Half the time the shelves are MT and it is always the same excuse "the truck never came in". Maybe they should use Foodlands truck, because their shelves are never empty.

Today I experienced seeing multiple people in the store without masks, including children over the age of 2. When I asked one person to follow the rules (a man in his 20s or 30s) he decided to take his mask off and be extremely rude and put the cashier and all the customers at risk! I was advised that police will not help in these situations and people don't have to wear masks... As a pregnant nurse who is not able to get vaccinated yet because public health does not make exceptions in Algoma for high risk young people.... This is abhorrent to me... I implore the young people to grow up and do your part to protect each other!!

I got there today and the line up was all along the freezers, all the way to the back if the store and keep going. I had nevertheless seen a line up that long because there were only 2 cashiers on cash and a few of the self-services open on a Saturday. We were in line for over 40 minutes! By the time it was our turn there were 5 cashiers. But the shelves were well stocked and they have alot of Free From products in both meat and produce. They are getting better with having more Organic items too.

I go here for the prices and sales. I don't buy their meat, and you have to be careful with the produce. Quite often they are out of regular item products which is disappointing as we are coming from out of town. But with that said it is nice to have a No Frills in Elliot Lake.

Prices are fair. Will price match with the best of em. There are great deals if you spend the time to find them. When it’s not busy its a smooth experience. As soon as there are a hand full of customers cashing out it’s very hectic! Little room to get around and pack your groceries. Very understaffed 2 to 3 cash out lanes open out of 6 at all times.

This is my go-to supermarket in Elliot Lake. Basic fare with a good selection of PC and No-Name products at fairly reasonable prices for Northern Ontario. However, some visits have been a little wanting with no inventory on some basic items like PC orange juice. But, I can't really complain. The staff there are helpful.

Store is generally under stocked. I've gone in for specific items which eight times out of ten are sold out. Store has gone down hill since new owner. I've been in and seen wilted lettuce and soft peppers. Meat section at times has had rotten meat or none at all.

No Frills-Elliot Lake is very neat in general, remarkable meat department, that is very clean and the employee always take care of hygiene issues, wearing gloves all the times. No Frills - Elliot Lake provides the best prices in town. even at the level of the drugstore the pharmacy team is very friendly and their co-payment for ODB patients is only $1.99. Outstanding job!

We drive 35 minutes to shop at this store. The prices are truly unbeatable; and although the selection is less than the Independant Stores, you have to remember that's it's "NO" frills. Huge thanks to Lyle and his staff for always helping with all our needs. :) In addition: the pharmacy is second to none. Discriminating. Violent workers. Recieved death threats over a review for calling out a worker who was nasty to my husband. Owner made up lies to get people on his side, but he was smart about it. Only insinuating my husband wrote nasty messages to him but not saying directly it was him. Workers have made fun of trans gender people while in the store working. Fruits and veggies are usually always rotten. If you complain about the workers, Lyle will seek you out even if you have your children with you to start yelling at you. He is a nasty nasty man who shouldn't be running a store. The old owners were so much better. They were the heart of the community. Always on the floor joking with customers, friendly with everyone. This place went down hill.

I have shopped at Elliot Lake's No Frills since they arrived in town years ago, mostly for prices. Last year moved an hour away and still come back to my No Frills. They have upped tbeir game in response to Covid 19. Store is well organized, shelves filled, clean and staffed by the same friendly efficient crew. Kudos to Lyle's No Frills! Great value as expected. No Frills has been my go to for groceries for decades. They have a decent selection of products ranging from low cost to the higher end President's Choice. The flier specials are usually well worth it. They also price match, so it does not matter where it's on sale, provided the other chain is near enough to be a competitor. This local is clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. A little while ago I forgot my bag of reusable bags there. I assumed they were gone for good, but I was surprised when I asked and they were holding them for me.

I can not agree with many people posting that is great place, maybe for some people. Over all store are not clean. many products are out of expire date, can find every time I go to the store. Meat department very poor handled, workers often are not wearing clean uniforms. I am sure that many people agree with me.
