Im not one to post negative reviews for a place HOWEVER! I have been seemingly locked out of my account NUMEROUS times and they dont seem to fix it! All they say is "system error". The staff there are wonderful but their services are not. Im planning on switching banks.

Horrible experience. Opened account. Informed clerk I was a heavy ATM and Interac user and was looking for an appropriate account. Later, I got my first bank statement which was over $100 in extra fees. The teller had set me up with an account that charged a dollar for each transaction!! The totally wrong account. I went to branch and met with manager. She apologized and offered me $50 off the extra $100 in fees I didn’t accept or expect. I closed my account. Furious. Now FN Bank have damaged my credit by pursuing collection to recover the fees from the tellers error. Stay away from this awful bank. They are incompetent and would rather wreck your credit than take responsibility for their error. Oh and to take the cake, the manager forwarded the whole clerk error to collections and didn’t discount it by $50 as she had promised.

I've been with First Nations Bank of Canada for 20 years now. Never had any issues with anything except long waiting lines sometimes. They often ask how they can help me and they always send a review link in my emails as to how they did and what can be improved. They don't pay much for savings accounts and their loan rates are a bit pricey, but been very happy with their customer service for all these years.

first nations bank of canada in yellowknife . the worker's just hang up without helping out., no one know how to do their job there.

My wife always has trouble with this bank.They charge too much for fees. Other major banks do not charge 30 bucks a month then extra on top. I highly Do Not recommend this bank.

This bank does not even deserve a 1 star in its rating. It is not a bank that treats people with respect and dignity. It is fraught with employee turnover that attests to its mistreatment of individuals that initially want to work here. I would not recommend anyone doing business here. And I am a First Nation person strongly connected within the Aboriginal community!
