Extremely Aweful Branch. Getting anything done is next to impossible and the staff are horrible. I felt almost like I was in an interrogation the last time I spoke to a "manager" on a simple issue. It ruined my day. This Bank feels more about making its money than customer value. TD and RBC willing to do more so will be in the process of changing myself and family members accounts to a company for the customer. Maybe it is just this branch but looking at the reviews ???? l, recommend another location if still want to bank with BMO

This location refused me entrance because of my 6 year old daughter not wearing a mask. I told door security I was exempt but he had to check with the manager if he could even allow me in. After multiple checks with his manager, he refused me entrance to do my banking business if I wanted to bring my young daughter inside. HE WANTED MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO WEAR A MASK JUST SO WE COULD ENTER! This is discrimination and I will be asking to speak directly to the manager to correct this behavior next time! Edited to add: I sent the BMO my name & phone number as requested and they haven't contacted me to resolve any of these issues.

Tried calling the Spruce Grove branch Multiple times but no luck after 30mins got a hold of a customer service and another more minutes trying to explain my reasons why I need someone to talk from the branch and the customer service agreed he will try to direct me to the branch. Finally heard a ring from the other line! Guess what? Its BMO-Fort Mcmmurray answering machine.

Can't even call to speak to a random person working there. Unless you know there name there answering service is just losing buisiness. Where do you get people who manage like this.

In 2007 I had to pay a 21000 penalty when I transfered north sold my house and was with TD Bank - can't say I was to pleased about it. I recently sold my house and bought again and found out i was on the hook once again for a penalty this time with BMO Spruce Grove branch which I ended up paying. A few days ago BMO reached out to me on there own and arranged to meet with myself this morning. I met with the branch manager Lee Bly and she wanted to ensure that the transition to the new house was smooth and also went above and beyond to have the mortgage penalty refunded. Spruce Grove BMO you have my respect, my future business so thankyou! I would highly recommend this branch based on this experience.

Absolutely terrible. I have been with this bank my entire life. That is where my family has forever done their banking and I can honestly say I am done with them. Horrible customer service for most of the staff. On 2 separate occasions I have had major mishaps with my money in the past year. All of the paperwork has been completed with investments properly, but whoever completes it on their end seems to make error after error... My second and final frustration occurred this past week with my student line of credit. Again, everyone tried to blame someone else and the only person who genuinely tried to correct the problem was in the wrong branch in the wrong city (again bmo online fault). They genuinely do not care about your hard earned money. And when they make mistakes there is zero remorse. I don't have the savings for that to be a one off slip when it has happened over and over again. Find another bank who will make a mends for their errors and takes ownership of their mistakes. Thank you Jeff in Kelowna for trying so hard to help. It is very appreciated.

Tried to add a savings acct to an already set up business acct. Their answer “nope can’t do that without an appointment” It’s not a mortgage it’s a simple addition of a savings acct. Not the first time they make it extremely harder than it needs to be.

Poor customer service!! Asked the old HAG teller for a balance on my deposit, she scolds me for not asking at the start of transaction!! Put her in the back shes not good for business!!

At times good. .. at times terrible. On balance not good. Poor at returning phone messages even after multiple calls. Some staff poorly trained. I once found a envelope of money on my property and knowing that the bank of Canada provides a service for recovering paper money that has become degraded due to heat/moisture I went into this branch to have them send it away and was told to go home and do it myself. The supervisor that day claimed no such service was available. Been with BMO my whole life. I'm 55. ATB in Stony Plain has MUCH better service. Thinking of switching banks.

I,m so disappointed with one of the mortgage specialists. i had a few things go wrong with deferring my mortgage. Then i requested some extra tax money be put in my acct last friday! The mortgage specialist apparently got moved to a different department . I emailed her and her response to me was I,m not in that department any more. Come in and talk to the tellers to see if they have a deposit for me. Well she knows i,m a Heart patient and can,t walk very well. So upset she couldn,t pass this on to the new mortgage specialist to do a followup!!!! Still waiting for a message from the Bank in Head Office and still waiting for the email from her giving me a contact name and email.

I love BMO. This branch in particular. I get amazing service and speak with people who listen to me. I do my business and personal banking here. They have helped me out so much. Especially Lachlin - thank you for being so helpful and easy going. I will keep trying to force my friends to switch to BMO.

Love this branch, the ladies are ALWAYS so happy to help. And make me feel like they genuinely care. I've NEVER had an issue doing personal and business banking here. They always go above and beyond! I drive 1.5hrs just to-do my banking here because of the staff!! Thank you guys so much!♡

Customer service was fantastic! The staff here at the Spruce Grove branch are friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone here went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% completely satisfied.

I have multiple businesses and multiple places I call home and because of this I have the displeasure of dealing with many different branches in many locations. BMO is on the edge of failure in all locations. It is a company wide failing. Having 1 or 2 over worked and under paid tellers, 10 people in line and now the NEW person trying to educate you on how to do it yourself on line or at the temperamental bank machine. Bmo must start focusing more on the customer and less on profits or they will loose my business completely. How can they expect their staff to be passionate in training the public so they can put themselves out of a thankless job.

try to get InTouch with anybody at the branch or head office, go ahead i dare you. good luck!!!!!! nice to see the response from management was MUCH quicker then anybody answering phone at branch or associates calling back. no wander BMO has record profits again, they are very short staffed.

I have been with the BMO for several years. One of the reasons is the customer service. The tellers up front for day to day banking are most helpful, listen and offer suggestions. Similarily the rep's in the back. They have afforded me the option to see them on short notice and have always responded to my e-mails or telephone calls within the same day. No place is perfect and from time to time the line ups for service are a bit of a test but other then that personally I am very pleased with BMO and this branch.
