The customer service has gone quite horrendous this year,they are way less helpful than any other bmo branch.for simple transactions they make you feel like you're asking a favour from them. Also i understand its covid,but the service is very slow here. At any time of day you can expect to wait 45+minutes. Im done with them

The folks at this bank have always been most helpful and being right downtown is so convenient. With Covid they have done their best to meet customers needs and the restrictions and access have gotten easier. They are of course encouraging patrons to use their online services and ATM when possible.

Like other reviews long term customer but... I needed a particular form from this bank. The teller had some difficulty and said 'I can't get it to work'. She fiddled with it and eventually printed a form. At home I realised she had given the opposite form than the one required [had me as payor rather than payee - a slight difference]. Returned the next day, waited in line. Same teller. Explained problem - at which time said 'well I told you yesterday that I couldn't print it so I gave you that one'. No apology. She said there is nothing I can do - at which time her coworker next to her said, oh you can do those manually. After that she did it - the correct form. No apology, no thank you. I have banked with BMO for decades. Worst service ever. Train your staff in customer relations please. My attitude, demeanour throughout was professional - I wish BMO had their staff do the same.

Bank?1 No, no, no. This was a waste of time really. These are all but ATMs with no real person to talk to but google labeled it as a bank and not ATM and from the pictures you can't see if it's what you need. What I need is a Teller that could provide a service a machine hasn't been programed yet to perform. Half points for a half lie.

Had a certified check deposited, with confirmation from the teller that no hold would be put on it, but Infact had a 10 day hold placed on it. Spoke to the manager, and was told there was absolutely nothing she could do about it and offered no resolutions of any sort to the problem. Asked to speak to someone in customer service to make a complaint and was told she was the manager. Absolutely no help. Will not be dealing with BMO much longer

Bmo social club. Very long wait times always understaff. Went there 3 times in one month to update my address and today my wallet was stolen so I call and they tell me I can’t order a new card because the address on file does not match. Well if your employees done there job the first time I wouldn’t have to go back there 3 times. And I would be able to get a new card. Long time customer gone. Maybe they will start serving tea and crumpets at the till

Terrible Banking institution in general, coupled with the management at this location and their general un willingness to help I am left wishing I could leave a worse review yet. Give your head a shake folks, what manager tells an account holder that cash withdrawals are at their discretion and on a case specific basis as to total of cash withdrawal. Can not cancel our account fast enough.

Called BMO 3 times today and on hold for over 6 hours in total. Had to hang up second time to go pick up daughter after being on hold for 2hrs. All to talk to them for 2 miniutes. Guy that ansered phone was pleasant and solved problem at their end in 2 miniutes.

The Bank of Montreal in Penticton has terrible customer service. Waits as long as 30 minutes before you can reach a teller. No business wicket. I have had to wait 3 times for 30 minutes before reaching a teller in the last month
