First stepping inside, I was greeted with "good mornniinng!" this is a warm and cozy place not just because of the delicious smell of baked bread, but because of the friendly, warm and kind woman behind the counter. I heard another staff call her Luciana. She definitely knows all her regulars by name and talks to them like friends. As for the food! I had the Peach scone. So good. Huge pieces of peach inside. There's fresh loaves of many types of bread, foccacia, baguettes, and a slicer for them. They also have packaged Ace Bakery crisps, croutons, syrup, and Jams to buy along the front counter. There is a small breakfast, and larger lunch menu. Some frozen items as well are available for sale in a small upright freezer by the bread. The front entrance is near samples of bread to try. There are some desserts from dufflets. This location is a little off the mainroad but so worth coming to! It had 6-7 or so parking spots out front which never had more than 3 cars there at any given time while I was there. The store has a wooden Wheelchair ramp. There's a large community table you could sit 10 at comfortably, and nine window counter seats. Certified compostable cups. Lattes one size, but delicious! Brekkie egg sandwich was nice as well!

One of my favourite lunch time spots in the area. They have a sandwich loyalty club so you can get your 13th sandwich free. Half sandwich and soup is my go-to. Also convenient to grab some yummy bread/buns for dinner while you're there.

If you go to reception don't expect anyone to answer the phone to let you into reception area. If and when you do get in, expect rudeness in its ultimate form. No one is in the reception area so you need to walk by to the left and ask for assistance. Here is where you get ultimate rude. First thing you get is the attitude of how dare you disturb me at my comfortable chair and desk followed by I can't help you. Is it not obvious that I'm busy. Etc. Since they treat customers this way I find it difficult to do business here.

Ace offers some delicious lunch options. The sandwiches also taste so fresh and pair well with their soup offerings. There is a great relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very very good artisan breads, All hand crafted and made. They offer awesome lunch choices to the Tuna Melt away (My Favorite) plus many different snacks. Plus of course you can buy some fresh bread to take home.

Ace is the bread pride of Toronto as far as I'm concerned. A very classy and delicious bread on the world stage, and I have seen (and eaten bread all over) the world. I'm eating some Ace bread right now, and loving it as usual.

Working with ACE Bakery in production area is such a great experience. I've personally learned lots of things here. Safety is the first priority here and every product is made with higene and a quality checked and then later is packed appropriately. With employees it's easy to mix up and they all have nice nature. All the supervisors here are very nice and helpful.

I am so sorry to learn that the Ace Bakery Cafe at 1 Hafis Road is permanently closed. It was a great place to order specialty breads and the staff were terrific. Not happy that this website does not disclose this sad fact. I had to drive over there and learn it from the sign on the door. I guess this is a clear reflection of Weston's respect for the reputation of the splendid firm it swallowed up without a thought of what it contributed to the diversity of food offerings available.

I used to love their french baguettes but cant buy them anymore. The recipe seems different. They are spongy and have an odd texture which is too bad.

Yesterday I bought Ace's Raisin Walnut Oval but am disappointed as it contains more raisin than walnut. In fact, of the 3 slices I have had so far (cut from the middle of the loaf) I did not come across EVEN ONE piece of walnut. Very disappointing! And I paid $6.50 for this!

Pretty great service, awesome bread and a great selection of sandwiches to choose from and customize. Prices are very good as well. Looking forward to my next lunch break. There is a small seating area as well as parking in front.
