The scum of society! Made their money on interest the first 2 years of my mortgage then chose not to renew and give no reason for it. I HOPE THESE GUYS GO BANKRUPT but with them leeching off ppl that might not be the case

After a lengthy back and forth with a CSR who seems fairly incompetent at reading (after trying the phone line), I've discovered there is no capacity with this lender to issue electronic (mortgage!) statements, unless you pay up $25. This is comedic in 2022 - to pay for a statement by email, and have to wait for the (free?) mailed version, which presumably costs CWB more to send...? If someone higher up in the company could get in touch with me with a solution, I'll be happy to hear from you.

As a mortgage broker who has worked with CWB Optimum for a number of years I can say that their products, broker and customer service is excellent. Specifically I have had many positive experiences with Joe Fogetti. He called my back after 5pm on a Friday, because he wanted to check if I had everything I needed. If you honour your obligations to your mortgage lender and are looking for a great partner and provider of loans for homeowners, CWB Optimum is a great organization to do business with.

I would give minus 1 star. Linda C hates Mounties! She treated us with such little respect...talked over us and was more worried about telling us about her 25 yrs in the business than truly assisting us get a good rate with this company. She is a terrible representative for any company. We presented the same paperwork to Scotia and got 1.45% rate vs the 3.69% "best offer" Optimum could come up with. THEN they took out a payment after we closed out our acct with them! What an a bunch of clowns! Steer clear unless you are desperate.

Worst mortgage company. Everyone hides behind a phone can't even get a meeting with anyone. Just a company ran over the phones. Employees take things personally and hold grudges on clients and insult them accusing them of having no money. Selling my house just to get rid of this mortgage company.
