Wonderful bakery with a wide selection of fresh dessert, bread and meals. The breakfast BLT was delicious. The egg and bacon was awesome and the toasted bread was brought everything together. The staff and service is fast and very friendly, i will definitely back.

They make THE best pasteis de nata in Toronto, period. It’s the closest you can get to the ones sold at Belem in Lisbon. The owner and staff are super warm and inviting. Toronto needs more places like Terra Nova because of the genuine warmth and love for good food exuded by the people who run it.

Such a disappointment of a dessert brought to friends. Sadly, this cake tasted old and jelly filled as opposed to fresh cream and fresh strawberries-a sad fake cake of strawberry shortcake. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!! Sadly disappointed

I frequent this place on the weekends. There's a lot of competition in the area for cafe/bakeries but I can honestly say Terra Nova stands at the top. They have such a fantastic selection of items that will satisfy you no matter what you are in the mood for. Fresh breads, coffee, gourmet pastries, cakes and my favourite- hot home-made food at the hot table. The lasagna and pizza are a must-try if they are fresh. I love their Risos too. The owner is a very polite woman and her staff is great as well. Love running into my buddy Oliver. Oh yeah and they have the best custard tarts I've tried so far in Toronto! I will miss them when I move.

Nice and clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The place looks fairly new, parking is very limited. I had a cream tart and it was okay. They also offered savoury options.

Portuguese style bakery with hot table during lunch hour. People there are nice and prices are reasonable. I enjoy the chicken mozarella sandwich with tomato sauce but you can choose whatever you want in it. They have natural orange juice which is a plus. The owners have other employees working there everyday but they still clean the tables just like anyone else. It's a fairly new place as well keep that in mind when looking for specific pastries as they don't have all of the typical Portuguese style pastries like other bakeries.

A very middle-of-the-road location as much as I've tried my best to enjoy some of their baked goods I have been frequently disappointed from day-old which might as well be week old to cookies without flavour this is not the place to go to for fresh baked pastries however if you would enjoy an amazing lunch counter or a great latte and coffee they certainly serve up excellent brews and serve a great lunch menu to choose from!

We chose this locally owned bakery as our meeting spot for today's ETFO pickets that were to take place outside the local MPP's office. Fresh baked goods, friendly service, clean washrooms, and they kept up the awesome service throughout the day. Really cool that we found this amazing bakery that kept our colleagues warm, fed and happy!

A great, unassuming cafe/ bakery with a good selection of pastries and cakes, specialty coffees and light meals. There specialty are Portuguese baked goods that are excellent. The service is attentive, fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Basic but functional washrooms that are properly supplied and are clean.

It's a cute little bakery with great desserts and probably the BEST Tiramisu Cake ever! My husband got the cake made to order for my birthday and it was definitely the highlight of the evening! Most of the food is at room temperature; and pastries are average. Nice people, though, but that's not what I pay for. I work in the area and try to avoid this restaurant, but once in a while I give it a chance to see if there have been any improvements. Disappointed every time.
