horrible customer service, didn’t file my claim for my atm error i put 210 in and the machine counted it wrong so i pulled the money out and the machine jammed and didn’t give me any money back. I filed a claim and they cancelled it without letting me know weeks later and just had to refile it. Keybank has to be the worst bank i’ve ever used ever. super slow customer service. very rude employees
I open an account 07/26/2017. I didn't receive my bank card till 08/08/2017. I called Key Bank costumer service and inform that I didn't receive my bank card. A lady on customer service verify my address and told me that you have wrong address here. Key Bank can't send your bank card to your new address. Key Bank send your bank card to Key Bank Branch 306 W Ferry st, Buffalo, NY 14213. You will get a call from branch after they receipt your card. After two days, a lady from Key Bank Branch 306 W Ferry st, Buffalo, NY 14213 call me and inform me that she has my card. I can go to Branch and pick it up. When I reached Key Bank Branch a lady who called already open my letter and told me Key Bank is closing your account because you try to do fraudulent activities on your account. I ask them what fraudulent activities I did on my account before I receive my bank card? She told I can't explain it. We are closing your account. Even I talk to manager and assistant manager Rosa May they also can't explain when and what I tried to do fraudulent activities? Key Bank is closing my account for that they are charging me $25. All staff in this bank try to do fraudulent activities through customer account and blame it to customers. No Key Bank employee is explaining me about my fraudulent activities but Key Bank closing my account. Key Bank didn't want to return my $350. Key Bank is thief and fraudulent bank I ever have business with. I never recommend my friends and family to open an account in key Bank.

Lack of communication. Dealt with reps that oversimplify situations in person and don't follow through with the status of your application that happen when you leave the branch.
I needed to find a notary on short notice. This bank not only let me know by phone they could do it (it was the day before the Christmas holiday), but someone cut their lunch break short so I wouldn't have to wait. I talked to two different tellers and they were both very knowledgeable and friendly. The notary that helped me named Kyle took extra care to make sure that my important documents were filled out correctly and was also very kind and courteous. He was helping me out but still made me feel like he appreciated me coming in. Very impressive service overall. Thanks so much!
They put restrictions on my account and, they won't give me full access to my money when I need it. The manager is name Dez and, she makes excuses on fixing removing the restrictions on my account everytime I go into the branch and ask her too. I even been calling the 1800 number and complaining about the main st branch in Niagara falls in Main st and they keep telling me that Dez the manger can easily move the restrictions if she wanted too. I wouldn't recommend this branch to anyone, unless you really want them to totally mess up your account and keep you in over draft and keep changing you late fees and that. How are they supposed to expect me to stay in a positive balance if they won't do anything to help me and give me full access to my money?
Hello had problems receiving my debit card called customer service woman said I tracked it and it was delivered so I said I didn’t receive it what do I do she said well obviously you are gonna have to wait another 7 to ten days her exact words so I told her don’t bother ordering me a card I’m going to branch, I get to branch 4 people waiting while girls are looking at a Easter basket so I went to relations manager and he was rude and had no idea what to do but blame on post office, left him after I told him I’m pulling money out due to problems right off the bat and he tells me than close your account, great manager skills , when got to counter poor woman was confused so called over a supposed lead teller she tossed my license at me and said you’re done I asked for her name she refused to give it so when she walked away a nice teller told me sir her cards are over on counter I proceeded to her station grabbed a card and told here she has a bad attitude and I am going to call and complain she stated go right ahead it’s not going to do any good, her name is julie Fleming and looking at the reviews and social media I realized I wasn’t the first person she had a attitude with and her still being there she is right it probably won’t do any good so good luck to your bank, I won’t do business or my family and friends won’t either, something needs to be done with the relation manager and mrs Fleming, good luck key bank
My experience with Keybank employees at the Lewiston, NY branch is an excellent one. I have been going for years and all the bank tellers are friendly, professional, and they know all their customers by name. I highly recommend this bank.
The key bank app hardly works half the time can't even log in
I have phoned this Branch to get information about remote account access. My calls were not answered and went to voice mail. I haven't received any return call. Disappointing.

I made a mistake on an ATM deposit and after 3 days, this bank has been unable to fix it. Their response to the problem has been very lackadaisical and uncaring but they seem to have no problem reminding me I made the original mistake. Customer service is obviously not a priority here.
Customer Service at the KeyBank location is evident every time I arrived. Mrs. Stevenson and her staff greet the customers like family, very warm and welcoming. The staff at this location is always knowledgeable, and efficient I never had to wait long for service. This location gets it "Right". Robert Chapman
Great team! I messed up my own deposits twice; it took just a few minutes on the phone with the brach to learn how to do CAD vs. USD deposits by mail. They fixed everything and even sent a deposit slip to my home in a letter. Can't recall the names, just trust that the message will get to the ladies in the branch. A big thank you from a loyal customer!
One of the most incredibly frustrating experiences I've had in a long time trying to reach someone. These bozos put a sticker on my house to call them on a number that is no longer. I then called the number on the recording to find a call center overseas somewhere, probably the Philippines from the sounds of it. Those people kept asking me for an account, my name and my phone to which I kept telling them that I don't have any business with Key bank. I asked for a real estate department but they kept giving me different 866 numbers that just kept coming back to someone struggling with English. Finally I got a hold of someone domestic who spoke english and was the preservation company they sent out. They were surprised that Key had not updated their records when I bought the property. Just another GIANT bank trying to fool us into believing they are local and care. PppALease

I repeat to her like the other clients that there is no problem and she again says that for her if it is a problem, she left in an annoying way called Ms. Mayra to her office I imagine that to question our denial so that She attends us. To the management of Keybank, please take action on the matter and, like many Hispanics, we go to their branch, either for business or personal, to seek the best treatment and it is ashamed that those who have to set an example treat us that way.
