Absolute pathetic service whether that be in branch or through email. Branch Manager does not give full attention, she is not at all welcoming, her attitude is as if she has been forced to fulfill her job duties. When I took my issue to the branch, I felt as if I am guilty of a crime unless otherwise proven. I would never have opened my account here and I have been trying to transfer my home branch. Super highly NOT recommended. Upper Middle Branch is much better. I would recommend higher management of First Ontario Credit Union that this branch staff should either be replaced or otherwise should be closed permanently.

I've been banking with FirstOntario Credit Union for 15 years and in the past 15 years any problems i have had it has been fixed quickly and favourably 8/10 times. So all in all a pretty great bank.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, the bank manager Troy is unprofessional and needs to have some customer service skills. First Ontario Credit Union should take more responsibility for their rude and unprofessional employees. DO NOT DELETE MY REVIEW BECAUSE YOU ARE ASHAMED.

Melanie stayed late when I opened an account back in 2015 or so. That was AMAZING service! - Fast forward to the last few interactions and they have all been awesome! - Joshua Rigby is definitely the king of balancing customer needs/requests with corporate objectives! - Special shout out to the tellers whom work behind that counter- You're doing awesome too! :)

I had a terrible experience with this branch and a lady named Melanie. I booked an appointment to inquiry about an autoloan. Not only was I put into "a box" by the consultant from the moment I stepped into her office I was asked in several different ways why I was applying through them, and not my own bank or through a dealership and was questioned about my financial ability to be approved. There was no prep given for the meeting, I wasn't told to bring any paperwork and when I asked why I wasn't told Melanie explained that she was the only person in that branch that week and that is was her responsibility to call me in advance but she didn't have the time. I had to take time off of work, this has delayed my ability to start the process to be approved for a loan and I was treated poorly and left feeling like they didn't wanted my business. I've never had such poor customer service, I would not reccomend this branch to anyone.

If you value your sanity stay away from this place. When we first got our mortgage through them we were excited unfortunately every time we have tried to deal with them after that has been a disaster. Nearly 2 year's ago we skipped a mortgage payment, it was taken out of our account anyways, and it was a huge hassle to correct. Fast forward nearly 2 years later and we tried to skip one again, you can skip 1 a year. We get an email stating we can't skip a payment because the last time we did was less than a year ago. I can go on my online banking history and see clear as day that's not the case because I can pull up nearly every mortgage payment I've ever made. This place is beyond frustrating to deal with, most if not all of the people who work there are clearly incompetent. I would never recommend them to anyone and I honestly can't wait until I can take my mortgage business elsewhere.
