back no matter when you call me no more what you're looking for they will always have it in stock

I had two bad experiences at other Canadian Tire locations and decided to try this one out for my Vehicle Import Inspection. The guy on the phone was helpful and once I reached, the guy Reny ( / Remy? ) was helpful throughout. He explained to the correctly the forms and procedures required, and when we figured out that I had to install DRL, directed me to a dealership nearby. Was receptive and helpful when I came back and I got my inspection done super fast.

Absolutely horrible for online shopping. I ordered a snow blower online in early September, and received a call that they would ship it to me the next week on a specific date. When they never showed up, I had to chase them down to find out why (turns out the snow blower was missing parts). A back-and-forth between me, customer service, and managers at the Canadian Tire went on for more than 1.5 months, with the last manager telling me not to worry, since it was mid-October and there wasn’t any snow on the horizon. Lo’ and behold, snow forecast on Monday. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever received from an online retailer. The customer support reps were great, and cancelled my order with no problems, but the guys at this Canadian Tire had absolutely no idea what they were doing. If you’re thinking of ordering anything from them this holiday season, look somewhere else.

I had previously had a very low opinion of this CTC but it seems there has been an owner change sometime in the recent past and I have to say it is like night and day. The staff, including the owner and Floor Managers go above and beyond to help. My opinion has changed so much that a Family member recently noticed I was shopping here again and that I actually praised their service. Here is an AWESOME example of the caring and trouble the staff and management will go through to help. Recently it was Our Niece's daughters Birthday and currently there is the AWFUL stay at home order. We had to go for groceries so We thought We'll do a drive by when We were out. Went online to order a foil helium balloon of a LARGE (3') cat and found that service was NOT available online. I thought I'll call but wasn't expecting much. To my nice surprise the very pleasant young woman that answered the phone said She would talk to the manager and see if it was possible. He came on the phone, got my name and number and said He would call back within 5 minutes. He did and said He would send me a link to pay an auto service bill in the amount of the balloon. I paid it, drove to the store and the balloon was ready. You would not believe the JOY that was expressed in our "grand" Niece's face when She saw Us and the HUGE balloon. Thank-You so much to the Staff and Management of the PORT COLBORNE CANADIAN TIRE, at this dismal time We are in right now. We will always remember Your kind Hearts.

Hard to find employees to help with questions. The return desk gave me a ton of attitude the one time I decided it was a good idea to order online and pick it up, I recommend not using online ordering at this particular store, it will take you easily twice as long. The auto services tried to sell me fuel injection cleaning services on my less than a year old brand new car, saying my performance was less than half. They decided to inspect my car without asking me when I bought winter tires in order to upsell. was total BS, confirmed by the dealer of all places as well as an independent mechanic I also asked. Won't ever trust CT with anything car related because of it, which sucks because everyone says not to go to CT for car stuff and i was trying to give them benefit of the doubt until this.

Terrible service at this store. Messy with way to much stock, always sold out of whatever actually is worth buying. Bought a ping pong table 10 days before Christmas, when I built it Christmas morning it was broken in 3 different places. I was unable to return it due to covid 19 restrictions however the person at returns said to come back on Feb 8 when the restrictions are lifted and it wont be a problem. Went back today and guess what....... "Sorry sir we don't give refunds on opened items and its been longer than 30 days" total morons can't figure out basic logic when you speak. I had to argue and repeat my situation 3-4 times before the store manager finally gave the ok. Then they try to explain about offering a credit instead of my cash back. So you buy something cash, its broken in the box and they have a policy for a credit? Terrible service, terrible policy. Last time I purchase something other than a hammer or toilet paper!

My younger brother lives in Port Colborne, this is his local Canadian Tire store. I live in Toronto. I wanted to send him some things, so I ordered online so he could go pick the things, already paid for. My brother is deaf. He is vulnerable and has anxiety because some people are very impatient, rude and mean to him. I called ahead to make sure things would be simple for him. I was directed on the phone to speak with John in Online Orders. I told John my younger brother would be taking a cab to get there and I wanted his experience of picking up his things to be nice and seamless. I also wanted my brother to be able to get store credit in case he didnt like any of what I chose for him. John was very compassionate and went out of his way to assure me that he would have the things ready for him at the Customer Service desk. I guess for most folks you need to go around to the back of the store, they have lockers, all sorts of things which might cause panic in my brother. I wanted to completely avoid any drama at all. John said he would endorse my brothers things to get store credit if he wanted to exchange things. I am very grateful for people like John. Most people, very sadly, have no patience, understanding for vulnerable people. They have no idea what they deal with on a daily basis. How dismissive and harsh even people in Customer Service can treat someone as vulnerable as my younger brother is ragingly unfair. I feel very proud when people like John at the Port Colborne store step up with great tender care to giving a helping hand so our disabled, unfortunate people can have as pleasant an experience as the regular guy does. We take so much for granted and people like John take nothing for granted. People like John make Canadian Tire and the world at larger a better place. Thank you. People matter more than things. Although really great things at a reasonable price is always wonderful too.

Can the cashiers be any less friendly. Twice I've been twice the cashiers don't say hello, don't say a word. When the items are done being rung up, they just stand there expecting you to say how you want to pay without even saying how much the total is. After paying, still not a word. Self-checkout systems, with their robotic voices, are more friendly. I would much rather self-checkout anyways.

During one visit to this store, the staff were very unprofessional and I waited 20 minutes to speak with someone about having a tank filled while watching at least five employees walking around chatting. In November there was a promotion where you get a free oil change if you purchase four tires and had them installed. The instructions were to text your invoice number to a certain number and wait for a response. Three months later I called the store because I received no information about it. They gave me a customer service number that was invalid. I returned to the store with this information and they told me I received a booklet with the promotion and that a lot of people are having this issue. I re explained that this was a different promotion and the person at the counter tried to get his supervisor to speak to me but he just said there was nothing they could do without out even pausing to acknowledge me as he walked by. I was given the same number and went back in a few minutes later to tell them that the number was invalid. The person I initially spoke with was there and his superior told me that they were given the customer service paper and there was nothing they could do about my situation and something along the lines of them having nothing to do with the promotion. He added something about asking at the front for valid number. I would like to add that I found the phone number myself and that Canadian Tire customer service was excellent and they solved my issue right away. At the store however, I felt ignored and disrespected. As someone who works with customers, I know that there are persistent customers who are demanding and expect you to solve things out of your control but I feel that the way I was treated was uncalled for. The least they could have done was to call their own customer service and ask for the number and apologize for their inability to assist me with a promotion offered through their store. I would have also appreciated if the supervisor would have taken 10 seconds to look at me and allow me to ask my question even if his co worker had already responded.

I've been the one doing the shopping for a large family during the entire pandemic. I also have worked full time in the service industry during the entire Pandemic. In every retail store of every type I've been to from the east end of Ottawa to Toronto and everywhere in between during the last seven months employees everywhere make the best of a bad situation and understand that were all in this together, and that being difficult and projecting a negative attitude makes it worse. We wear the masks, we maintain the six feet and follow the markers on the floors , we use the really bad quality sanitizers that big corporations ask us to use because their too cheap to provide the regular sanitizer they bring home for their families , we use carts when we don't need them because you asked , and we do all this so we can put you at ease and expect civility. This is not something that is apparent to the all of cashiers at this particular Canadian Tire location. Oh and thanks for making a six year old cry.....stay classy CT Perth!

Nice store, not too small or too big. Fairly complete and we'll stocked. Easy to locate and to get in and out of. This location also fills propane, including being able to fill tanks that are not remove able from big rigs. A little snug getting around the fill station if folks have parked near it but very doable. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. The one thing I wish is that they would set up a service to deliver large items, like a shed. I know we are an hour away but that kind of service means a lot to us and we would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for it. I highly recommend this store.

We went 1 hour before closing to buy a specific product that was on sale. We took the usual walk around the store (you know… to look around, not to spend more money or anything ????) & ended up confused a few times because the same products we’re spread out & showed different prices… a little messy. We did find the product we were looking for & we’re very happy with it. Another thing is that since it was close to closing time there was a line up at the cash & there were only 2 cashiers so it was a bit slow.

As the signs said, they are short of personnel at the auto center & customers should be understanding. Fair enough. But 2.5 hours to change tires with attendants repeatedly saying it's almost ready while not even looking in the garage (which was pretty much desolate during the lunch hour & my car remaining on the lift perpetually) has permanently soured me on Canadian Tire for the bi-annual tire changing affair. For what it's worth, my business will go elsewhere.

Was worried about my tires, air pressure off or soon to be a flat and needed replacing. Though they were extremely busy, they said to drive my car around and would take a look. Tires were off and caps near locked as were metal. Mechanic recognized it was an easy fix for them, unlocked and replaced tire caps and fixed air pressure back to where it should be. Seem to be a great team of professionals working together.

Canadian Tire is as good as any other hardware/convenience store. But I have to rate this specific location 1 star for two reasons. First and foremost is the Automobile Parts Department. Words cannot describe the lack of respect the employees here have for their clients, they are not to be confused with the actual mechanic shop. Second, the return policy at this store is not competitive with their peers like Walmart, etc... so why shop there?
