Hello I will add to this list of bad reviews I was profiled by a teller and she siezed funds from me directly and put them on hold gov cheque and then after complaining and nothing was done I didn't want to go back in to the branch I made the bigger mistake and scanned my second cheque to deposit and had another hold put on my gov cheque by the system everyone else i know has no problem scanning to deposit. I was profiled and had money seized by them at the branch so not good when people need there money I have been a loyal client for like 12 yrs and am seriously considering a new bank after having monies seized by a bank teller who has made a judgment call on me directly seizing funds of mine from a gov cheque is going to far as a bank

I have accounts there that were moved from Richmond Street when it closed so don't know anybody in the branch. It's 9:30 in the morning and I need to open a different account. I had to listen to a lengthy message about how they are taking such good care of their customers. Was going to leave a message but had to listen to the exact same long message again. Just hung up not feeling very "supported". Luckily I have other choices.
One of the manager on the weekend was a rude person, we went to bank for operating our deposit locker, had to wait in line to meet the teller and was finally told we will have to book an appointment. She gave us an appointment at a later date, however we came to know later that no such appointment was recorded and we did not actually require to book an appointment to operate the locker!!! I do not want to comment on the exclusive behavior we were subjected to, but I am thoroughly disappointed in having moved our personal banking to CIBC from RBC ( who in my opinion are more open and inclusive in their customer interactions).. I think your frontline staff in these smaller communities will need to work on understanding more on the Canadian values and what Canada stands for ..to retain a loyal customer base.

I have never had a problem with this bank. They bend over backwards to help me with my business and personal banking. Staff are always friendly and professional. Serena, Candace and Phil have all gone out of their way to assist me. Hopefully Phil stays on as the new boss.

Walked into the store and explained to the teller that i was currently a member of simplii financial. Before i could get another word out of my mouth she immediately started lecturing me on how they do not have any inflation with that company. I told her yes i understand that but i am now shopping around for a bank. She scoffed at me and said she may be able to set me up for an appointment in a few weeks to see if i would be suitable to be a customer at their branch. I was disappointed by this judgement and said i will be taking my business else were. She said "fine with me". I left very disappointed. Unfortunately they just lost a very good customer.

Branch is clueless when any paperwork relating to CIBC Investors Edge needs addressed. They want you to use their rip off mutual funds. Bank elsewhere.

Went to cibc today, got there early in hopes of not waiting. As it turns out no tellers until 10am but doors open at 930. To me this makes no sense and maybe someone in the bank could step up and give some service. Unbelievably terrible service and will be closing all accounts with Mickey Mouse banking(Cibc).
Hands down worst experience ever. Disorganized to the max, and lacking in customer service. Won't return and recommend you don't either. I arrive at my appointment time, they have no record of my appointment, have me wait 40 minutes, then come out and tell people who had arrived after me that he would see them next. I.am then told it will only be a few more minutes which it wasnt so I left. And to think the money they could have been making off me by selling me a mortgage. I can see why this place is not doing well.

I've been a CIBC client for 20 years and this is easily the worst branch I've ever had dealings with. If you leave a message to have your call returned they will never get back to you (It's happened multiple times). They have a super high staff turnover so you'll rarely have consistent experiences. Go to the Sardis location. It's way better.
