If you want to be reminded of how terrible SBI india is, then this bank is for you. Service is kept to the high indian standards. Some people working here are as rude as home branch. Will make you feel they are doing a favor just talking to you. If you find any young people working then that's you chance to get good service.

Horrid state of affairs, it's like they are decades behind other banks. Most staff are pretentious and impolite and every single one of them does not have any knowledge of their bank's protocols. Such a waste of space, better open another dollar store there.

For some reason I found the SBI Canada staff to be the same as SBI India employees. They refuse to help you and are pretty rude. They find it very convenient to dump work on someone else the same way as you would find in India. The customer service levels were as you can expect from SBI. Disappointed with my experience.

Place is a joke. Banks in india have better service! Rude AF, don’t know how to be polite and have zero customer service skills! I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. And I’m sure they don’t care about this either!

Pathetic service. Internet banking sucks. Their staff sucks on top of it. E.g; I called three different days to unlock my account which they locked it for no reason. You wont believe this but it is true. Mostly this issue related to they are in process to upgrade their internet banking. Indian rupees is down almost 1 dollar and still account is not active for transfer. This is just one incident. Regardless all of your need, just stay away from big guy (SBI Canada). Don't get sold by their cheap service like "cheap remittance to India". If this is not enough, then try experiencing their one star service.

I was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and quality of service at this branch. Roshni and Deepa were prompt and went beyond in helping me with my SBI app and transferring of funds to India. In fact, earlier in the week Varsha and Karn were very helpful in opening my accounts and providing guidance for my online set up. Recommend this branch without hesitation.

As some of the account holders mentioned below they are rude,no customer service at all and pretend they are doing you a favour or as they are giving money from their own pocket as a charity or something when you are actually taking your hard earned money to deposit in SBI NRI a/c Also I don't think they realise they are in CANADA and still back India where this kinda attitude and treatment for customers not a surprise at all...am saying this bcs I still remember how they treated me 11 yrs ago wen I went to my then home beach for Education loan against collateral I provided which worthed 10-15 times more than actual loan amount. I know they gona exist here regardless of their attitude but really hoping the new generation of employees would treat us customer a little decent than currently.

Called the call center to ask about Mortgage. Was directed to the Vancouver branch. Called the Vancouver branch right after, but the woman answered the call like she just got out of bed. She interrupted me while I was still asking the question and said- “Too early to talk about mortgage” and she hung up! Wow. First thing I am doing is closing my chequing account!
