Drove my son here and he was very thankful for the kindness and help he received. He had to ask how to cook lamb. Lamb? I have never bought lamb myself, it's too expensive. I donate every chance I can but usually only canned goods. Will now consider donating hygiene products and meat in the future. Thank you, to all the volunteers who work hard at doing all you do!!

I really wish that this place operated on a day during the weekend aswell. Most people cannot afford to take time off of work to come in for this service and if they could.. well they wouldn't need it. Rediculous.

My ego was high so I almost missed out on this great experience.I walked in and felt a sensation that was very heart warming. The staff has a way of making you feel very welcome which made it a lot easier not to walk out from my overload of anxiety. They had lots of fresh vegetables and bread to pick out.Then when I got to the counter to get my basket I was pretty surprised they gave me more then enough to last me the rest of the month. So if you are anything like me put your ego aside and go meet these wonderful people. Don't forget to donate once you can! Perfect place to put giving and receiving in good practice.

Love volunteering at the Food Bank! I take our youth group here once a month to help out and they always enjoy it, and the staff know us by now and always make sure there's plenty of work for our group. It is awesome to see the generosity of people in Red Deer in donating food, and it's a good opportunity to help some people who are in a tough spot right now.

stopped in to visit and see and old friend building needs to be updated and they definately need more support from the surrounding businesses ... if the red deer city businesses took 1 day and gave 10 oercent of their daily profits the food bank could offer so much more than just moldy vegatables and expired frozen foods

Ive been getting food bank orders usually once a month, barring a couple months where i didnt need it, but i usually get a hamper at the end of the month when im very low on food. However, i called today and was told its been "6 Weeks" for a year. I dont appreciate them lying through thier teeth to me. They cant even pay attention to food allergies. Embarassing. Theres enough food to go around in this world.

A great organization that helps people in need. Though I kind of wonder why all these people driving in and nice newer cars need help with food if you can afford to pay for a vehicle that people who are using the food bank for the right reasons then if you've got the money you shouldn't be using these services they're for people who really need it
