The Truth

Was doing my taxes here from 2015-2018 I was reassessed in 2019 because my taxes were filed incorrectly. When brought to their attention, they had nothing to say except "our bad" and then tried to book me a new appointment for that seasons taxes. Go elsewhere, they're incompetent. Edit: Called as the response requested, no answer. My review stands.

Went and did my taxes and got back a few grand but they made a mistake with my graduation retention tax exemption which caused cra to do an assessment which h&r owed me 341$ so the next year they billed me exactly 341$ after doing my taxes over the 457$ they billed me already. Had an excellent experience with the oldr fella from a few yrs ago but now the business is losing its reputation.

Whatever you do, just don't use Mohammad. He made a mistake, I asked him to correct it. He refused and said it didn't matter. It did matter, it cost me almost $400. H & R block said they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase the peace of mind insurance. Mohammad I want my money!

Very terrible, and unprofessional employees. They did not send off my fathers taxes until he called CRA and CRA told him H&R did not file he taxes, so my father phoned H&R in Prince Albert and asked multiple times why they didn't send them, and they gave the same answer each time "they accidentally missed placed his file" and he went there to file for them on March 11th and he was told he would be receiving his direct deposit in 10-14 days it's been 19 days since. And now he has to wait another 5-10 days cause they're filing them today. and he also got hung up by one of they're so called "Proffesional Employees" . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

My bf has been getting his taxes done there for a years and this year she asked for a bunch of things she should NOT have been asking for. And when my boyfriend questioned why he had to sign a very strange paper, she was extremely rude to him, even though she never once asked one of us for certain things. Don't go to H&R block, something fishy is going on there.

DONT GET YOUR TAXES DONE HERE. price gouged horribly and sub standard preparation and surprise they charged us 19 times more than normal and said it was because we had to pay taxes instead of getting a refund. Poor business standards. Great way to lose a good long term customer. Will never return.

WAS A RETURNING CUSTOMER FOR 5 PLUS YEARS DEALING WITH THE SAME EMPLOYEE EVERY TIME. 2016 TAX SEASON, NEW EMPLOYEES. MY RETURN SUDDENLY DISSAPEARED ON HER COMPUTER AFTER WAITING 45 FOR A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. they charge way to much . very unprofessional also they will do your taxes and pay you upfront but when there's a mistake made on their end and they admit it they still send you a bill to pay if back and add interest on it as well. and when you try and get a hold of someone to figure out the problem its a constant game of them passing the buck to someone else and trying to get a response when you call. i will never go back to that business ever again
