I only recently began eating this bread. I love it. The product is very good as bread, and that this is a large commercial baker makes this an impressive feat. The taste is, well good bread. The texture is good, I love it for my lunch sandwiches.
I'm really glad that Rudolph is bringing hearty honest bread to most supermarkets at an approachable price.100% recommend their flax seed rye loaf. Also freezes very well in case you can't finish before the best before time.
Best bakery. Healthy, tasty bread and always fresh.
after years of looking for a great day to day bread I have foundry new fave! Thank you Rudolph's Bakeries. I'm addicted. Please don't change a thing!!!
The best multigrain, It's full of great ingredients. They spoiled me forever, can't eat any of the other brands. Buy it a Costco or No Frills for the best price.
Owsome
Wow! I accidentally picked up a loaf and consequently ended up devouring it!! The bread is so soft and fresh tasting. A product has to be impressive for me to write a review... so try Rudolph's! I'm looking forward to making the same "mistake" on my next grocery run. :)
New Bavarian Multi grain is the best! Thank you all employees at the bakery for being part of making such an awesome product. Happy New Year!
I worked in that bakery. It was my bad experience to work with the team in that place. My supervisor Kayon was very nice. She helped me alot so that i can stand there. But the rest of members like Angelina,Kristina they tortured me alot.It was vey hard to work there with them because I was from India and they don’t like me.Everytime they were shout on me and say bad words to me.I was not only the person harrased by them. They do this with everyone who is coming from India.Really Really it was my bad experience.
I'm happy to work with Rudolph
Rudolph's breads are SO GOOD! Tastes like bread should taste.
Love their breads. Perfect for my morning avocado toast. ???? ????
I purchased the new Bavarian Dark Caraway Bread and was hoping to find it filled with caraway seeds, disappointed to see many flax seeds but couldn't find a caraway seed...should be listed as Dark Flax Seed bread.
Rudolph Bakeries is the best.
My aunt and uncle worked here in the 60s and we always ate Rudolph's bread and even jelly donuts! So happy you're still going strong. I read another reviewer who complained about the price. I think your price is extremely good! I live in Victoria BC and all of our bread is about $4 or $5 for a basic loaf, nothing special. Wish I could have some of yours again!! Lucky people in Toronto! xx
Just found a hair in my bread......
just picked up a loaf of multigrain at costco last week. Love this bread. No sugar added, lots of big seeds on crust. great to eat as is or toasted. Will definately be buying this again.
Where have you been all my life! Best sandwich or toasted bread I have found. Super healthy Too!
Minus FIVE stars!!!! Have been eating Rudolphs since the 50's and was outright SHOCKED when the price for a pack of multi-grain at my local NoFrills jumped from $2.00 to $3.87 this Feb2020. Did some calling and Rudolphs claims that the store sets the price and $2 is a common price for when Rudolphs runs promotions. Hard to believe that this promo ran for years, uninterrupted, and just brutally came to an end. Need to talk to the store manager again, who had claimed Rudolphs sets the price, not the store.
Great tasting bread
I LOVE Rudolph's bread and have been eating it for many years. It is better than any other bread on the market. I went to the Polish/German butcher in Union, NJ to buy some for my vacation. Image my heartbreak when the owner told me that Rudolph's would no longer deliver to them. Why not? I am heart-broken!!!!
Seems chill
Very quick to get in and out with my bread. They have good social distancing measures, only one person in at a time. Fridays is buy 2 get one free!
Our family has come to love Rudolph's Bavarian Multi-Grain Bread, however; we can no longer find it at Costco. Has the company stopped working with Costco (Canada)? We love that there is NO SUGAR added, and it provides several slices for our growing family. Please keep the bread available at Costco (Canada). Thank You. Wonderful product!
Tasty fresh bread every time. Love this place
Love this bread. No sugar added, lots of big seeds on crust. Great to eat as is or toasted.
This is a manufacturing and distribution facility the staff extremely helpful oh nothing don't forget your pass key
what do they do with the bread ends, i appreciate the gesture, but just curious. When I pass by that black and white checkered bag, can't help grabbing a couple loafs.
June 2020 review: 1 year ago I gave a 1-star review because Rudolph veered away from their original formula (for Bavarian Premium Sandwich Bread. ) To my delight and to their credit, they brought back the good old recipe a few month later and I’ve been back as a loyal customer again. Just by looking at the bread crumbs one can tell the differences. Now having retrieved their old recipe, Rudolph really makes the best sandwich bread in Toronto-GTA. ......................................................................... Previous review (1-star) : Rudolph bakery has changed their original ingredients and baker's formula, now their bread tastes awful or just another plain bread at best.
might have to go here for the convenience of the location
Low quality, used to enjoy for the price it was but something changed in the multigrain...
I have been buying Rudolph's Bavarian Multi-Grain bread for years. Three weeks ago I bought a loaf from Food Basics, and within 4-5 days the last two pieces had green mold on them. Two weeks ago I bought a loaf from No Frills and the same thing happened. So this week I bought a loaf from Fortino's, and on the fourth morning I had green mold. I have NEVER had this happen to me before this. If you changed the way you make it I would suggest you change it back. I won't be buying anymore simply because I can't eat a whole loaf in three days. Please explain, I see a lot of reviews like mine too. November 24, 2021
This is my favourite bread brand! I love the variety, and tend to switch up the type I purchase everytime I shop. My 3 year old daughter loves it too (and shes pretty hard to impress)and I feel great offering up a healthier bread option to her! Her fave is the Multi Grain, toasted with peanut butter! Thank you Rudolph's for making such great bread!
my favorite bread)
Best bread on the entire planet i used to eat it rite out of the bag I worked for this company back in the 80 s in the United states bristol pa
Just bought a loaf of bread at Sobeys. It was rotten. And it had mold!
I wish I knew who is the smart guy that picked the plastic bag for the 500g sour dough rye bread. The bag is so tight that the first slice has to be destroyed, you just can not get it out. This is unacceptable for an other wise excellent bread.
Nice staff, good bread
First time buying this bread really enjoyed the taste and texture of the bread the first sandwich then when I went to make a sandwich a couple of days later I found mold on the bread. The tag shows best before date Feb. 23 today is Feb. 21. Tried their website but just goes to under construction tried the phone number but the volume is so low on the messages I couldn't understand which number to press for any customer service.
Purchased on November 5 with expiry date November 9. Opened November 7. It was moldy.
I just spoke with a rep at the company and shared my concern as well as others on their review section. I was questioning why the calorie count of their breads have almost doubled recently. For diabetics you could have two slices but now each slice is all that is allowed. The calorie count for example with the Multigrain bread use to be 110 calories per slice and is now 170. The rep I was speaking with said the package of bread is now heavier and the slices larger but I beg to differ with her as I don't think they are that much bigger. I will now have to assess the want to continue enjoying this bread or switch to another brand.
The last loaf purchased was inedible. Never tasted anything this rotten. It stank like pigs food. Each time it's money wasted. Never again.
I contacted their client service to advise them that a half loaf of bread had an unusual amount of air holes in it. The response was feeble in which they said that’s their bread turns out. This is a company that truly does not stand by its product. I would not recommend them nor their products.
i try this bread and i love it !!!! good job
Our favorite bread! We've tried lot's of different breads and nothing can match Rudolph's, especially when making grilled cheese sandwiches.
Amazing breads and desserts
Your bread is the best. When I buy plain white bread for sandwiches I only buy Rudolphs " White Crusty"....WHY ? Read the ingredients. It's a no brianer. No other mass produced white sandwich bread has such simple wholesome ingredients. Please stay true to your history. Thanks..
I come for the multigrain bread
This place has the best bread in Toronto!
Went to buy a loaf of bread , asked of they had debit I was told yes but I need to spend $ 10. I'm didn't need 5 loads and it's also illegal to ask for a minimum purchase. Everyone is using debit during the virus , this is rediculous
Great bread
I have been enjoying Rudolph's MultiGrain bread for several years now. However recently their product has changed and I experience an awful aftertaste of some kind of chemical. I wish they would just stick to a good thing rather than think they can make changes for more profit at the expense of quality. I will no longer be a customer. It's too bad.... I really did enjoy their original product.
hard to find companys that still make bread this good it dose not taste like stuff you normally get threw a grocery store
I have been buying your breads for several years. They are our family's staple. I love the fact that there is no added sugar. The taste is better than any other rye breads I have tried and I love thee fact that it is made in Canada. I will continue to support you.
In the past month or so I have had all but ONE loaf of Rudolphs bread go moldy at least 2 days before the 'best by' date. When I called the 800 # to complain, all I got was a recording and never had a call back to messages left. As much as I dislike Dempsters (under baked most of the time) it may be an alternative but I'll go looking for an independent bakery who cares about its product and customers
I love their traditional healthy bread. They are committed to quality.
I have no access to any market here in Suffolk (Hampton Roads, Virginia) to buy bread from Rudolph's Bakeries. - But each year, I get some of the Schinkenbrot and Bavarian Dark Rye with caraway seeds when I visit with my daughter in Hudson Valley, NY; and this Christmas was extra special because this New York Santa Claus delivered a couple loafs of each to my home. ( I grew up in a Bavarian village where our daily bread was baked by the bakery in a brick oven fresh every day). In over 40 years of living in the USA , I never found such heavenly bread here as that coming from the Rudolph's Bakeries in Toronto. I just wonder if there would not be a market for the bread in Virginia Beach where I could drive to?
Out of plain rye again ----we love your bread but more than once -none in the store at Derry/McLaughlin - Mon. pm---after calling company -salesman says there should be --NOT- there is the $2.99 dark -not on sale -- so frustrating
Its a huge facility. Didn't like the quality of some products. A great experience for me though.
How does Rudolph's get their bread so soft?? My family loves it. Thanks for making a great product.
