Becare full of this bank people they control how you use your bank account. They also forece you to close your account if you are doing to many Etransfers in and out of the account. Westminster Savings is the worse bank I have ever dealt with.

I have been a loyal customer since Prospera first opened & it used to be fantastic, with excellent customer service as well.... Not the same anymore at all... now you are not open on Saturdays any more, and have also made other account / banking changes that I am not happy with, as well. Definitely not as good as it used to be, before the merger.

When moving from CIBC to prospera they where very understanding and efficient with moving my money and investments, and reimbursed me for what CIBC charged me to take the money out of my account. The only thing is when I go in to see a teller, some of them seem annoyed that you’re even waiting in line.

Not only the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a bank, but the worst customer service experience I have ever received. Prospera loan process is painful and unpleasant, not to mention loong. Poor communication and requirements seem to change daily. Not to mention forcing a higher interest rate if you dont take their insurance, which is not right. Would highly recommend steering away from prospera credit union. I have been banking there for 10 years now with never asking for or needing anything from them...and to get treated this badly the one time I require something from my bank....I will be moving on. Customer loyalty to prospera means nothing to them.

I have been promised 2 days in a row, that they would get a letter out to me over something that was their mistake to begin with.I even phoned long distance both days, was told the papers were being faxed right away then you would get a call.Being a business owner I do know a fax does not take 48 hours.Horrible customer service

Very disappointed in the level of service ever since the merger with Westminster Savings. My branch locks the ATM after hours, and the App AND mobile website has had many issues for over a year now since it's last update to the point it feels unusable. Pretty tough to do banking without access to your account after their working hours, especially when I work the same times.

I have been involved with credit union s and even worked for the Kelowna and District Credit Union. But never worked for Prospera. I trust them so much. Wonderful staff, aways so willing to help. You definitely will get 5 stars

UPDATE** The district manager is working with us to sort out our issues. We asked for life and disability on our mortgage. We were quoted and accepted. This was three years ago. We were just informed now that we don't have it and that they "forgot" to send in the documents. At that time I was healthy. I still am but have a condition that won't allow me to be covered. It's my opinion that they should cover me in the condition I was in three years ago. We have all of the documentation yet no insurance. They said "didn't you notice the payments not coming out"? We understood that the payments were in our mortgage because when we did that the woman was quoting us a total monthly cost including that. Turns out they were separate. I have reached out to have this dealt with over and over and over again and to no solution. I strongly recommend you do not do business with this branch. Or any Westminster Savings branches. More too follow and going to be pasting this on Facebook and boosting it a hundred dollars a week. Should reach a few thousand a week that way. Unless of course the fix this.

When the other big banks treat you as a number, this banking facility makes you feel special. We highly recommend the Vernon Prospéra for your financial institution.

I have been a client of Prospera Credit Union for many years. Personally and through my businesses. I am in both Vernon and Kelowna branches frequently. The customer service has always been friendly and helpful. The staff in all departments go above and beyond to make sure all my bank needs are taken care of. I have dealt with the big box banks in the past and I never received the service I do from Prospera Credit Union. I highly recommend Prospera Credit Union in Vernon and Kelowna. (I only have experiences at these branches)
