I went to Sobey's to buy a Birthday Cake for my sister since her Birthday is on Christmas day. Their cakes are really good, plus they have plenty of good fresh products.

Best local grocery shopping experience. It pays to read their flyer weekly. Popular with the seniors early mornings, be warned. Less crowded and fewer aisles being blocked by the stop in the centre of the aisle and talk kind of socializers in the evening and when they first open. Best produce in town, but higher priced than the rest of their competition. Best and friendliest staff in town. They are ready to serve, and the most polite and helpful too! You pay more, but you get more in the way of service.

Sobey's is a chain of clean bright grocery stores. This is a big Sobey's and has many specialty departments, such as seafood and a bakery. Prices may be a bit higher than neighboring stores.

It's alright, prices are higher than superstore but the up side is there open 24/7******updated review December 22 hours are cut way back 1* no farmers milk products at all I asked up front when paying for my other items I said no farmers cream if ya can't find it i guess not. That's a great anwser.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. However the prices I find aren't as competitive as Superstore. Maybe that's due to quality factoring in, I don't know, but I've never noticed a difference in quality for vegetables or steak. But I find a 100$ worth of groceries at Superstore or Walmart will generally be closer to 120$ at Sobeys. But again, this could be for some good reasons. Regardless of price, I will always go there when superstore is closed. The fact that Sobeys is open pretty much 24/7 is it's best feature.
