This branch is the worst vancity branch that I have been to. Lived in North Van. DT Van. & currently live in Chilliwack, the other branches are fantastic. The tellers at the other branches are genuinely happy, welcoming & pleasant that provide a GREAT customer service experience. I cannot say the same for the tellers here. Doing the time to get to know each teller now that I am apart of the community. Doreen is pleasant but all the others especially Shelley seem miserable, bitter & unfriendly. If you are new to the town, expect to be treated with suspicion, questioned each & everytime about the intentions of your visit, expect an unfriendly welcome & negativity from people that are clearly bitter & unhappy with their lives. Matthew the manager is wonderful, but that's all I can say. I hope changes are made and the people representing vancity (especially the tellers) can be positive with all in the community. If I see changes at this branch & they are consistent, I will be happy to update this review.

I’ve always been satisfied with the service at the North Delta branch, however on my recent trip I found that they are no longer open on Saturday. This will definitely have an impact on whether I will continue to deal with them.

I had an appointment at 11 am Today(16-08-2018) at branch 19 ( scottroad and 72 ave Delta). I arrived 10.55 am at bank and one employee welcomed me with a rude face with out saying a good Morning or offering a chair. I was there to for apply for a line of credit. He asked me are You a member of Vancity? I said no. Since I am not an existing client of Vancity, He recommend me to go and approach to My existing bank first. He declined to hear anything from My side even checking My documents. He was not willing to start the procedure for opening an account. Very rude behavior... I dont suggest this branch.

I was in a car accident and have spine injury. Walking with canes. Security guard wouldn't allow me to sit down on chair made me stand for 37 minutes in line up so I could have access to my Safety Deposit Box. I think that's very cruel of him. He could see that I was dragging my left leg and had so much difficulty standing I was ready to punch him and go to jail because of the lack of compassion towards my disability. Shameful! I haven't been back since Nov 23rd 2021.

Took 45 mins to deposit into my account. Service is so slow and line ups are brutally long. Perhaps the branch manger should roll up his sleeves and help out if he’s not willing to hire more staff !

I have 3 accounts with vancity and have to go to their branches all over the lower mainland at times. This is by far the worst branch. I have to go there now and I'm dreading the wait and rude staff...

I recently had dealing with a mortgage account manager Manjot Sidhu in regard of a mortgage as co-signer. My intent was to get some information and suggest to my daughter to move our mortgage to my bank. However; after dealing Manjot whom has a great personality and lot knowledge to pass on. I decided to stay with Vancity.

This branch has the worst customer service and if you're next in line to be served by Shelley make sure to wait for someone else because she will do everything wrong and at the same time make you feel horrible for even stepping foot in their branch in the first place. I would rate this branch lower if possible and would strongly recomend they find a new job for Shelley where she doesn't have to communicate with other people.
