This is a cool spot, catering to those looking for Portuguese baked goods and coffee. It's very popular with locals and is often occupied with espresso-drinking clientele chatting and hanging out on any given morning, both in and outside of the shop. They have sweet things and more basic breads, plus a few sandwich options. Good place to grab a loaf and "uma bica" (an espresso) in the neighbourhood.

Moved into the neighborhood in January, and this store is my go to for anything bakery or sweets related. The caramel coconut pudding might be the best treat in Toronto. The prices are so good, and it's always bustling. Sometimes I'm not sure what something is, but the staff are always incredibly helpful! Personally think this is the best Portugese Bakery in town!

Such a sweet bakery! The hospitality is nothing short of Europe. I honestly find so much kindness and peace from the people who work there and it truly is the sweetest cafe to sit down and enjoy some lovely desserts! I can't wait to visit it again. I might make it my new favorite place to visit when I need to smile and grab a hot cup of coffee! The owner and his son are truly inspiring and I know you'll get the same experience I did ????

Now that Alcoa has closed, this is the best Portuguese bakery in the city. The bread is always delicious, and very, very fresh. They bake it throughout the day. Their pastries are also excellent, as well as the coffee. 10/10

I ordered a cake on my daughter's birthday. The next day in the morning when I went to pick it up they told me to come in the afternoon and in the after they couldn't give me the cake bz they didn't make it!

Awesome variety of breads, VERY well priced, and open till 10 pm. So lucky to have this in the neighbourhood. Would love it if they could make multi or whole grain breads instead of just white, but in the meantime, I’ll forgo the fibre cause it’s so damned good!
