I started my application online but ran into some issues with information required. The next day a representative called me to help me complete the application over the phone. My employment situation is unusual, but Sherry helped me track down all the paperwork I needed. Once she had all the information, she submitted the application. I had approval by mid-afternoon the following day, and once I signed the papers, I had the etransfer in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable, and friendly. In fact, my only complaint is the interest rate - it is VERY high - but I suppose that goes with the territory.

Well it's like this I have been trying to get a loan through easy financial for probably a year or to now and the girls in the St Thomas Ontario Store have really tried to get me approved my credit on really good and still got turned down but for some miracle this past Tuesday one of the girls called me and said they could get me approved up to a $1000 I took it and after trying for so long with good credit I have and the girls were always puzzled why I never got accepted and it was very disappointing when you need money to help pay off some bills it felt so good to go to sleep that night and wake up with no stress those girls are amazing at the store they truly are amazing and cute to lol so they deserve a big good job because not only did they help me when I got there to sign the paperwork they had tried to call me to tell me not to come in we would do everything online but when I got there because I did not hear my phone ring so I got there and the door was locked the girl came to the door and said we tried to call you back there was a customer that was in and tested positive for covid so I give a amazing job well done and the cute girl with the glasses went above and beyond and she deserves a raise or something because they are sweethearts.....

Great to build your credit apparently. The only two good things is it gave me Christmas money and build my credit oh and so i thought they said it was interest free for the month of December. So why is it i open my account up online and they gave me $33.00 less than my loan amount?! I am paying off this loan and not dealing with loan companies. I learned my lesson through citi financial the amount of interest you pay. I would rather be broke than borrow again. This company is so crooked ???? and i hate the idea they have access to my bank account! I called to ask them a week before the supposed date to change my income and they didn't change it! They just cost me overdraft fees. Not doing them a favor and borrow money from here again. I would rather go to money mart! Edit: as much as I dislike being in debt, it is good they are there.

Our visit and amazing. Despite not having any credit, Colleen Anderson really worked hard to get us the money we needed at a price that was comfortable for us. They even included life insurance and home/auto/legal/medical insurance for a year to help offset any unexpected situations. They even set you up with credit monitoring through TransUnion. I will definitely be visiting them again for financial help in the future and highly recommend anyone needing financial help to visit them.

Never go through this company. They are terrible. After having problems with them for a year we decided to have the loan bought out by Fairstone. We paid them the weekly 154 as well as a little over $6000 to pay off the loan. My husband checked his account tonight and they tried to deduct 20 cents from the account which offset our account and bounced it. We kept a secondary account for payments to them. The money was only in their when it was due. No one contacted us or anything. Just tried to with draw the money. The branch manager did it because we had the loan bought out. It was out of vengeance and nothing more. The other branch had even told us that it looked like we paid over to them and would be getting money back and here they are trying to bounce our bank accounts. And that doesn't even count the hell we had to go through and fighting just to get the loan bought out. Originally they refused to tell us how much we owed so that the account could be bought out. So you are being warned now. Never deal with this place. We have already been in contact with consumer affairs and will be contacting them Morning after this latest stunt. Thankfully the bank refunded the 20 cents and took off the nsf fee from our account. But I am pretty sure the branch is going to try to charge us another $50 dollars from that bouncing on their end when it wasn't even suppose to come out. Just like they kept charging us $50 dollars when their system failed and did not withdraw payments. If I could rate this place a 0 I would. Hoping I can save other people from having to go through this hell with this company. Please research before you borrow money from any company. Because this isn't worth it.

At a young age I was careless with my credit. Now in my 30's I have a family and own a business, I am actively searching for ways to rebuild it. An advertisement for a personal loan from Easy Financial peaked my interest, as they were offering a way to rebuild my credit. How awesome. As a new small business owner I could benefit from a loan and rebuild my credit at the same time. The customer service representative that contacted me, Marie, was very nice. She worked hard to make sure I was getting my information submitted so my approval would go through quickly. However, I had discussed with her what the wants of my loan were and why I was requesting a certain amount. One of them being to pay off a small loan that had a higher than average interest rate. When my loan came back "approved" it was for significantly less than I had applied for, and the interest rate was 49.86%. I was in shock. How could they expect people to rebuild their credit by offering seemingly criminal interest rates on miniscule loans. It would take 18 months to pay back a loan smaller than the loan I already had that will be paid off in 12, and it would end up costing more. I honestly cannot think of any reason someone would benefit from one of these loans. I gave it a 1 star rating because I did think Marie was nice and worked relatively fast. I hope my rating saves other people in a similar situation from the hassle of the paperwork, as there is quite a bit to submit just to get approved.

The staff at the branch were wonderful and connected me with the insurance I had on the loan. Now my payments are completely covered while I am unable to work. This first part of my review was and is for Stephanie and should have been posted the last time I received an loan so a year or so back! She was very professional and super helpful in helping me with my loan increase the last time I had an increase which was about a year or so back! She went above and beyond as she has helped me with being able to correct my credit score! As the site says I still have a couple of open accounts that are showing I still owe money too....but I do not! She gave me some numbers to call and email address to mail to so that I can correct this! As I'm sure if these 2 open accounts had shown up correct as paid that I may have been able to get a bit larger of loan increase! Yet she has been super informative, and very professional and very knowledgeable about her job! She is awesome! This next part of my review is for right now Nov 26th, 2021 This review is for the lady who helped me this time Kearston! She was very helpful and she answered all of my questions! She gave me the payment amounts of each amount in case I decided to not take the most amount I was qualified for! She was very professional and she herself was still learning and still was able to help! She did ask her boss a couple of things but still she was super nice and very professional through it all! She asked me if I would do this review and I was having trouble getting it to work and she helped me that as well! Thanks so much as even though I wish my payment amount was cheaper this loan came a great time so thank you for that phone a week or so back telling me I able to get another loan if I wanted! Thanks

I would like to first make it clear that I am NOT a shill for this company, neither do I know any of the staff personally. However, bottom line is that Easy Financial literally saved my life. I don't know Cara (the manager) that well, but she seems pleasant enough, but I have had TONS of dealings with Joel. He has always been kind, respectful, courteous, friendly and helpful to me. And never once did I get the feeling that he was anything but sincere. He truly showed me real empathy at a time when I needed it the most, and it is so refreshing to find a company like this who genuinely care about their customers. Never once did I feel that I was being "goaded" or pushed into other things against my will. He was always straight up and extremely personable with me. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone who is suffering with any illness and/or needs to borrow money. Probably the best company I've ever dealt with in Penticton - and I have lived here for 17 years. 5 stars all the way! P.S. - I just read a very negative review from a "Mike Lacoste" below who states that "The only 2 positive reviews are from the muppett employees." (A coward, I might add, who has to use a picture of a truck instead of a face pic!) Let me tell you that I have NOTHING to gain from writing this. Lacoste makes it sound like someone is holding a gun to his head and forcing him to do something he doesn't want to. Let's face it - this IS a business. And like ALL busineses, they are here to make money. HOWEVER..... they really do help a person out who is going through difficult times. Lacoste should perhaps go back to school and learn the fundamentals of life and business before running down a good company.

Unable to give half a star for poor performance, poor communication and overall horrible customer service, I will never be going here again for a loan again. Told me one amount and the next thing I knew they had cut it in half with no explanation and trying to push it through without confirmation while jacking up the interest rate from what had been previously been agreed upon. Do not give these people your business or hard earned money at this location. They are shady,sub par and the most difficult office to get anyone on the phone to answer questions. You will be a Very unsatisfied and disappointed customer going to this location with current employees. I’ve made contact with Tom before and he was terrific, I can’t say the same for heena or manager Brittany at this location. I would try anywhere’s else but this branch. Expecting to be treated like a customer not a nuisance and without communication.

Ridiculous... guy on the phone barely knows what he’s talking about and any question I have he goes “umm.. I’m not sure?” If I wanted to talk to a bonehead I’ll walk into a local alternative school and ask a 14 year old about credit card loans... didn’t expect that from a man working at a loan company.. a month ago I was pre approved for a loan, I had to abruptly leave the country for a funeral and I come back to continue my application only to hear that dummy say my credit score is too low and they can’t continue... wait a second.. I heard this place is the place you go to, to get an approved loan when everyone else says no.. my credit score hasn’t changed since that month so he must’ve did something wrong and by the time of his voice, is incompetent to fix the issue.. now I am left with no loan, 2 inquiries on my credit report and a bad morning... Please don’t ever deal with the new west location, ... lazy people...

The Penticton branch, Joel said if I pay back what I don’t use right away it would decrease my payments. To calculate it, he told me to go back to the website and use the calculator to estimate my new payment amount. LIES!!!! Once I payed by what I didn’t want my payments DID NOT decrease, only the length of the loan did. So now I’m stuck paying $300 bi-weekly for a ****ing loan I didn’t want. It should have only been $110 bi weekly. And to top it off I paid for the insurance, then was shocked I was laid off dec 1. I applied for the insurance that was SUPPOSE TO PROTECT ME, but was NOT approved.
