Bar none, the Royal Bank on Bayfield street in Barrie has delivered the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. Given multiple opportunities to see the situation from my side of things they have done nothing to try to justify their actions. The two managers, Crystal and David have delivered nothing but policy and limitations where a person with lesser authority had managed to provide satisfaction on my very first visit to the bank. I am sorely dissappointed in their arbitrary and inconsistent application of policy. Their absolutely horrible attitudes. Their unwillingness to put any effort into rectifying the situation. And their lack of remorse for the multiple uncomfortable situations they are causing me, through no fault of my own, for expecting the same treatment the second time in, that I was given the first time in. Currently, they have no hope of retaining my business account. And what is currently at stake is my determination or not, to malign the Royal bank and their poor (to use only civil language) customer service and customer care, for the rest of my life, to ever person with whom the subject of banking comes up. (yes I am disgruntled, not my fault....squarely on Crystal and David, co-bank managers of little or no authority or customer service skills). Call back from David, full of "blah blah" and no substance, no amends, no effort at satisfaction. Will never speak well of this branch, or the Royal Bank in general. Business owners be advised, there is much better customer service available, than RBC on Bayfield St in Barrie.
