(Translated) One would think that one disturbs officials. .. Much better service in Val-d'Or! In Chibougamau, we do the bare minimum. Both employees look fascinated by their computer. And seem to be confined to ONE thing: unemployment insurance. Better phone service when I was with a federal employee in Vancouver! ! (Original) On croirait que l'on dérange des fonctionnaires. .. Beaucoup meilleur service à Val-d'Or ! À Chibougamau, on fait le très strict minimum. Les deux employées ont l'air fascinées par leur ordinateur. Et semblent se cantonner à UNE chose : l'assurance -chômage. Meilleur service au téléphone, alors que j'étais rendue avec une employée du fédéral à Vancouver ! !

I received excellent service on my first visit to Service Canada. The staff was very polite and efficient, I only waited a couple of minutes to see a representative and my problem was solve in under 10 minutes.

I went in yesterday and applied for a passport renewal, very friendly and everything went very well. When I got home I discovered I had lost one of my new winter gloves and had no idea where I lost it, later that same day I got a phone call from them asking me if I had lost a glove, I went in this morning and picked it up. It was not so much getting my glove back but the concern that the staff had. I was impressed that they took the time out of their very busy schedule to find the owner of that glove. Thanks

Terrible service yesterday and ot bothers me so much I tried calling a supervisor there but you can't directly call and I can't go in. Was advised that I needed my expired passport and it wasn't on me but my form and ID were all complete. He insisted I needed it so I left, then later called Service Canada and they advised I didn't need it. Drove back, found parking, waited in line, explained situation and got SAME guy whose supervisor advised him. He told me he was in training, didn't apologise, and was extremely rude to me when I offered to show him proof of a photo of my expired passport. He said "For the FOURTH time, I don't need to see it!" I said nothing bc I really want my passport. It's been bothering me since. He gets paid well to do that job and treated me poorly bc of his oversized ego. Thanks, David - hope your days go exactly how you treat others at your job.
